This is an amazing place, a large house in a country village with very friendly and helpful staff (we managed even though the language barrier). Large bedrooms, and a sitting room, dining room and kitchen available to use if wanted. Set in a beautiful garden. Very comfortable beds and we were offered breakfast at a reasonable cost when we arrived, too. One night wasn't enough; if we didn't live so far away in the UK we'd be back as soon as we could and have a longer stay here!
There wasn't really much to not like. The car park is plenty large enough but being covered in gravel is rather slippy for motorcycles, so we had to be careful. The restaurant in the village was shut so we headed to the nearest town, Ernee, but pretty much everything there was only serving drinks, too (Wednesday evening, not sure if that matters), which did mean a search for dinner in the evening.

Beautiful, peaceful, everything you need to self cater, comfortable, friendly
It is a good central location if you are driving around a lot, not somewhere to stay for a holiday as there's nothing there. We were house hunting in the area of Lower Nirmandy so it was ideal for that. Beautiful place though and very peaceful. They could use it as a retreat, that would be perfect. It has a lot more potential than what it currently offers.

Beautiful place! Good for getting to other spots. Peaceful and pretty grounds. Great kitchen and fridge storage to use, friendly and accommodating whatever time you arrive. Just call or message and they're on it! It was a very useful base for our house hunt in Mayenne area.
Village is virtually non-existent. Newsagents, take away and bank - that's it, but that's how it is in France. There isn't always someone around to ask. There are some funny working hours over there. No TV but I don't tend to use one anyway, I have my devices for films.
