Pleasant staff. Good restaurant.
Room was dusty. Bathroom fittings very tired and not working well

The room was amazing and very spacious
It was all good

Excellent location for canal walkers like us - it’s about a mile (20 minutes) to Skipton itself. Comfortable and clean (room 501) everything fine really. Didn’t use the bar or have food so cannot comment here.
A little pricey especially without breakfast included. On the road side there is a good bit of noise especially with the window open, so if you’re a light sleeper try and book and the canal side. Bit of a maze with lots of doors inside.

Good location….food was ok
Had to have the toilet cleaned on arrival it was still soiled…..overall it was run down.. quite shabby won’t be recommending or revisiting!!!

Location was good, lovely walk along canal side into Skipton.
Food was excellent

Good location nice walk along the tow path into Skipton
A bit dated needs modernising.

Nice facilities, very spacious room and bathroom. Great view from the room. Room had a lot of natural light and also blackout curtains if you want to have complete blackout in the room when sleeping.
Parking was a bit problematic as the spaces are quite small for each car and it is very difficult to get in and out of the car....
Also, walls a a bit thin and can hear everything that people say/do in the other rooms...

The bedroom was a good size. King size bed good and didn’t make the room look small. Biscuits with tea and coffee in the room very nice touch. Use of the leisure centre was great. Breakfast was included and lots on offer hot and cold.
There was a tissue box on the wall in the bathroom nice, but it was empty not been filled by room service. We had afternoon tea on the balcony lovely. Not enough options in sarnies received ham and tuna that was like tuna paste. Cakes lovely.

The location and the staff.
The hotel needs a deep clean. The carpets were very dirty and the doors and surfaces were dusty.

Quick 20 min beautiful scenery walk on the canal into Skipton..
Outdated and there was a smell I didn’t like .

Lovely hotel. Enjoyed the views and the balcony in the bar. The room was very spacious and clean. Nice breakfast in the conservatory by the canal, that was lovely.
Paid extra for a studio room, wasnt much nicer than the standard rooms really, not worth payig the extra price for.

Only stopped for one night. Service was great, no waiting around. General cleanliness was good, staff courteous and free car parking.

Our room backed onto the canal so when we opened the curtains we could see barges, geese & sheep.
Leisure club facilities could do with a bit of renovation.

The staff were tremendous and massive help ! I would like to give Jack a shout out as he went above and beyond to meet our needs and he didn't make me feel like we was too much hassle once !
We were a young couple We made use of the gym facilities also and they were great and even the locals in there were really friendly ! Will be coming here again very soon !
The location is great i know it seems like your far out of Skipton but its around a 20 minute walk and its really nice the scenery is beautiful !

breakfast was well organised and the view was spectacular. Room was very large and comfortable and a lighting issue was sorted quickly. car parking was plentiful.
Can't think of anything

Location besides the Leeds Liverpool canal is great. our room overlooked the canal and farmers fields which had lambs, sheep and rabbits running around early evening. There were duckling and goslings and swans on the canal so a great time to visit.
My only complaint was they overcharged me on check out dated 17th May which they agreed they had but still awaiting a refund 6 days after. Need to chase them again but shouldn’t have to as they admitted there mistake.

You booked the time slot for breakfast which was excellent. No waiting and the staff were prompt for providing tea, coffee and toast. The food was self-service, cooked very nice, was hot and a good choice. Very happy.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely warm atmosphere. Also there is a bus stop right outside the hotel which ran on a regular basis to Skipton and Keighley.
We had canal view which was beautiful but the seal on the double glazed windows had detoriated and were clouded over. I am nip picking cos overall the hotel was lovely.
3.9
Breakfast was excellent
The swimming pool
The canal view was great
The room was a little 'tired' in places, e.g window frames
3.9
Spacious room, clean and fairly comfortable. The fitness/swimming facilities were good. There was not much noise from within the hotel (but some from the car park). Having a bidet was good.
The smoke alarm went off twice, once after we had gone to bed. We never smoke, and there was no steam from the bathroom, so we have no idea why it went off.
The canalside location is nice but it is quite a long walk into town and apart from Aldi there is not much nearby.
The bathroom was large, but the bath small, and some shelves etc to put things on would be helpful.
There is not much natural ventilation, and we had to keep the blinds closed to avoid the room becoming too hot.
3.9
Gluten free options well catered for.
Waking up to canal boats at breakfast
Bed uncomfortable.
3.9
The breakfast was very good. Plenty of choices. very friendly and helpful staff. We had an amazing evening meal.
Nothing. We really enjoyed our visit
3.9
location, breakfast was fab,
leisure suite very tired too many non Hoyle guests making it busy and pretty unusable
evening meal choice lacking
3.9
Great location, good breakfast and very good service.
The bed was firm which we slept well on and the shower was very hot and powerful. Downside was the fan wasn’t strong enough for the steam so the bathroom was drenched after a shower!
The hotel in general is dated, and does need to be brought up to date.
3.9
Beautiful comfy beds.and exallent staff nothing was to much trouble.
Not been able to check in till 4pm .then check out at 10am next morning. Should be able to check in at 2PM would be better for what you pay .
