Location, view and the amenities. Positive attempt to ecological concerns (corridor lights, shower heads, etc)
The mattresses were (like in most Greek hotels) hard and bouncy. Unfortunately for the ecological aspect, our room had an old fashioned flush (that had enough water to drown an elephant). Also the shower curtain was extremely close and made showering uncomfortable.

Extraordinary views ; welcoming and helpful staff; parking right outside the hotel
Breakfast was poor. Poorly executed and embarrassing ugly pictures on the walls

Stayed there for a couple of days. Hotel is close to the center of Portaria.
Really clean & cozy rooms and facilities, and the staff really kind and helpful.
The spa services, food and breakfast were also great, highly recommend it to try them all. Would definitely stay there again!
Although breakfast was delicious, they weren't serving milk.

It was in a great location, the view of our room was amazing. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were great!! We really liked the hammam and sauna area and the massage I got was great.
The room requires renovation for the price/night. The main pool was cold so we only used it once when we wanted to use more.

Great breakfast, good location, friendly staff, really clean
I expected more things for the kids ( there was no use of the playground ) and staff to be more strict with safety for covid ( there were people at the breakfast with no mask at the buffet). Also the serving place/ buffet for breakfast, was squeezed in a really small room, so was overcrowded

Good breakfast
Lovely villages around
Pay more attention to the cleaness of the rooms and the facilities.
Staff could be more friendly

We visited the hotel at a very busy period of time (21-23 August) and I would not say that we got good value for money-paying 285 euros per night for a family of 4, including breakfast (which was exceptional I have to say). Worse still was the wedding banquet in the swimming pool on Saturday evening. So, maybe this place is better in a less busy time but I would not rush going there again
Wedding banquet combined with the price we had to pay (ie. all the noise for a premium in price)

breakfast was ok , spa was small but nice. stuff in spa nice breakfast on a nice balcony with a bit of view
they charge extra for the spa and for the water in the room but no price list to see in the room. the room very poor not for this price and has nothing comfortable . bad toilet bad shower old bed old furnitures old aircondition. you should not charge this price for that room its like cheeting

Great breakfasts and dinners with lots of variety, the pool was great after a day of hiking, the rooms were very cozy and comfortable, the staff were kind, the view from the hotel is very beautiful
It would have been better if the pool hours were longer after 7pm

Breakfast was good, location was great, welcome was good.
The first room had a worn out look and feel. Duct tape round the toilet etc. The pillow smelled musty. The ac barely worked. It felt like a run down hotel in this regard. I complained but the front desk refused to change my room and were quite aggressive about how good they thought the room was. The next morning, after poor sleep because of a barely functioning AC, I complained again but rather than accept the customer is right it was only once the receptionist had visited the room herself and tried things out that she capitulated and I received a room (right next door) which was better but still not great. This rather soured my experience of the hotel though the staff were lovely on the whole.
