Great food - both evening and breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Comfortable bed and lovely shower.
Suited my need for a good rest before traveling further.
Traffic noise from the A1, but expected as it is a motel AND I like to have a window open at night.

Beds were a little uncomfortable

Absolutely great staff, lovely, helpful.
Excellent food and staff very helpful in case of food intolerances. Nice and clean rooms. The best experience in this type of hotel.

We were really grateful for the customer service and support we received. The team's performance ( in-front house and catering, housekeeping) is absolutely of a 5 star hotel. Isaman, Dila, Rohitha, Sunil, Prince, were exceptional. We never felt our requests weren't accommodated, even more astonishing that there were times the service preceeded our requests.
Nothing really

Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was very good and with adequate selection.
The hotel is a little isolated and the bus infrequent, making a car an essential.

Cheery helpful staff, only a short stay, but room was clean and everything worked.the breakfast was also good.
Nothing to dislike.
No complaints.

the proximity to the venue we were visiting,
room wasn't ready when we arrived, we were given a room that hadn't been cleaned, so had to return to reception, this took over 1 hour to get into our room , breakfast was chaos, lots of children and no one keeping to a system, staff were very polite and helpful.

Staff were helpful and efficient.
The shower head is tooo small.
You only have one hook for towels. The room sleeps two. You are not the only hotel that makes this mistake, so do all the others.

Clean and comfortable
There was no room service for food , we had to collect food and we left empty dishes outside our room but nobody collected it till next day . We had food at 8 in the evening and left my room 9:45 for breakfast and dishes were still there. And food was very average too.
Although it has only one floor but still should have lift facility, i was pregnant and found it difficult to carry bags upstairs
Breakfast was big disappointment, very cheap quality, we bought our family members staying with us who were visiting from abroad and it was embarrassing for us to be served with such food.

The staff were amazing and helpful.
The food really wasn't good unfortunately. We didn't say anything to the waiter as he was so lovely we didn't want to offend him. It didn't matter too much, but would have made it 10/10 if the food was better

The most impressive point for this hotel was the staff. All very friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Very impressed.

Friendly staff but poor English
That we was not informed that the hotel was being used to accommodate refugees and we have to eat our meals in a separate room. The food quality was very poor for our evening meal over cooked and very dry to the extent we didn’t eat it and they offered us desserts to compensate this but we declined. Breakfast my daughter refused to have any and we again had to sit in a separate room away from the restaurant which basically was disgusting and insulting. We paid to spend a night in a hotel while we visited family expecting to have a nice evening meal and breakfast before we returned home. We were made to feel we shouldn’t have been there and that we was discriminated against for being English.

friendly staff. nice rooms
most of the hotel had been taken be asylum seekers/home office. also tv did not work, was advised of both on arrival. as the asylum seekers are full families the restaurant bar and lounge is pretty much taken, no harm in it but not comfortable. also tv not working. rooms should not be sold as a hotel when it iOS not Beijing run as a hotel. noisy until the early hours with children and families understandably after being pent up but it does not aid a good noughts sleep

The stay at the Hotel was marvelous specially the staff. Dali was very helpful. They were friendly and provided way out assistance. The room was spacious with a folding sofa. We three were accommodated properly.
The hotel is quite far away from city. The bus stop was quite far and was a long walk. The hotel can request the bus company to make a stop right at the hotel drop step, since they pass by the hotel parking.

Friendly staff, made sure we were happy at breakfast, good cleaning staff
The rooms are quite cold, windows let in wind.
With the sofa bed folded out the room is quite difficult to move around the room (I booked 2 rooms with 2 double beds as it was 1 adult and 2 children in each room and all they had was rooms with double bed and sofa bed)
Was happy with the stay but all communication has been aimed at my husband despite it being me booking and paying and my husband being the 2nd adult on the booking. Including when they called me and asked for him. This may not seem like a big deal but is quite insulting.

The staff are wonderful! Dila and Joel were especially friendly and helpful, and really went the extra mile to look after us, and the dinner (beautifully cooked by Sunil) was exceptional - in fact it was one of the best rib-eye steaks I've ever had - and excellent value for money too.
Part of the hotel is being used to house Afghani refugees while they await proper resettlement, and apart from a little noise from the younger children - who were also very smiley and sweet - the impact on our stay was only positive: we felt privileged to meet some of the people who have helped our country at such great sacrifice to themselves, and we also had a lovely, quiet separate room for breakfast, with a whole tray of nicely cooked sausages and bacon just for the two of us!
The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. We work in Canterbury regularly and will definitely be back.
The charge for parking. I know it's only £3, but there's nowhere else you can park and I think it should be included in the room rate. Charging for it separately feels a bit petty.
