The Brisas beach restaurant and beach club were great. Love that its nestled in nature in a mangrove forest. Breakfast was perfect. Wonderful staff. Will visit again.
Some restaurants like Fuego need a reservation a few days in advance.

the hotel is beautiful, nice beach, amazing pools. very nice rooms too
expensive food. they expect 15% min tip everywhere in any restaurant including open bar breakfast. a few extra charges added at the checkout (in addition to what booking has).

Great villa (casita), restaurants, gym, pool and beach area. Exceptional service! Worth checking the all inclusive as paying per meal can be quite expensive.
Food was on the expensive side.

The property was by far the best we have had the pleasure of staying in! It was spread out but the shuttle service ran regularly and if you rang reception they would pick you up from your beach property to the lobby. The Laguna area was fantastic with restaurants and multiple pool areas to relax.

Presidential suite lived up to the name. The Best suite we ever booked! Staff and food is A1 quality. Definitely worth the price. Highly recommend!
Transportation to and from suite a bit of a hassle. Maybe have a golf cart dedicated to such suites. But the walk made up for it with the beautiful grounds!

The staff is great.
The rooms are very comfortable.
Nice restaurants at the beach.
Breakfast buffet was very good.
When we got to the hotel they had to close the beach pool because they were doing some last minute repairs, which was a boomer, because the ocean was full of algae or sargazo, so we couldn't stay much at the beach, which is the nicest thing they have.
We had to stay at the property pool, which was good but not as beautiful as being at the beach.
Also all the restaurants are very nice but way overpriced and limited on gluten sensitivities.
The ocean was full of algae barriers and the view was not pleasant at all.

Location, pool, scenery
Slow response from staff, water was not free at restaurants

Grounds exceptional

Location is great, beach is beautiful, even though weather was bad.
Breakfast is amazing by the beach and very good service, but very expensive for Playa del Carmen.
Parking easy and quick.
because of the rain, there was water just in front of the bedroom door, and it was not removed by staff.
Included breakfast at the main restaurant was average quality. Service was not good there either. Disorganised, long wait to get a table, chaotic and very noisy. Strong AC indoor, as already cold outside due to bad weather.
Not any place for massages... nor paddle tennis. We stayed 2 days only, and no availability for those services. A bit disappointing. Room service very slow.
Very cold room, no heating. No duvet cover. No blankets.

Love this hotel! This was our third visit and better than ever. Our first two visits were during Covid and the hotel remodel. The new beach club and restaurants are amazing. Service excellent. There was not one strand of seaweed on the beach. Fantastic stay.

the boat trip is just amazing the views are great the staff are friendly and the food is very good. I also liked the little details line one of the night the housekeeper left a little traditional Mexican toy as a souvenir that was a expected doesn’t cost much for the hotel but goes beyond expectations. the bamboo pool staff deserves 10/10
the don’t exchange Money the location is little far if u r alone but if u are travelling with someone it’s a must to stay there

The service was fantastic and the beach was pristine. They really made an effort to keep it sargasso free
Some of the restaurants were closed and the hotel was fully booked so it was impossible to get a table to feed our kids early. We also had to wait 20 minutes for a table at breakfast. If the restaurants were closed then they should not have the hotel fully booked.
Also, a few days ago I noticed we were charged TWICE!! (over £4000) i have contacted the front desk and they said they would refund (no apology) but I still don’t have my money… so now I have to chase them!

Boat ride on the canal.
Booked all inclusive. Very limited restaurant choice and menu.

Breakfast was excellent in The morning, buffet style and lots of choice with very good quality produce. Fresh fruit each day and there’s a member of staff on each station.
Construction in parts of the hotel means buggy only to the beach

The location is beautiful
The property is rundown, staff says no a lot, there aren’t enough staff, the dining situation is meager, and you better take a very careful look at your bill because each family in my party found a wrongful charge on their bill.
