Well appointed house in perfect location. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Overlooking Dutchies beach, a short walk via a bayside path to town. Host was very responsive to questions.

From the minute you walk in you are relaxed! Beautiful location and beautiful place for our family to stay, we had everything there we needed.

Fantastic location away from all the tourists in town. Lots of space for everyone. We'll be booking this home again.

Nice house in a lovely area but lots of dust, couldn't get wifi working and had to change the batteries to get the TV working. Don't publish this, just pass the advice on to the owner.

Good location & beach access.Very difficult parking. Lacked attention to detail and provision of basic consumables. Disparity between Stayz and host confirmation of booking dates which was difficult to resolve. Website misleading as advertised to sleep 10 but above 6/8 had extra charges.

This home is in a fabulous location, close to the beach and is very well presented.
The only drawback to this property is the extremely steep driveway down to the house. We parked our vehicles on the street as we weren’t confident driving down.
Overall though an excellent place for a large group or family to relax.

Owners need to check that everything is in line with the property description. Not rely on handyman or cleaners.
Happy to advise some issues that were lacking.

Was a great house with a great location. The steep driveway was a little tricky to navigate so we just parked on the road. Quick stroll to a nice calm beach. The property seemed clean enough and well-kept. Unfortunately we could not get one of the TVs to work.

This is a beautifully spacious house in a perfect location for exploring the local area or sitting on the deck listening to the birds. Great for adults and children alike. We'll definitely be back.

Great house, some of the kitchen supplies were lacking, e.g., no dishwashing liquid or cloth, no oil, very little toilet paper and not a great range of bowls, etc but generally, the house was very good and a enjoyable place to saty.

This property has Wow factor with location to a beautiful beach/bay great for kids. House was spacious and comfortable. Stairs and driveway could be a problem if anyone had knee issues however the exercise was welcomed. Mariner and shops just a short drive. Host was very easy to contact and very accommodating. We also had a fabulous view of News Years Eve Fireworks from our balcony! Our group all had a fabulous few days. Thanks Sharon!

We had a wonderful stay with friends. The house has wonderful views above Dutchman’s beach. Access to the beach is a short walk away. The home was very clean and had all we needed including two fridges. The driveway is very steep and not suitable for elderly people and road parking is tight. Overall, it was a wonderful holiday home with superb views.

Lovely outlook.
Would recommend.

We loved our stay!!! The house was perfect for a group and a top holiday rental. Dutchmans beach is an idyllic spot, we loved the 1km walk to Nelson bay along the path and also the many playgrounds and outdoor gyms along th3 same path.
The house was spacious and well equipped. I especially loved the two fridges and lots of storage space for all the food we bought with us (a rare commodity as many holiday rentals can be cluttered with personal items and previous peoples food).
Sharon was responsive and accomodating.
We would love to come back.

A beautiful spot. Saw dolphins in the water from the verandah one morning. Plenty big enough for 2 families. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Can walk into Nelson Bay around the headland. Very quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful home, close to beach and bike tracks. So private and quiet. Lovely escape from the city. Just need to stay longer in future.

Property was great position and outlook.
Cleanliness needs to be addressed- dust on fans & other items as well as external spiderwebs need to be addressed.
External chair broken & milk warmer in coffee machine not working.
Access was difficult as locks were not working properly & we had to let alarm activate to enter property.
As a group of seniors it was not appropriate to ask us to take bins up a slippery and steep driveway to avoid excess cleaning charges.

Had a great time but there is room for improvement
The driveway is too steep to access without scraping the bottom of the car and the lock on the front door was very hard to open. The house was generally clean but a bit tired. The beds were all very comfortable and the house is spacious, ideal for the whole family. The BBQ was filthy and the jets were blocked they really should replace it. Also I think small toiletries should be supplied at this price. Lots of wildlife to entertain though steep access to beach and not walkable distance to shops etc. We did enjoy the view and the serenity and had a good time.

Great getaway
My sisters and I have a week away together every year. This home was perfect. Great views of the water. Beautiful home. Having 5 bedrooms meant no one had to double up.

Dutchies holiday
The generous proportions of this beautiful, modern property gave the six adults plenty of space to relax separately or congregate together on the balcony overlooking the magnificent Dutchman’s Bay. There was easy access to the water and walking tracks. We would recommend this property and would definitely return.

Comfortable stay for a group of friends
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nelson Bay, with an easy walk into town, amazing views, comfortable beds and plenty of room for our group of 5 ladies, the property was ideal. The weather for our stay was not great but Dutchies House provided us with warmth and comfort to while the hours away. Thanks again.

1. Screen door on balcony needs repair as itself locks and we were locked out twice on the top balcony. Luckily had left laundry door open. Not sure what we would have done otherwise as it was afterhours. I guess we could have pulled the screen out of the door, but suggest fixed asap.2. Glass surrounds on balcony filthy. 3. Walls in various rooms dirty. 4. Light bulb needs replacing on roof of balcony - light closest to lounge room.5. Lots of cobwebs not cleared away. 6. I’m mentioning the cleaning because we like others have paid big cleaning fees but cleaning low standard and seems that not used for a big clean between bookings as it should be. 7. loved the birds that visited - suggestion to have a plastic cover over the table and chairs to stop birds poopingHowever, we had a wonderful time - fantastic to have 5 bedrooms, loved the huge lounge rooms, facilities were great and kitchen well stocked with plates etc.
