A good value for money option in the embassy area

The hotel is conveniently located in the embassies area, so is a good fit for such kind of travel purposes. The rooms are quite comfortable, with electric kettle, instant coffee and tea, beds are comfy as well, air conditioning is working good, which is important in Ankara’s summer heat. General cleanliness of the hotel is ok, sometimes there are spots of tiredness, some items would be nice to replace. Hotel staff is always ready to help.

Breakfast could have more options, although for 1 or 2 days it’s ok. Rooms facing the main street (mostly deluxe) are EXTREMELY noisy even with the windows closed, so if you want some silence, choose a standard room. Most of the staff speaks very limited English, so communication can become an issue when you a have a non-standard request. But as I mentioned, they are trying to do their best, and you can use online translation tools anyway. Having a normal chair instead of a uncomfortable piece of furniture would be great, sometimes work is required during trips.

Very helpful team and Lobby Manager. Nice, clean room, good breakfast. The location is superb. Within short walking distance to the high street with all the shops. The hotel has a Spa facility that is operating until early morning hours. Will be booking again.

Cigarette smoke filled quick hook up hotel/motel

Trashy, smoky brothel with absolutely no internet access. This hotel went down the hill, we stayed here couple years back and it was clean and nice but now it’s used as a motel type of stay for quick hook ups, every night there is screaming and moaning, cigarette smoke all over hotel, if you have health issues forget about staying in non-smoking room, it simply does not exist, internet does not work in the room, it works in the lobby only. Have complained many times and non stop promises to fix with no action. Staff confirmed receiving these complaints all the time but owner does not care and is after money only.

Absolute brothel, trashy hotel that’s heavily misrepresented and incorrectly rated. If you’re looking for hotel to have sex, stank like cigarette smokes and not have any internet then this is the right place for you. Reserved this hotel for almost one month while on vacation and complained several times, owner accepted the situation and promised to fix but was complete ignorance, even staff complained about owner and how trashy this place is. There is a massage place in the basement so you can only imagine what goes on there. Tried contacting booking and they pretty much said sucks to be you but no refund stick with dangerous and unhealthy conditions of the hotel there is nothing we can do even though hotel confirmed to booking.Com all my complaints and again stated they will do their best to fix the issue. How can you fix cigarette smoke issue? It’s now soaked to all the walls and beds because of heavy smoke use, every night there is moaning and screaming, internet never works unless you go down to the lobby. Also hotel is on the hill unless you’re planning to take taxi don’t bother

Decent stay.

Location was fine. Consulates are nearby and few restaurants.

Not even a single staff could speak in English. Being new to Turkey, it was very difficult to communicate. Also, it was hot during June and AC wasn’t working to its capacity.

Pleasant staff. They were kind & helpful.

Room voice isolation was quite poor. We woke up at 7.30am early morning because of guests voice at their room & hotel hallway and sound pollution especially hotel staff housekeeping. Sound isolation must be better, especially from room door. We chose hotel for rest well and sleep well.

It was a fantastic experience

We met with MR. Aflil, a staff from Sri Lanks, who was very supportive and friendly. He gave us personalized service and spent a tremendous amount of time with us to help us continue our trip to Turkey.

A huge 4 Star grading let down... .

Nothing, the hotel didn't meet any of my expectations.

Everything was of poor quality. Room was not properly cleaned, with air conditioning not working throughout the entire stay. Food was a huge disappointment, particularly breakfast which lacked variety with no proper tea station. The establishment qualifies for maybe 3 star grading but definitely not 4 stars.

We come from Azerbaijan for embassy, we were here for 1 week, the hotel is very clean, also the location is good because it is near many embassy’s. Also special thanks for Maids Birsel Hamid Vedat.Next time will come here also. Recommending this hotel to everyone. The food is good here also prices also good.

Generally a pleasant stay

Nice and helpful staff. Spoke English but not so fluent. Google translate was the best communication method. The hotel staff were helpful with ordering our preferred meals using the local food delivery services. Location is close to most embassies, nice restaurants and accessible to cabs.

We hated the smell of cigarette through the vents and when there is noise in the hall way it is audible in the room. Hotel chef was sick for the duration of our stay, so we cannot say much about their meals. Breakfast is not brought to your room and you need to go to the restaurant to get your meal.

overwhelming experience in Ankara

I was on a business trip to Karabük with my wife and positively surprised by the comfort, neatness and hospitality of this property, very friendly staff. My wife and I, we enjoyed the comprehensive open buffet breakfast very much. Location of the hotel has also met our expectations and I am sure we will come back on the upcoming opportunities if we visit Ankara again and will recommend to our family and friends.

I felt like I was getting VIP treatment here, with a really tranquil atmosphere and a clean hotel.

I've stayed in a number of hotels in Istanbul and Ankara. This was at the top of my list of the best stays I've ever had. The staff was really friendly and accommodating to my every need. I must personally thank Mr. Fatih for his great assistance. Thank you very much.

Delicious room-service food, and robustly furnished rooms.

The best part is room-service menu: the meat dishes are all exceptional. The spicy beef, grilled beef, and chicken skewers are impeccable; one does not need a restaurant with this kind of service. The beds are comfortable, the room service is great, and the general furnishing is high-quality. The best thing is the fact that I cannot complain about anything, really. The next street has many embassies if one is on a diplomatic mission.

Certain staff members are struggling with English at times. They understand well, but conveying the ideas back is sometimes not as smooth as one could wish it were.

They charge for the tea they offered when we just entered the hotel. We agreed, thought its welcoming tea. But they charged for it when we were cheking out from the hotel. Not big money. Just not nice.

Awesome

Mimi/ Koru hotel is such a very good place with some wonderful staffs, rooms are cleaned every morning and the breakfast is very good. Was always assisted by the hotel staffs which really made by stay easy and very satisfying and I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ankara

I liked everything and of course the hotel should still focus on making it the best

5 star feeling!!!

The best hotel I've ever had the privilege to visit. Gorgeous building, and entering it only makes it more stunning. High-quality service and accommodations (there is a huge mirror which gives a classy look to the room). They also offer a nice spa with Turkish baths. Remember to make your spa reservation early because they are frequently booked.

Good size family apartments with clean beds and bathrooms. May smell of smoke. Breakfast was ok.

Housekeeping staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful and the beds and bathrooms spotless. Absolutely loved the ladies!

Rooms and reception foyer smelt of cigarettes and an ash tray was available in the room despite being a smoke free floor. Breakfast was substandard compared to typical Turkish hotels.

All staffs here are very welcoming and kind. Even a few speak English and I speak poor Turkish, they try their best to understand and read me. I also learn more Turkish from them! The room service and food are exceptional. I order my lunch from here very often. The surroundings are safe. You will be ok walking alone in this area at night.

No gym in the hotel, but it's not much of my problem.
