Wunderbar

Die freundlichen Menschen, sehr natürlich und offen. Die Penthouse Suite war phänomenal. Das Essen Mega fein, schöne Weine. Die Bulli Fahrt mit Herrn Gufler ein Erlebnis.

Merano is beautiful in autumn, Hotel Ansitz is the place to stay

We had a room upgrade to a Suite, which was a very nice gesture, much appreciated. - the suite was in the new wing, modern spacious and well designed. With All the little details that seasoned Travellers appreciate. The bed was comfortable, there was a walk-in wardrobe, and a daybed lounge area. Large shower - the spa area was large relative to size of hotel, with lots of relax areas, saunas, infra red, steam bath rooms. Excellent. We had massages by Sarah which was good. - the garden must be the pride & joy of the owner.. nice landscaping (some parts look like a Japanese garden), with fruit trees as well. - overall the hotel and room was very clean - good location- only 10-15 minute walk into town, part of it was a nice walk by the river.

The dining area was lovely but I wished they had more choices for dinner. We dined there all 3 nights. The beef steak was well cooked, the rest of the dishes were ok. Restaurant staff appears aloof. Service was efficient but not friendly. The senior person warmed up and was nice after we started talking to her.

Alles wunderbar.

Wir hatten die Freude fünf Tage im Hotel Ansitz Plantiz zu verbringen. Vom stilvoll eingerichteten Zimmer, über den freundlichen Service bis zur schönen Hotelanlage war alles wunderbar und auch bei einem kleinen medizinischen Zwischenfall wurde uns kompetent und diskret geholfen. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vom Frühstück bis zum Abendessen alles Perfekt, ich freu mich aufs nächste Mal

1. Eigentlich etwas versteckt, oberhalb von Meran, wunderbar ruhig gelegen, gleich links in die Tiefgarage, meine Anreisetag, war gleich ein Regentag, umso besser, dass ich gleich in die Tiefgarage fahren konnte, ich wurde nicht nass;-)) .....nach dem parken hörte ich gleich Musik und sah soviel Details nur in der Tiefgarage, nebenan gleich die Fahrradgarage..... usw....... 2. Ich wurde wunderbar herzlich empfangen und in mein Zimmer begleitet, was nicht selbstverständlich ist! 3. Das Zimmer war perfekt. 4. Das Frühstück war gesund und sehr reichhaltig und immer schön eingedeckt, ich kenn Hotels in Deutschland, da ist das nicht mehr so 5. Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet und auch wunderbar eingedeckt, wie auch beim Frühstück. 6. Das Massageteam war so wunderbar und immer bemüht noch ein freies Zeitfenster für mich zu finden, ich wurde dafür sogar vor meiner Anreise angerufen.......wo gibt es denn das? 7. Ich persönlich war von der Frau Chefin sehr angetan, man merkt Sie hat alles im Griff, und ist immer sehr, sehr, hilfsbereit, unglaublich freundlich. 8. Das Hotel Ansitz hat soviel Details, mit dem Service und allen Mitarbeitern bekommt man das rundumsorglos Paket..... Ich such schon ein passendes Zeitfenster für den nächsten Aufenthalt........

Mir fällt nichts ein, was mir nicht gefallen hat.

Wir haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt und gut erholt. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Anlage des Hotels wunderschön gepflegt und das Personal sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend.

Liebevoller Luxus ohne Protz

Alles. Schön angelegt, sehr geschmackvoll, mit Liebe zum Detail, premium Frühstück, große gepflegte Zimmer. Überall gab es Kleinigkeiten zu entdecken: Sprüche, Buddhas, Pflanzen, Deko. Aber nie zu viel oder zu kitschig. Schöner Saunabereich, toller Whirlpool auf dem Dach. Wir waren Ende November dort, auch dann zu empfehlen, weil es sehr ruhig ist.

Alles perfekt - ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen und Wiederkommen!

Das Hotel ist einfach ein Traum! Besonders haben wir den so gut beheizten Außenpool und das Whirlpool auf der Dachterrasse genossen. Abends - wenn es dunkel wird und man einen so schönen Blick auf die Bergspitzen genießen kann ist das ganz was Besonderes. Das Frühstück ist sehr sehr gut - alles was unser Herz begehrt und vieles mehr war da. Das Personal und Familie Gufler sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Und den kleinen "Plantschi" - die Laufente , die wir von unserem Bett mitnehmen durften erinnert uns nun zuhause an die schönen Tage , die wir im Platitscherhof verbringen durften. Danke wir kommen gerne wieder!

Colazione spettacolare Hotel esteticamente molto bello

Poco personale in struttura, in spa non c’è mai nessuno a cui chiedere. Piscina esterna poco calda, è scomoda da raggiungere, bisogna fare 20/30’metri al freddo, ci vuole un collegamento chiuso Posto a cena non garantito per gli ospiti..5 ore prima della cena era già tutto pieno. Un 5 stelle deve garantire il posto a cena a tutti gli ospiti.

Posizione tranquilla. Camera silenziosa ed accogliente. Fantastico angolo pomeridiano con torte e dolci fatti in casa. Ottima cena con servizio attento ed amichevole. Colazione superlativa con prodotti di alta qualità. Area Wellness ok. Il massaggio era super...grazie a Judit per la sua professionalità!

La nostra camera era molto confortevole ma necessita di un refresh / update.

Disappointing

The garden area with the outdoor pool is nice and relaxing and truly represents a 5 star category hotel. The breakfast is delicious, too

Our junior suite at the old building (where the reception is located) is not reflecting at all a 5 star category hotel. The view is very limited, the shower plus the furniture are old and far away from state of the art. I am very surprised that this hotel is listed as a 5 star hotel at booking.com while at the hotel webpage and hotel letterhead it states 4 star level - which I think is appropriate. A note to the Booking.com people: your listing as a 5 star hotel is misleading and simply not correct. You must correct that in particular given the top notch 5 star level pricing. Bottom line: the hotel is a good 4 star hotel but the price level is clearly not in any relation to the value delivered. We would never go there again at this price level. I am fine in paying for a true 5 star hotel category but this hotel is not worth that price level. It is a 4 star hotel, see pic from the floor

Nothing we were treated awfully. We were put in the worst room it was like a basement with no light at all. When we asked for another room we were rudely told that was all they had. When we said we would have to leave because of it no one cared and they charged us the full price plus tax on days we didn’t even stay for. We left after one night. Worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel

We've booked a room with a mountain view but our room had a non-transparent window faced to the fence above the technical stage. We could have 10 sm of mountain view between bushes only on the back-side balcony. So the room was dark and stifling, we couldn't open the window due to the terrible noise from the technical stage. When we complained to the administration they didn't try to improve the situation.....
