The Staff were lovely and helpful
We were booked in for 16 nights and only stayed 5 night. It is a hotel we have always wished to stay in because of the view and the beautiful beach. Pictures of the hotel and rooms on the website are out of date. The rooms were clean but tired , I think the complex is badly in need of maintenance, our entrance door lock had to be fixed twice as unable to lock. The staff were very helpful but I think general ongoing maintenance would help avoid these problems. The picture showed lovely relaxing chairs on the balcony however when we got there there was only two old wooden chairs to sit on and very uncomfortable we asked for them to be changed to the ones shown on the website which they did replace however with two more old wooden upright chairs

We absolutely adored our stay here! The location is absolutely beautiful with warm water. The beach is coral on one half - take care not to kick it and hurt yourself or to stand/kick it and break it - and sandy on the other half. This provides the perfect opportunity to swim and snorkel! The hotel provides the opportunity to rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards and snorkel gear.
The restaurant on the beach front is so beautiful as well. We had one small breakfast here, we got the fruit bowl and it was quite small and expensive but it was delicious.
The rooms is nice and spacious, the AC is a life saver as is the fridge - to keep water cold. Soap and shampoo are provided as well. There's a safe in the room which is appreciated for peace of mind. There is a smart TV, we did watch part of a show one night so this was a nice touch we didn't anticipate using.
The location is probably the absolute best part of this hotel. It is quite close to Lamai - 2km. We rented a motorbike and got to everywhere we wanted to be within 10 minutes, usually. If you are not renting a motorbike then I'm sure taxis are available. The hotel can rent the bike for you and there is also Mr.Pongs motorbike rental just around the corner. They were great, we rented through them because the hotels provider didn't have the bike we were looking for available at the time. So you have a pretty central location and it's off a main road, yet somehow you cannot hear the road from the resort. The have fountains and trees with birds during the day, at night the frogs and crickets come out. It's a complete escape. I would expect to need to be more remote for such an experience. It was so calm and peaceful. I'm not sure that pictures do it justice, it was even better than I'd hoped.
And the staff at the hotel are very kind and helpful. We got help with laundry, tour booking, motorcycle booking, everything and anything.
Rentals for beach chairs/paddle boards/kayaks/snorkel gear are available but not included in the accodation price - although we never asked to confirm this. It would be nice to have some credit for it or have them included in the room.
The water next to walkways with fish were gorgeous but quite dirty. Also there are mosquitoes as a result - which is no issue with bug spray, so just plan for that.
No hose to rinse off feet before entering the room at our room. Couldn't find a public one.
Coconuts were double-triple the price you can find in Lamai :(

Loved the tranquility of the place, the beach is beautiful and the cabanas are just few meters away. Accommodation was spacious, the bed was really comfortable. Few restaurants walking distance. Great location to stay away from the crowds.
Not much, we could have easily stayed longer!

Beautiful location. Great value for money

Gave a real tropical vibe which we loved
Slight stench that came out after we showered.
3.8
The crystal clear warm water in the bay, the beach and the thatched huts to relax in.
The general communal areas were in need of some paint, some repair and some housekeeping. Broken steps all the way up the Hillside villas, and the temperature of the pool was ridulously HOT at all times, making it uncomfortable to swim when it's hotter IN the pool that OUT of it.

The sight from our bungalow was nice.
The staff were not very friendly and the Service was unsatisfactory. Also the food - breakfast, starters and dinner - was terrible, especially in comparison to what we had experienced so far during our travels in Thailand. Also the bungalow was not decorated in a very home-feeling way.

We had another 2 nights booked here on separate booking, same type of room and staff has made it nice and easy. Amazing here!!!! Right by the sea, on one of the most beautiful beaches in Samui, if not the best. You could see the sea from the porch. Big size room, really comfy bed and really plesantly atmosphere altogether, laid back and felt like in paradise. It had the island vibe we were after, but occidental comfort. Staff really helpful. We arranged taxi from Nothan Pier and back with hotel prior to arriving. Taxi driver was really plesant and friendly and I cannot praise them enough. I would use them again when I come back to the Island. Island is gorgeous, first time visiting but if we come back we would love to stay again here as it was amazing. Just paradise. And worth all the money and even more
It was rainging when we got there but that's nobody's fault and I guess it added to the charm and the experience. And we had a ghecko visiting our room in a night :))) We didn't inform staff to be fair, as again we took it as it was, island charm, and they're harmless if I understood correctly. Poor thing ran away outside from us anyway

Clean spacious room which was quiet, breakfast choice between local and western food - was good and beast beach on the island
Gardens needed more care which i suppose they were working on and litter needs to be picked up

Good location great in evening or early in the morning. Very small beach, we had a beachfront bungalow so be prepared for lots of people from about 10 till 6 everyday. We had a few issues with non guests sitting on our sun loungers and balcony, was very annoying.
Restaurant was terrible had breakfast on our first day and never went back! Staff are rude and unhelpful. Don’t even bother. Was over charged, this was rectified but had to ask to speak to the manager. The place could do with a make over, we paid over £100 per night, and from what we saw you could get a better place for this.

Location, bed was comfortable, rooms were kept clean, by maid service.
Better cushion on new chairs, need new curtains in rooms , some were torn and dirty. Need some maintenance in rooms!, Better shelve sfor luggage to sit on. Could use a couple of outdoor showers for guests to use

Amazing location. Amazing staff. Loved it!
Big snake in garden near villa! Living with the locals! Haha! Shower was cold for 2 of our 4 days there, but luckily the weather was so good it didn't matter.

The ‘superior garden villa’ I stayed at was quite spacious and bright and very close to the beachfront. There were no insects, spiders etc and the birds tweeting at sunrise were lovely.
I stayed at Crystal Bay for two nights, and at Fisherman’s Village for another two, so it was a good combination of quiet and more lively parts of the island.
None.

run down. bad internet. staff were not interested. poor facilities. smell

The location is great. I would say the best beach on the island and I've been to Koh Samui over 10 times. You do need a scooter or a car as there is nothing on the road behind the bay. The garden is lovely and green, the restaurant offers nice food. Good pool. Bungalows are roomy.
This place has soooo much potential. But I needed a few days to overcome my dissapointment because of the price compared to the neglect of maintainance. The paths were broken, things just needed a good clean up (in some corners and pools just a mess) and a bit of paint.
3.8
The beach was very small and quite crowded and the hotel was not close to any shops or cafes ..
3.8
a lovely cove with a nice beach. A good restaurant and bar, a nice pool area and a great Thai massage centre. The prices are quite reasonable. very good staff as well.
bearing in mind that it is a three star property and that they have mostly been closed down for two years, it is very run down and scruffy. there are signs that as things pick up improvements will be made. the paths throughout the village are full of lumps and bumps that are easy to trip over especially at night and are murder on suitcase wheels. it would be nice to have a phone to call reception as there is no communication for assistance. Only cold water sink did not help either.
3.8
location , staff , security man , restaurant is very tasy , beach
water pressure , little far from the city.

very spacious with an excellent location
could of done with some minor touch ups and abit of TLC

The resort with its lovely bungalows is located in a beautiful secluded bay. The bungalows are very spaceous and clean and the resort also offers a really nice pool and plenty of sunbeds on both beach and pool. The food and drink menu of the restaurant is amazing, such great food (thai and western food available).
Unfortunately the staff is not very helpful or friendly. It was my second stay, first time 2019 and back then I had a wonderful stay. But it seems like the professionalism and kindness has gone lost since then. Reception was quite rude/short at the check in and didn’t make us feel
welcome. Later when we asked for a taxi to the airport at check out, they said they couldn’t help us - I think this was the first time in my life that a hotel couldn’t call a taxi for me. Also the waiters at the restaurant are really slow and unmotivated.

Absolutely nothing.
This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever visited. The pictures advertised must be 10+ years old because it looks nothing like this. We felt so disgusted with what we saw that we cancelled our booking and left after checking in. The location was terrible, the grounds of the hotel have no maintenance, we had to walk through sewage water to get to the room, and the room itself was appalling! The room was disgusting with stains, mould, cracks, broken tiles etc. See the photos attached to see just how bad this is.
