Everything was great!!!
Nothing

The only good thing about this place is the decoration and furnishing.
The service, the attitude, the breakfast, it was empty, only one other guest, and now I know the reason, overpriced, can’t provide the service to match the standard they think they are.

Great hotel, staff amazing, the massage lady that they have is fantastic. The breakfast is very nice. To the city center it is a 25 min walk.

This stylish, boutique hotel is gorgeous. Everywhere you look there is something interesting to take in and photograph. It's on the outskirts of town, slightly up a hill, so the view from the charming breakfast room is incredible. We loved every detail of the decor, and the staff were so kind and friendly. Lovely, spacious room, impeccably clean, so quiet, and with an incredible bathroom.
Nothing! We chose this hotel precisely because it's not in the middle of town. We were arriving from the North, just staying over one night in Salta on the way back to the airport, so it was perfect for us since we had a rental car and didn't want to take it into the city, but be aware that you will need a car or taxi if you're planning to go into the centre of Salta from here.

The hotel is absolutely charming and beautiful. The attention to detail is magnificent and the staff is top notch. The staff made sure to be ready and stay late for our delayed arrival.
There were some maintenance issues: the family room sofa bed sagged, the air conditioner spit and dripped water and the floor boards in the upstairs bathroom were so warped that you couldn’t close the door all the way. Also, the breakfast buffet was laid out in front of the windows, sweating the meat and cheese and curdling the milk. During summer, the food needs to be put on cold servers and covered. Despite the small snafus, I would absolutely stay there again.

It was beautiful and well located.
Our room was next to the breakfast room so it was a little noisy early in the morning.

the location, not a lot of things to do around if you don’t have a car

Gorgeous hotel in a residential and quiet area. The swimming pool was a nice treat in a hot town. The mattress was fantastic!

Beautiful property, wonderfully decorated room excellent breakfast all freshly prepared. Helpful and kind staff. The pool looked lovely although we did not use it
WARNING: for foreign travellers, if you are intending to pay in cash at this property in order to access the blue dollar rate we’d recommend not staying. We had a preauthorisation charge added to our card although we asked to pay in cash. This put a hold of over £100 on our account meaning the money could not be used. We asked the hotel to release the funds once we had also paid in cash but they did not seem to be able to resolve the issue despite repeated messages over several weeks. It took over 20 days for the funds to be released which is quite inconvenient when travelling long term. The hotel assured us they were doing everything they could but this experience left us disappointed overall

Only can agree to the raving positive reviews that were given here before - definitely recommend! Kkala Boutique Hotel is simply beautiful: Great, elegant, special boutique hotel design, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful small pool area in a lush garden setting, awesome views from the balconies and windows. If you are booking in advance, ask for a room in the top floor for the great views, we loved it!!! Stayed as family, but also for couples it would be beautiful and romantic! Breakfast was also very good. The price for a room is extremely high compared to the general price levels in Argentina, but for us it was worth it. Location: It is not central but in a quiet, nice neighbourhood in Salta - perfect, if you are looking for a calm place to stay. It was also easy & economic to take a taxi ("remis") to the city center. We were very happy with our choice to stay here!
Although everyone was in general very nice and attentive, in comparison to all the other super-friendly employees the service and cordialness of one lady at reception could be improved - gave misleading information about when laundry is going to be ready (had to ask ourselves for it several times, ... she informed it would be delivered to the room shortly, but this never happened, had to go search for it/collect it ourselves eventually... not really what to expect at a hotel like this). But apart from this, the other staff was very attentive and nice! Also breakfast: Cappuccino etc at extra cost (strange, considering the expensive cost for the room). However as everything, in the end it was worth it - the cappuccino is very delicious and recommendable, as the entire breakfast :-)

- The individual boutique style which makes it a very cozy place
- the super helpful and super friendly staff which helped us with a lot of things (e.g. rental car, trips, etc.)
- the nice view over the city
- the lovely breakfast (with a view)
- the area of the hotel is very quiet and relaxing (the main square is a 20min walk away, but we love to walk the city / taxi is also pretty cheap)
- that we could not stay longer

This boutique hotel was exactly what we were looking for in Salta - off on a quiet street but still within walking distance of busier areas. The view from breakfast/the pool deck was amazing! The decor and staff truly made it feel like we were at home, especially with little touches throughout our stay. Very comfortable room and bed with a great minibar!
Very nitpicky, but really the only complaint was that we wished we had more hangars in the closet to unpack. Other than that, we loved it!
