location. some of the Staff were very pleasant
We had requested 2 parking places, only one was allocated. my email to the Hotel clearly asked for 2, they blamed Booking.com!!!
we had also requested a Table in their Restaurant but they said they were too busy as it was Buffet night and no space. We asked them to recommend and book us a Restaurant in town but refused saying they wouldn’t recommend the competition. They put us in a Sister Hotel down the street, one room had NO Air Conditioning and the other room Air Conditioning was faulty and didn’t work, temperature was 32 degrees Centigrade. would not recommend this hotel.

Location is good, and possibility of Wellness usage. Balcony is quite big, and rooms are spacious. Breakfast was very good and with lots of choices.
Room service is slow, We were waiting for more than 30 mins for hotel slippers to be delivered, finally We went for them by ourselves to reception. (Why they were not included immediately in Wellness bag or in the room?). Bar in refrigerator - empty, there is NO guide in room for usage, telephone-book, local visiting sites advertisements etc, there is NO electric kettle with tee or coffee in room that would be expected for 4 star hotel. Bed was not double bed, but two singles joined together. Saunas and swimming pool exist but are small regarding the number of guests that are and can use them. It gets overcrowded. Swimming pool is not big or designed for some great swimming. Instead of two shampoos and two body lotions, we had one shampoo and three body lotions in the room, but did not bother to call room service again. Parking places for the hotel guests in the garage or around the hotel are insufficient for guests, and you have to pay for parking on the road, if you manage to get parking because there are too few parking places.

All went well. The view was fantastic! Good for a biking tour hotel location. Nice value for money.
the damp smell in the room was not very pleasant

no in room tea/coffee

no a la carte dinner menu
limited car parking.

All was good.
We were a family of 4 and we ended up paying for a family room and a double room, which cost us much more than it should have...

Both breakfast and dinner are exceptional. Make sure you include both in your reservation.
Parking can be challenging, especially during the peak season.

Robert at the reception desk was really lovely and so helpful… he kindly helped us amend our booking and gave us all the info we needed. If you’re staying here you simply must stay in a room with a balcony because the view is wonderful!
room was lovely and quiet - the hotel is situated on a quiet road with the most wonderful view and just a few minutes walking distance to everything.
it’s only a small thing and perhaps a personal thing for me really but single beds pushed together as a double - I just prefer an actual double bed.

Property is located at best location. One can enjoy the river view. Can see castle. During the night, it becomes more beautiful. Staff was very helpful. I got sick in night because of bad food but they helped a lot.
I got room on 1st floor only. I asked beforehand that I wanted room on higher floors.

Not worth with the money. Their swimming pool is in another building, there was no hairdryer for those who after swimming. The room was smell bad. For the first morning, the cleaning service didn’t change the drinking glass for us, didn’t filled up the shampoo and shower soap. Breakfast very usual not special. The only good for this hotel is the location, that’s all. Will not recommend for my friends!

Buffet Breakfast was good.
Parking was charged at 15 euro per night extra, because of the parking situation there. Should be included in the price!,
Ate dinner there as well, Under staffed had to wait 35 minutes for a cheese platter.
Pillows are like tring to sleep on a balloon
And people yelling around at all hours of the night between the hours of 11pm- 0400am.

cleanliness, location, view from room
pre-paid to booking.com using amex. Hotel staff had my wife pay again when dropping off keys. When i went back, the reason was ‘amex is not accepted’. i dont care, i pre-paid! After looking in the system my payment was found as mastercard, so i was wrong according to staff. How rude! Also, after being seated for a drink in the afternoon, nobody came to take our order for 10 minutes so we left.

Very good location, would recommend further
Weather was excellent

The room is indeed comfortable.
In the description is saying that the room Comfort has a River View but in the reality you can see only 20% of the river and the rest is backyard view. So it's not worth the price, no at all. Specially where there are lots of other hotels with a better view and price. Unless you pay for the expensive one.

Swimming pool and sauna were nice
Very average room, small and basic. Television controller was broken, and the shower was so small that larger people would not be able to get in. Breakfast was poor, a budget buffet (certainly not Covid safe - self service) and bad coffee. Three times the price it is worth in my experience of other hotels.

Very nice view of Cochem
Service was quite bad (only one staff at the restaurant that was very nice), too expensive for what it offers.
4.0
Great view of the Castle and the waterfront town on the opposite side, especially from our river-view room, walking distance to restaurants nearby , reasonable and easy parking, good BF. Secured facilities, clean and comfortable room.
From the street/parking , there are many stairs to the lobby , so it is very hard to carry large suitcase(s).The restaurant closed too soon.
