Cute and cozy houseboat an easy walk to attractions and the North End.

This houseboat is set up quite well for guests. It is an older boat, but everything you need is there. It is in a safe place. It was quiet. The waves were not too bad most of the time. There were confusing rules that said one thing in the email handouts and something quite different on the rules posted in the house. We did the best we could to interpret. The price was fine, but the markups that VRBO adds MORE than doubled the cost. Add $50 for parking and is was a pricey excursion that sadly the owner does not get to share in. We wish there was more infrastructure within walking distance in Charlestown. Just a couple of restaurants and just a couple breakfast places. Overall the house was well represented in the description. The 4 pages of rules and regs was a little intimidating but we understand the protections for the house and the boat community around need to be communicated.

We very much enjoyed our stay on the houseboat. Excellent accommodations for my husband and I to enjoy a getaway. We have never stayed on a houseboat before, but would highly recommend and look forward to doing again! Owner was very responsive and accomodating

Great stay! Quaint houseboat. Our flights were delayed so we had to be met VERY late - host and staff are amazing.

Location was great - Walking distance to so many places and things to do. Great to literally be on the water for three days and two nights. Houseboat itself was a little weathered, in need of a little maintenance and not as clean as it could have been. Great communication/instructions and guidance from property manager. Relaxing time. Location, location, location.

The boat was small but very well appointed for our family. It was wonderful going to sleep and waking up on the water. Our boys loved the novelty! I only wish that our stay had been longer so that we could have explored around by foot more.

Me and a friend so enjoyed our stay. Rocked to sleep in comfy bed and pull out sofa. Only hiccup is that there are no late check ins. That is stated in other rules.

A friend once told be she wanted to live on a houseboat. She was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and I knew I had to get her to a houseboat for an adventure. After I a little research I found this property and knew it was just what she needed. It’s a beautiful location with amazing access to local attractions and fabulous dining. We signed up for parking right at the marina and Uber’d to dinner. There is a Whole Foods not too far from the boat with great parking. The biast was peaceful and relaxing with the gentle rocking. This was definitely a great choice and we enjoyed every minute. I would highly recommend this experience.

Just as advertised, and very comfortable. Wonderful communication with the owner and especially Sherrie, who manages the check-in process. She changed her schedule around to support our arrival and was very informative about everything. I highly recommend this house-boat.

Wanted to try something different than a regular hotel room and this was it! Short walk to Freedom Trail and Hop on Hop off tour stop for USS Constitution. Seeing the city skyline at night - watching the sunset - and it is in a secure gated area - all great perks! The greeter/check in person was very friendly and the host/hostess easy to communicate with!

This was SUCH a fun alternative to just staying in a hotel! I would 100% recommend this place! Great location to settle and just Uber anywhere!

Waking in comfort on the water and sitting on your deck of choice to welcome the sun was such a pleasant way to visit Boston. A quick walk brings you on a walk along the waterfront and the “T” ferry is a pleasant way to cross the harbor to the Aquarium/ Fanieul Hall area.
Check in and coordination were beyond wonderful. Highly recommend.

We’ve been avid road warriors for years pulling a pop-up camper to many state parks and more. This was an upgrade with kitchen, bath, shower, full fridge, bed and sofa bed -more like a full-sized RV camping vehicle. Only wish we could have stayed longer and seen more of Boston witho these unique accommodations. LOVED it!

The location is great as being on the water gives it a quiet "away from it all" feel, yet it is walking distance or a short Uber ride to almost everything Boston has to offer. We didn't do much cooking (other than brewing coffee and heating up leftovers) but for a small boat the kitchen area is very workable.
The owners arranged a "greeter" to be there when we arrived to help make sure we knew all the ins/outs of staying on a boat.
We really enjoyed having two outside sitting areas - one for sunrise, and the other for sunset. It was a plus to be able to watch a lightening storm while we were there, yet still felt very safe - just a bit more rocking us to sleep that night.

One of the most unique places we have stayed. Easy walking to nearby attractions. The boat has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The bot rocks you to sleep at night, we slept like babies!!! Morning coffee on the deck with the geese and ducks. Marina parking was very convenient and well worth the price.

Check in process was *terrible* as I was checked in to the WRONG place, it turned out. Then just as I was starting to unpack and settle in - the correct people arrived - and I had to grab all my things and move to another houseboat. The area was absolutely beautiful- and would probably be very fun if things had been smoother. The only other specific negative comment was that the weather really changed during the days I was there, and on the last night I was FREEZING all night. I had the heaters cranked as high as they would go - but the small baseboard heaters only worked in the bathroom, and the "living" room.... I was in the bed - with all the thin blankets in the place piled over me, plus socks & a hat.
One other thing - the bigger houseboat I was placed in at first - had coffee & a coffee maker - the one I was moved to had no tea or coffee - just a water kettle and a microwave - so I had to go buy instant coffee.

We loved our stay. The marina was quiet and safe and the houseboat was adorable.

Although we really enjoyed our stay, the amenities were below standards of what I've experienced in the past.
The towels were old and dingy. The parking fob I paid for didn't work, and wasn't replaced.

Great Experience
This was by far the best way to see Boston. The boat was perfect, it was clean and had everything we needed. We just brought clothes, personal toiletries, snacks and drinks! It was close to most things and if not, Uber (the weekend was about $75 in Uber fees). It was a too hot to walk, about 98+ degrees. The boat lulled you to sleep after a long day of exploring Boston. Definitely would recommend any of their boats!
