Location was perfect for my job,it was a great stay.
The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable and
the room was clean and smelled fresh.
The bathroom was clean and the shower was great.
The breakfast was superb with a good selection to choose from.
The evening meal Menu was limited but there is something for everyone
All in all a great stay.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Nothing
Dirty room, broken shower, no towels, people smoking week on premises when I was coming through with my 4 year old

Breakfast was ok. Could be better to push deadline to 11am for the late starters.
I like the extra door. Good for shutting out snoring.
No lift!!! How? With travel luggage? A hotel? Quite shocked how approval was giving for a multi-storey hotel without a lift. First extremely unpleasant experience.
Beds aren't comfy. Chair isn't comfy.

The room that we eventually got was clean and reception staff tried hard to solve our situation.
Our original room upon arriving , had a broken window handle , so couldn't shut it !
The towel holder in the bathroom was coming away from the wall .
The second night of out stay, we were up all night with what seemed a party in several rooms , which finished at 3 am!
On our 3rd morning we had a knock at our door, a unkempt young man saying he was collecting for children in need and when we asked he had no form of identity and ran from our room ! My point in this is , how was he even allowed in the hotel ?
We reported it to the reception, who said they knew who he was !
As we were departing fo our day out we then sa him hanging around the bar area !

Good location, value for money, has a bar, serves food. Very friendly staff
The mattress was very uncomfortable, could feel the springs.

The staff were very helpful, polite and professional. Good food and drink at reasonable prices.
I asked for an accessible room but initially offered one not suitable. I then got one but a couple of the aids in the bathroom not in good repair. The shower door needs repair and the toilet grab rail is loose. Plus, the toilet is too low for an accessible room, especially with a loose grab rail.

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel overall. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The hotel has plenty of parking (free to guests) and the staff were friendly and helpful. Generally we were pleased and it is great value for money based on location etc. The hotel would have scored much higher overall but for problems around breakfast though that were entirely within the hotels control but is perhaps indicative of some management issues.
Breakfast was far from satisfactory unfortunately. They encourage you to pre purchase breakfast on check in with a clear statement of what you should expect. (Which we did). When we sat down though the person next to us was complaining about a total lack of sausages and only half the advertised amount of bacon. Cooked breakfast is served to you at the table cold items are a buffet. The server apologised but could do nothing to rectify this. We had the same problem. Furthermore there was no bread available on the buffet. When we also complained the answer was “it says subject to availability on the menu”. We pressed and the response was that management often didn’t order the right amount of stock and it wasn’t uncommon for the kitchens to run out. Our stay was a Saturday and deliveries weren’t expected until Monday. So why did this spoil our stay? It’s only a bit of bacon after all? Simply put it indicates management attitudes towards guests - they are happy to upsell in the knowledge they can’t deliver and they don’t care about customer satisfaction.
Sunday we went to the Beefeater which is a short drive away. Breakfast was cheaper and far superior. We can highly recommend it and suggest you stay at the Campanile as accommodation is fine but don’t touch the breakfast.

Excellent value for money. Breakfast was good and was well worth the cost. The waitresses serving breakfast were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The reception staff were also helpful. The room was cleaned to a high standard.
The reception area is very tired and unwelcoming. I was a bit worried about the hotel when I saw it. The room decor was also a bit tired.
I was travelling with my elderly parents and the lack of a lift to the room was difficult for them.
