Beautiful periodic property with outstanding countryside views. The hospitality, cleanliness and presentation was second to none. Owners were very welcoming and gave us all the advice in the area we needed.

Breakfast is amazing, really tasty and abundant. The staff, everyone very nice and willing to help you. Alan's tips very useful to explore the area. The landscape is beautiful and the house very cozy.
You need a car if you prefer to have dinner in Tenby

Wonderful Country House in a beautiful, secluded, peaceful setting. We had a lovely four night stay, and would definitely come back again.
Nothing. Everything about it was perfect.

Spent a night at this charming old country house. A lovely room with real old world style and comfort. Alan and Jayne were great hosts and gave us a warm welcome and were kind enough to make up some breakfast rolls the next morning as we had to leave very for Skomer Island and had to miss breakfast. Highly recommend Elm Grove.
There was nothing that we did not like

We had the most amazing stay from start to finish, we got a wonderful welcome off Jane with afternoon tea and Welsh cakes and a special gift for my mother in law as it was her birthday, the rooms are stunning with luxury decor and comfortable bed with feather pillows and black out curtains guarantee a great night's sleep, room facilities offer tea, coffee and snacks, and fresh water in a carafe, bathroom well equipped with spotless fluffy towels, soaps shower gels tissues and shower cap, good powerful hairdryer too. The grounds of Elm Grove are stunning and so well maintained, surrounded by paddocks, and the choice of a chill out in the summer house or a more energetic game of pool or table tennis in the games room. The location is so tranquil and a short drive into Tenby to browse the multitude of shops. Two pubs located within walking distance from the Elm Grove offer a warm friendly atmosphere and fabulous food. We stayed for bed and breakfast at the Elm and I have to say the breakfasts were delicious with a variety of choices to suit everyone. Have to say a huge thank you to Alan and Jane for their great hospitality and making our stay so special.
Absolutely nothing , it was perfect.

love everything about the place location and hosts

Lovely and very welcoming, helpful couple. Marvelous room (we received an upgrade!), dreamy setting, kind personel that was always ready to help us out with any kind of question.
The wifi was quite poor, but that's probably not too abnormal seen the rural area we were staying in.

We had one of the attic rooms, which was super spacious, clean and comfortable.
We were also advised we had the biggest bed in the house.
The grounds are stunning. There is a games room to the back of the garden area, over near to where the horses can be seen.
Ample parking for all visitors.
Breakfast was a delight. You're shown to where your table will be, and therefore know where you're going each morning. There is a breakfast bar full of cereal, yoghurts, fruits, and more. The extremely polite and pleasant staff will greet you and take your order for a cooked breakfast too, which is the PERFECT size, not too large and not to small.
You can opt to have dinner at the property as well on specific days if you do not want to venture out.
Two local pubs in the village, we only managed to visit the Parsonage on our first night, but was a pleasant visit.
There is so much to see and do nearby, walks around Stackpole are fantastic, and a visit to Tenby too.
There is also a nearby Alpaca Trekking experience which was a huge highlight on our trip.

The property was beautiful, wonderfully historic and fantastically clean. It was fun to have a games room we could use during our stay. The hosts were absolutely superb, incredibly thoughtful, I asked for oat milk at breakfast and that afternoon they had put some in our room as well. They even gave us a large Easter egg on Easter Day! So incredibly thoughtful.
Some of the areas were a little dated and worn.

Everything.
Staff were all great
Good sized room very comfy bed and pillows
Breakfast good
Great location and quiet
Easy parking space
Loan of Picton castle pass was very nice touch - enjoyed it there
Local pub for eating was useful (pre book good idea)
These arent moans or dislikes just observations..... Shower was intermitent hot at times but not a problem.....just wait a few mins.
Felt like had to be very quiet (more so than normal) as quite a few signs saying old house so no sound proofing etc etc ... Didnt really hear anything at all but may have had guest problems in past.
Logging on every 2 hours to wifi (appreciate area / old house etc).
A longer extension lead would be useful to get hair dryer in front of mirror (partner not me :))

Excellent choices for breakfast and cooked food very nice. Room was very nice with a lovely view. Location was just right as nice and peaceful but not far from places of interest.

Beautiful small country hotel, lovely friendly staff, I would definitely stay again. It’s not big brash or modern but genteel and calming. Conveniently situated near Tenby but away from the hustle.
Can’t think of anything

Elm Grove is in an excellent location in the village of St Florence - close to Tenby but without its busy congestion. It's wonderfully comfortable and welcoming and the food is marvellous. The host, Alan, provides expert local advice on things to do in the area. The staff are top notch and very attentive. Our room was very spacious and welcoming and we won't hesitate to stay again.
Nothing to dislike at all

Location was fabulous, a lovely little village but really accessible for all of the sites and activities nearby. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the house is beautiful. We were so happy with our room and the extra games room/croquet/horses were a big bonus. Great choice for breakfast and we would love to visit again.
