Overall a nice hotel in a good and quiet location,, would stay again!

Room was very clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and thankfully the air-con worked a treat as it was very hot during our stay. Wi-Fi was fairly decent and had a good range around the hotel area. All the staff were friendly and helpful even though some of them didn't speak much English, they still understood what was asked etc.

Was a shame that some of the breakfast options weren't as good as some others on offer, for example the coffee was just sachets of instant and the toast making appliances were awkward to use and incredibly slow to toast any bread. No air-con was turned on in any other parts of the hotel, so when leaving your room it was noticeably much warmer inside but I guess it's to save running cost which is understandable. Also there was no English speaking channels on the room TV/Radio which is the first time I've come across that when staying at international hotels, so just a bit surprising.

Super nice hotel, perfect to relax, close to the town of Altea

This hotel is like a small paradise next to Altea, one of my favourite Costa Blanc towns. I especially liked that it was a very idyllic location, perfect for relaxing, but also within walking distance of the town. The restaurant at the hotel is also of really good quality and only 23 euros for a 3-course menu. Definitely recommend.

Mould in room and very poor breakfast organisation, we won’t return.

Our first room had a damp problem with mould on the ceiling and strong smell, also the wifi wasn’t strong. we changed rooms next day. Breakfast was overrun with food running out and no staff attending on the first morning, the same the second morning a huge table had been set in the breakfast room with all the fewer small tables all taken or dirty and used so we sat on the end of the huge table only to be forcibly moved by an abrupt and rude staff member, this huge table was obviously reserved for someone else but we weren’t told nor did it have any signs forbidding us to use it, the whole thing was very embarrassing.

No water or drinks available outside bar hours or water in the fridge No facilities to make a drink No paper or pen No instructions or information in the room at all Air con was not working to heat the room.Obviously temperatures operated from reception/office No cosey bar area,sofas would have been better than metal tables and chairs

A hidden oasis

The hotel is uphill and quite isolated from the touristic area. Great views and swimming pool. Everything necessary at breakfast and GOOD COFFEE. The restaurant is simple but pretty good, great mojitos! Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking.

By the pool can be pretty loud when many kids are around, and there’s no isolated quieter area.

An overnight stay wasn’t long enough at this beautiful hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Extremely comfortable rooms. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent - great choice and quality.

Set in a rural location on the outskirts of the old city , from arrival to departure we were greeted by friendly smiling staff. Exceptional clean & tidy throughout the complex, we opted for the buffet breakfast which was sufficient for our needs & made use of the main restaurant for a evening meal which was delicious

The walk into the old city for mobility challenged individuals requires a walk up a very steep driveway

Lovely hotel in quiet setting within walking distance to Altea main square and church

The setting is lovely with a large pool area and gardens. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is quiet with friendly staff. Breakfast outside is a nice touch with a good variety.

The only negative is the road and slope when returning to the hotel after dark. After leaving the main road the access is poorly lit and then the ramp is steep and in the dark it creates a safety hazard for my elderly parents.

lovely traditional hotel

This is a 300:year old property which is a converted olive oil mill. We love the old traditional Spanish architecture and furnishings. The staff are very pleasant, and most speak English. The hotel is very convenient, as it is close to the old town, which we walked to every evening to visit the many restaurants there. The shortest lane to the old town is unlit, and it took us about 15 minutes. There is a steep slope up to this road, so it may not suit everyone, though there is a longer, flatter route, which would take around 30 minutes (again, unlit)

Nothing to dislike, apart from a derelict property next door, which seems to be occupied by squatters. it did not spoil our stay at all.
