Absolutely everything!! The informative driver who picked us up at the ferry dock; the warm welcome and caring, professional tour of the facilities; the staff who took our luggage to our rooms, cleaned and replaced used towels multiple times a day; caring and attentive staff around the pool and in the restaurant.
Impossibly breathtaking view from our bed, the pool, and restaurant.
Gorgeous suite!
Beautiful decor!
Exquisite breakfasts and dinner!
Perfectly made cocktails and drinks in general!
The obvious desire to make this one of the best experiences ever. And they more than succeeded!
The only complaint we have is that we weren't able to stay longer! This is a dream experience that everyone should have at least once in their lives. We were made to feel so very special. Definitely a 12/10!!

Staff were exceptional. The location is great, om the outskirts of Oia and writhing easy walk of the Centre. Breakfast was fantastic. The suite was spacious and traditional. Views are unbeatable!
The ceilings are fairly low in the suite in parts (we are both quite tall) and the mirror was very low in the bathroom so you had to crouch a bit! The bed was comfortable but on a traditional stone plank and one person had to climb over the other in the night if they needed to get up. All small things - overall it was superb!

Classic timeless hotel with incredible service and views of Oia and the caldera. Privacy and very comfortable suites. The staff is extremely kind and helps you find the perfect places to rest and relax.
Nothing, everything was perfect! Highly recommend.

The employees in the restaurant are exceptional and truly made the experience at the hotel wonderful. They were so welcoming and genuinely kind that it made me want to just stay at the hotel! Also, the views are of course, stunning, but another plus for me is that the hotel is located far enough away from loud music/bars in Oia that you don’t hear it from your room, but still within walking distance of everything.
Not really a big negative, and it’s not something that would affect anyone’s stay, but something I didn’t like was that the room was a bit lacking in what I would consider basic amenities. Our room was charming in decor, and I understand the need to maintain the traditional style, but there was limited space for storing items like toiletries and there was only one small mirror in the bathroom that was set at torso height. It would’ve been nice maybe for the cabinet space below the sink to be accessible to guests (ours had cleaning supplies in it) and an additional mirror in the room.

Breakfast was incredible. The view from the room was breathtaking, throughout the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The entire experience was flawless, up until the checkout day. We were asked to leave while eating breakfast as our transfer to the ferry was already here (we still ended up waiting an hour at the dock). It would have been nice for them to give us some heads up, perhaps the evening before.

The location is stunning. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Complimentary collection/ drop off.
Very expensive drinks and snacks - we just couldn’t justify them which I feel took from our experience as we ended up popping to a local shop and eating crops and chocolate!

Staff were a little dull and furniture and amenities in room were tired and outdated

To sum up the perivolas experience in one word it would have be ‘fairytale’. This truly was a small piece of paradise in the beautiful setting of Oia. We traveled during the beginning of May, which we now know for sure means its a roll of the dice for weather. You may get lucky some days and have sun, you may get rain, you will for indubitably get clouds and wind, just how often and how long on each is up for debate.
From the moment we arrived to Perivolas (may 1st, the very first day of their season), we were treated with the upmost respect and helpfulness. All of the staff who work on the property take great pride in working for perivolas, and they all tried their hardest to ensure we had a nice time. We got a free upgrade to the suite with private outdoor hot tub (jacuzzi) which was an incredibly nice touch with some the cold weather. Yes, the jacuzzi was warm enough and enjoyable to be inside of even in the cold weather. We experienced a different reality with another ‘5-star’ resort on another island, but rest assured the upgraded luxury at Perivolas was very well worth it.
We did the couples massage treatment and enjoyed it fully, definitely worth the money. The food, breakfast and lunch were all stellar, although we did not eat dinner in the hotel.
They truly try to provide a world class 5-star experience at every turn.
Every night we walked into Oia and walked past the countless other suite and private pool hotels and villas along the path yet we did not see a single location that looked better than perivolas.
In summary, any time we come back to Santorini this is where we will be staying. If my mother asked me where to stay on the island I would recommend perivolas, which is not something I would do with some of the other “5-star” resorts and hotels in Greece. This was truly an end-to-end 5 star experience and we are already looking forward to planning out next Perivolas fairytale.
The sauna was not very hot and seemed a bit dated, which stood out because literally everything other thing on the property was stellar. This was a very minor detail, the steam room was excellent so we spent most of our spa time in there instead.

absolutely stunning. location was brilliant. service was fantastic. We had one of our best holidays staying here. next time we will certainly be staying for longer.
Julia (restaurant staff) was brilliant. she made us feel so welcome everyday. nothing was too much to ask and it really made us enjoy our stay.
The added bonus of the super cute kittens and cats joining us on our balcony was amazing!

For our honeymoon, my wife and I did a Mediterranean tour, which included luxury hotels in the Amalfi coast and other Greek Islands. Perivolas was the absolute highlight of our trip, and ended up being how we measured other 5 star hotels.
Nothing.

Amazing hotel and stuff

Stayed in different hotels in Oia and Perivolas is the best choice. It has most greens and vegetation which make temperature lovely in area. One of few hotels here where you can see sunset into the sea from your room patio. One of few where they have more sunbeds than people. Very pleasant staff.

Interesting property - with wonderful cliffside views of Oia but slightly away from the madness of the town in July. The room was large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant in the evening - which was lovely. Nice food with lovely views.
The spa was a little disappointing. The massages were very expensive and we have experienced must better for a lot less in other places.

The room and the hotel were amazing. the staff were so attentive and friendly which made the stay really enjoyable. Even though the hotel was full it never felt that you could not find a sun lounger or a place for breakfast or dinner. The dinner Experian for two was really good and one of the dishes was probably one of the best meal I have had in a long time if ever. such a special place and seemed to be away from the hustle and bustle.
There was nothing I did not like but I think if you were elderly and had mobility issues this is not the place but I think that applies to all of Santorini in general.

The staff was excellent with service and organisation and the views were amazing from everywhere in the hotel, including the terrace, the restaurant, and the infinity pool. Food was good, particularly at dinner. The gym was good size for a European hotel and the lap pool was nice. Location also excellent - around 7-10 mins walk from the main village, close to a grocery store, etc.
For this price point, the room needs to be modernised (furnishings, bed, fridge, no rain shower in bathroom, etc). In addition, one small window in the bedroom had no shutter/curtain/blind so it let in a lot of light into the bedroom from early in the morning.
