Excellent 5 night stay. Comfortable bed, fridge, tea and coffee facilities in our room. Staff were attentive and extremely helpful - great breakfasts too.

We had a large comfortable room, lots of choices of pillows. Bathroom toiletries were good quality. We enjoyed using the swimming pool before we headed home. Good location for an overnight stop on a long journey. Pleasant breakfast with good choices of cereal/porridge and fruit. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only a few minor points- We couldn’t use the swimming pool when we arrived as it was a bank holiday. This wasn’t communicated when we booked. Breakfast pastries were a bit stale. When we used air conditioning there was a slight smoky smell.

All good and exceptable
The noise which sounded like a generator but because we was staying just for one night and that we was tired from a long drive we did not report this problem until the next morning . The sound also did stop at 22.30 so we was able to get some sleep

Sometimes ignorance is indeed bliss - I was expecting just another tired roadside motel, whereas this has the look of a plush (new? newly refurbished?) conference centre, with a grand staircase, wide corridors and plush hallway carpets. Was very pleasantly surprised.
4.1
Breakfast was great with superb staff inc chef. The reception staff were also really helpful
signposting around the site could have been better. Also useful to have somewhere to fill water bottles. Shower in bath was very average

As always excellent and friendly staff, clean and nice.hotel. One of.my favourites
Breakfast could be slightly cheaper or offer a coffee and toast grab breakfast

Good location for near by wedding
The inconsistency of staff when it came to being a platinum elite member and traveling with the staff.

The room we stayed in was described as an executive suite, with a king bed. This wasn't what we got. The king bed was two single beds pushed together. Therefore, it wasn't comfortable, as where the beds met in the middle, it was digging into our backs.
However, the rest of the room was great value.
Very spacious and great value. It was just a shame that we didn't get a decent night's sleep.

Room size was good. Breakfast was good.
Room was cold and bathroom was very cold. Service in restaurant in evening was slow.
4.1
Despite reservations expressed above, the location is convenient for an overnight stay, if traveling. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly, as were the restaurant staff. The quality of the food itself was reasonable. The value of the food was average, and drinks were on the expensive side. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were very adequate, clean and the bed comfortable. The value of the accommodation was good.
Located on main intersection between A1(M) and A66, so you are very restricted where you can walk, and it tends to be noisy. If you have a room to the rear of the property, there is less noise. The dinner menu was rather restricted, especially if you wanted a quality meal, and no green vegetables were offered. The menu may have been restricted due to lack of guests due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Bed was comfortable
You can hear the motorway and the room was far too hot

Excellent breakfast. Good choice and well cooked. Clean tables. Excellent staff especially Jasmin who was very helpful and her smile brightened up the dining room.
Coat hooks in the bedroom. Clothes hooks in the bathroom.

Staff were nice but needed to call 3 times to get the correct invoice sent to me.
The bed was atrocious, dipped in the middle.

Usual convenient location, easy parking
Room was at front of the hotel and there was traffic noise all night. On all the other stays we have had at this hotel we’ve had rooms at the rear which were perfect

Breakfast was nice, both continental and cooked. Plenty of choice. Lovely reception bar area.
Room was large but very dark and in need of some TLC. I lost a necklace I think in the car park if anyone has found this please contact the hotel or myself. It is white gold with a cross and has huge sentimental value. A reward will be offered.

I am EXTREMELY unhappy that there was absolutely no internet access for my total stay. One of my main reasons for staying here was for WiFi access'. I would like to understand what compensation is given for this major issue

It was a great location for visiting our son in Catterick. The breakfast was lovely. Catered for vegetarians too which was a bonus!
Our bathroom had dried on urine splattered on the floor.
