The room was great, with a beautiful view of the river. It was a little warm but we just opened the window. It was big and comfortable, my only complaint would be the pillows. We each only had one and it was very soft. I would say the price was in line with costs we paid across Italy, however, for the price it would have been nice if breakfast was included, there was the option to purchase, however it was a bit spendy if you just wanted something small. The staff was wonderful, very kind and helpful. The location was great, easy to jump on the water bus or walk. We had a lovely time in Venice, despite the rain.
My only complaints were pillows on beds, room was a little warm, and no breakfast included. Nothing major, we had a lovely time.

This was my splurge for our 2 week trip in Italy, Our room was on the grand canal. The view was lovely, as was the room.
We were so exhausted from sightseeing, we ordered room service, which was delicious!
I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like. I would say the one area where there was room for improvement would be to have taller chairs near the window, so it's easier to look out at the fabulous view.

Location and good nearby restaurants
More space to sit, as only on terrace could be windy, wet or too hot dependent on weather.

location was amazing and the patio on the canal was fabulous.
they were not able
to have the AC on.... so it was hot when we went.... we left the windows open... but mosquitos came in.

It was more than what we had hoped, as far as providing a true Venician feel and ambiance.
Our bath tub was a bit tricky to operate

I thought the breakfast was poor. two nice but hopeless staff. no idea what they were doing. tiny coffee when I asked for large, in Italian. very unenterprising continental breakfast. sad when rest good.

Loved the location situated right on the grande canal with a landing for water taxi and just a few steps away from a vaparetto stop. The staff were friendly & helpful storing our bags during the day of our departure. Breakfast included was yummy. Bed was comfortable.
Water pressure in the shower was not great.

This hotel is conveniently located right at a water-bus station. It was easily accessible. The neighborhood was not loud and felt more residential and less touristy than the other visits I've made. The staff was very diverse, always helpful, and very attentive. The hotel itself is BEAUTIFUL. I picked this hotel for the convenience of location and other reviews that said the bathrooms were larger than most. I can confirm that the bathroom is also BEAUTIFUL and larger than most hotel bathrooms. When I return to Venice, I hope to be able to stay at this hotel again.

It is located in the main channel, next to a vaporetto station. Excellent location, and rooms looks really fancy as shown in the photos.
A bit expensive, but it seems that all Venice is quite expensive.

We always stay at Palazzo Stern as the location and price are very hard to beat. Staff are very friendly, especially Joey, who has been working there for as long as we have been staying there. Arrival by water taxi is always memorable, but there is also the convenience of the Vaparetto stop at Ca' Rezzonico right next to the hotel. The Dursoduro neighbourhood abounds with great non-touristy restaurants and a great bar in Campo Barnaba.
The breakfast service was no longer serve your self-buffet style, which was disappointing as the staff handling the waiter service struggled to meet the needs of the guests , in spite of their valiant efforts. I assume that this was a post-covid change, but I strongly urge the management to return to Buffet style. Every other one of the ten 4 and 5 star hotels that we stayed at on this trip used a buffet style breakfast. This was a pity as breakfast on the terrace by the Grand Canal is a highlight of a stay at Palazzo Stern.
