A little old building

Big and spacious rooms. Next to the beach. 15-20 mins walk to Sopot pier and centre.
Unfriendly staff, cleaning lady always grumpy. Bad cleaning. Balcony not nice.

Don't be thrown off by the shabby outside of what is a great looking modernist villa in the style of 1930's Gdynia. Inside the rooms are spotless and brand new as is the restaurant. Even the rooms that are not sea facing give you a glimpse of the beach and they all open onto a lovely old park where the only distraction are the cars parked below. But no concrete, just pines and other old trees. Restaurant serves an OK buffet brekafast but you can probably get better value by gettung just the room and then doing an a la carte breakfast with some of the tasty stuff that is on the menu but not included in the buffet. The hotel is basically on the beachfront, spearated just by a path and bike path that runs along the whole tricity beach front, you can go barefoot from hotel to beach. And the beach - well this is the sublime sand that makes the Polish coast so unique. The sea itself is cold - locals and any northeners will go in, if you're looking for Med temperatures this isn't the place. All the boozy, clubby, hip attractions of Sopot are a short walk away - sufficiently close so that it's not difficult to reach but far enough so you don't get the noise. Also, check out the quaint houses of the original fishing village which are just around the back of the hotel. The several fishing boats that still operate out of Sopot are also based here so if you get up at 7 a.m. you can watch the fishermen haul in the catch of the day and see them selling the fresh fish in their stall.
Give the exterior a lick of paint and it's all set. Or better don't as it makes it more of a hidden gem.

Great location by sea, good quality of renovated rooms and good breakfast + helpful staff

Friendly staff and very clean room. Everything i need is all prepared in the room.
Just a small thing: the bathroom sink is too small for use.

The service
4.1
Location was very good, a short walk to Sopot and seconds to the beach. The food was varied and good, ample parking available.
Nothing really, the hotel looks much better inside than outside, very comfortable.

location to beach, good parking, nice rooms
bar closed at 21:00 but there was others close by
4.1
The location was perfect, on the beach. The bed was very comfortable and there was no problem when I asked for 2 extra pillows. Breakfast paid extra , "a'la card", was very tasty.
During the hot weather the lack of air-conditioning was rather difficult.
4.1
Very clean, friendly staff. Good parking. Very good location
Breakfast never ready at 0730 when it starts. The restaurant is a bit chaotic, a lot of staff running around, takes for ever to get service. Food is only ok.
4.1
Location is perfect. Right on the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas available for guests. Great restaurant and bar on premises with sea view. Sea visible from most rooms with balconies. Close to city center.
No air conditioning

The location is great and the rooms are nicely furnished.
We paid in advance and still had a pending transaction for the same amount taken from my account. It’s a good job this was not my spending money.
On arrival, I was charged 90 PLN for parking even though I had no vehicle with me. I was first told this was for “climate tax” but luckily my partner is a Polish National and identified the error.
The lock on our door was faulty and was left unsecured when we went out on our first evening, we then were locked out of our room when we checked the door mechanism, something the staff were already aware of.
The bathroom sink was missing a plug which emitted a foul smell from the drain and the shower is only half enclosed, leaving a pool of water on the floor.
We were told that we would have some form of compensation but this didn’t materialise. We will not return here.
