A convenient stopover that met our needs when travelling through France.

Very easy to find and plenty of parking. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Staff were courteous and helpful.

We arrived earlier than expected but reception didn’t open until 5:30 so a delay in checking in. The room was pretty basic albeit clean and adequate.

Bon séjour malgré le petit désagrément ci dessus

le calme des lieux et le buffet du petit déjeuné

Le lavabo bouché de la salle de bain qui n'arrive pas a s'écouler , ainsi que des odeurs d'égouts ; cela fait plusieurs fois que nous venons dans cet hôtel et ce problème est récurent . Un bon nettoyage des canalisations s'impose .

Good location for an overnight stay, would stay again.

The evening meal and the breakfast were excellent. Overall the room met our expectations, but probably the property is in need of an upgrade.

The property was looking a bit tired, for example the walkways. Good to have a kettle but no provision of either coffee or tea to go with it!

Good stopover location which suits us well.

Good location, easy parking, good dinner and breakfast options. Friendly and efficient staff. We have often stayed here as a convenient stopover when travelling.

Not specific to this property but Campanile has certainly become much more expensive now, especially as the rooms are basic (as they always have been) and although some hotels have been upgraded, others could do with an update! You used to know exactly what to expect - it’s a bit hit and miss now.

Value for money

Good value for money. Good location as there was a direct bus service available into Tours city centre. Excellent restaurant service. Also there was a lake nearby for a pleasant walk before or after dinner.

I would have preferred a softer mattress in the accommodation.

English speaking receptionist was lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was good and most of evening meal was good.

Bed was uncomfortable- too firm. Shower was broken and water leaked under the 2cm gap between bottom of shower screen and bath. Fish for dinner was like a piece of cardboard.

Peaceful night's sleep

Quiet location. Basic but comfortable room for a one night stay when travelling further. Pleasant staff.

Restaurant dinner was poor. Not recommended.

The location was very good. The breakfast was very good. The dinner was expensive for not very good food

The bedroom was very small. The bed not comfortable. The mattress was a poor standard and the toilet in the bathroom was of an unacceptable low height

Nice hotel, spoilt by biking tour taking over car park!

Nice room, if a bit small. But clean. Perfect location, especially if you have a dog. Restaurant also nice. Breakfast buffet really nice.

There was a cycling team there that took up a lot of the car park. Which meant we could not park near our room. Plus the car park was flooded where they were cleaning the bikes. Electric cables & hoses right across the car park the whole time. Not very health and safety!! Evening buffet a bit odd. A lot if mixed dishes but salad was lettuce leaves, no tomatoes or cucumber.

Location is great, just off the motorway and surrounded by shops and garages. Also a great choice of eateries nearby.

Artistic licence in their advertising photos. Not what I was expecting and would be great value at half the price.

We asked for a superior room which we thought would have a small fridge. Also there was a kettle but no cups or coffee or tea.

A great convenient place to stay.

Breakfast was good with good variety of buffet Great shower and very friendly staff. The lady on reception at 7pm was brilliant.

Evening meal was great but a bit pricey.

Comfortable and quiet.

Breakfast good room a little too warm but no able to adjust temperature (thermostat not working?). Staff courteous and organized.

Good location with a restaurant, fast food options and a supermarket nearby (walking distance). Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Although the room description has air conditioning, there was none. Turns out the property does not turn on central AC in all the rooms until summer time so the room was too hot. The rooms were also much smaller than expected (they appear bigger in the photos).
