Kansainvälinen kohtaamis- ja majoittumispaikka

Sekasali oli pääsääntöisesti rauhallinen. Kerrossängyn alapeti oli matala. Yhteiset tilat olivat pääsääntöisesti rauhallisia. Hostellin siisteydestä henkilökunnalle erityinen maininta. Oli mukavan kotoisaa, kun ulkokengät piti riisua sisääntulon yhteydessä.

Osa ulkomaalaisista majoittujista oli äänekkäitä eivätkä kunnioittaneet toisia. Yhteisessä keittiössä siisteyskäsityksissä isoja eroja majoittujien välillä.

Kontaktsuchende hierhin

Sehr geselliges Hostel, im Gemeinschaftsraum findet man immer jemandem zum Quatschen bis tief in die Nacht. Für Alleinreisende absolut zu empfehlen!

Quietschende Betten und man darf nicht zu viel erwarten, hat eher Schullandheim Vibes.

Has everything you need and more!

The location was great, just far enough from Kyoto station that the neighbour wasn’t too crowded but still an easy walk. The staff at reception were all super nice and spoke excellent English if you were concerned. The common space was really inviting and made it easy to talk and meet people and the kitchen was well stocked. They also let you store your bag on your check in/check out day for free which was super handy. And bike rental for cheap was a fun way to explore the city.

Nothing it was all great!

Eins der besten Hostels.

Eins der besten Hostels in dem wir jemals übernachtet haben. Sauberkeit, Ausstattung, Lage, Geräuschpegel alles hat gestimmt. Wirklich nicht selbstverständlich bei einem Hostel!

Leider für ein Hostel recht teuer, jedoch sind wir auch zugegebenermaßen in der Golden Week dort hingereist. Sonst hat alles gepasst.

K House is amazing

It was a very reasonable price, well staffed, accommodating staff, good beds, and good showers. Very social group area, and good space in the group sleeping area.

It was hard to find and is a little out of the way from some of the bigger attractions of Kyoto. If you're up for a walk, or know the transit systems it's not a problem though.

Superb

The common room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were always clean and the staff very friendly. Kyoto station is about 15 min by foot and you can get to the inner city in either 10 Mins by train or bus or 30 min walking along the beautiful river. Probably one of the best hostels I have every been to

500 yen for the laundry is a bit pricy but the machines work very well :)

Very overpriced and inconvenient location, I used it for emergency (mistake in another reservation).

Each bed has privacy curtains and a locker assigned. The place is clean and the kitchen is fully equipped (it is a pity that the terrace closes in the evening, though). The luggage storage is well managed, even though compromised by the reception opening hours.

The location is not good as it is near the train station, but far from any attraction in town. For how big this place is, I was very surprised and disappointed by the fact that the reception is not 24/7 since travellers (especially backpackers) have hectic and unpredictable hours. The price is simply exaggerated: it is a hostel with dorms so it is supposed to be cheap otherwise it fails the reason why hostel exists. It should really cost the half of what I paid. Also, they asked me to pay a city tax that should have been included in what I paid through booking.com in order not to alter the order when you sort accommodation by price and for transparency (we are customers, what we pay is the gross price, then you divide the money for costs, for city tax and everything: we care only about the gross price, which is the only thing we see as we are not your accountants so NO to the "plus this, plus that" and so on).

Helpful and friendly staff

The staff were brilliant. There was a male member of staff, Michi I think, who was so helpful and friendly. There is a Japanese bath on one of the floors, which gives you the chance to try something different. There is also a tattoo friendly public bath a 5 minute walk away. Kyoto Station is a 5 to 10 minute walk away. There is a beautiful roof terrace, that gives you a great view over the city. This is a brilliant hostel and I would love to come back.

Exceptional

Returned for my 3rd visit. Great location, easy walk from station and to several major temples. Staff is super helpful. Common room, it's balcony, and rooftop are nice places to relax.

I wish the breakfast cafe and bar had reopened. Hopefully soon.

I both liked and or loved everything about this establishment. This business. It feels a lot more like I'm interacting with friends and family themselves and I'm not just only a random customer or guest. This place this business in my opinion is to in fact be commended and personally acknowledged by myself and hopefully a few others to be certain to be sure. This place is sugoi. If in fact I'm given a personal choice I don't want to even leave Kyoto Japan itself. To be certain to be sure. And I also must re acknowledge my new friend Jack and I believe that that is a nickname for either Jacqueline or Jackie itself. She is both knowledgeable kind and helpful. In fact if I were in my own country of America I would call my friend Jack and or Jacqueline or Jackie a very busy bee. And in fact I don't even know if she knows personally that American expression. But maybe she does I don't even know that. But I do know in fact that she is sugoi. And she even also comes to her place of work when she has a personal day off. I can't even believe that. But Jack is very very dedicated to her job and personal responsibilities. If she were in America I would call her a keeper. One that is in fact not to be dismissed. Sugoi.

I loved everything about this business this establishment and it's also better than many other hostels that I've stayed at before and better also then many and or several hotels and motels that I've stayed at before. The staff is kind are kind and helpful. And in my opinion also this establishment this business is run like a well-oiled machine. And also I love the color blue that is painted all around me it's on most of the doors on each and every floor it's very relaxing and also soothing they also have a reception area where they pipe in music usually light jazz and or easy listening you can also hear it inside the lounge on the second floor of this six-story building and it also has a rooftop Terrace. Fun. fun. fun. And also if they would allow me to do it I would in fact even volunteer to work here that's it. And also thanks a lot thanks again. And my name also is Brent McDermott. And also I must single out one employee to be certain to be sure everyone around here calls her by her nickname of Jack. But I think that her name may be Jacqueline or Jackie. And I always make a point to single her out personally. And also Tommy Thomas he is the manager he is also kind helpful and considerate. What a cool guy. I can now see why everyone wants to stay here just like me LOL. And also I would live here if they would let me LOL. Brent McDermott. I really in fact didn't dislike anything to coin a famous Disney movie Mary Poppins from the year that I was born 1964 to be certain to be sure. It's now practically Perfect in every way. And also they don't even need a spoonful of sugar. And also. That is to be sure a direct reference from the aforementioned movie Mary Poppins. The film the movie with the incomparable Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke.

Go out of your way to stay here this place to me also feels like I'm at home. Here. Brent McDermott

I liked I loved everything about this business this establishment and it also feels like a safe and happy environment. And also I feel that these people that I've met the staff themselves they all feel like family to me. And also since I've been here at this hostel I've even made one Japanese friend her name is Jack it's probably I would bet a cool nickname it's probably a synonym for Jacqueline and or Jackie or both I think that even one of the staff whose name whose nickname is Tommy also referred to her by name by her given name as Jackie but I like that nickname also it's both cool and fun and also as they say in America this place is off the hook and that to be sure is a good thing it's amazing here I would in fact also live here

And also I didn't dislike anything not even one single solitary thing this place is amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing and also I like it so much that I even tried to volunteer to work here so in fact we will see how that exactly goes

I loved everything about this business no real detractors or negatives to be certain to be sure Brent McDermott. I also have to add that one of their staff members whose name is Jack is amazing I think that it's a nickname for Jacqueline and or Jackie or both to be sure.

This is one of the few times that I've liked everything about a place this place the only negative might be and this is a debate and or debatable and that might be the fact that the business has no Central heating apparently. So the hallways can be kind of sort of cold no Central Heating here but your personal rooms the personal rooms are quite warm and toasty. This place is amazing.

Just a one-word review title amazing.

I loved everything about this hostel it was great it was amazing I would recommend this hostel to everyone anybody and anyone to be sure.

I've found nothing negative about staying here it was and is great amazing amazing amazing amazing I've even made friends with one of the staff members she has a nickname and everyone here just calls her Jack I think that it may be a nickname.
