Lovely Beach - Staff need to take Responsibility and Care

great location - Bottle Beach is a clean sandy beach surrounded by rain forest hills - very pretty

Unfortunately we were over charged by 500 baht. As staff didn't refund us the holding deposit for the room key. Which is a regular charge do they do all the time. We didn't notice till a couple of days later when we were back home. Contacted the Staff via WhatsApp - they said they were unable to refund the 500 baht onto our credit card which was the same card we paid the bill with. Staff said they require my bank account. I don't give out my bank details that's why we use a credit. They said they couldn't do anything and to contact Booking.com. Disappointing response. The other issue was careless and dangerous. They advised us it was safe to depart by long boat and made the booking for that morning. We prepaid the staff for a taxi to pick us up and help us with our suitcases when we arrive at the jetty. I was told twice we would be dropped off at a jetty. The sea was so rough with 3 meters waves, you could see the driver was worried shouting for directions, everyone was getting wet and soaked - never in my life have I been so concerned we could drown - never should have travel by boat that morning - way too dangerous!! We were dropped off on a beach not a jetty with no help from the taxi driver to carry suitcases - getting out of the boat we were up to waist level in sea water. I think the staff at Bottle Beach 1 Resort, need training to learn how to respect their tourists and do the best for them. Not to rip them off and lead them to danger...

Secluded beach for a short stay - good value but you get what you pay for

It was very secluded and great value for money. The food and drinks were also good value, which was good as there are no other options. It was nice for max 3 nights but there are only two places to eat and not much for activities but very beautiful and glad we went

Food was good value but not exceptional and only two restaurants so staying for more than 3 days would get dull. Service was very slow and the plastic waste and waste in general at the rear of the site was not managed very well.

A great quiet low key tropical paradise.

Truly a tropical paradise

Over all it was wonderful but the mattress was cheap and had a lot of springs sticking up but was a king size and the sheets were surprisingly good quality.

The location is very nice, they have a pool and the bungalows are near the water.

The food at the restaurant was just okay. Little to no options for vegans/vegetarians.

The room was very Clean and comfortable, and the View (Seaside Bungalow) was incredible. Also the staff are some of the friendliest people we Met in Thailand, they we're Always caring and did their best to make Sure we have a fantastic time Here. Thank you so much for that! The food ist very good and affordable. I can absolutely recommend this place.

The experience on the beach was amazing! The rooms were okay, the restaurant was great, I think that the best out of the 3 options on the beach.

The AC and hot water in the shower weren't available all-day

was here 10 and 17 years ago it hasn’t really changed that much few new buildings but still the same vibe and the beach is great, very chilled and relaxing. staff are all friendly and it’s an easy place to be.

unfortunately the bed was so hard and the pool needed a good clean but hey the beach is better

The stuff was really welcoming and took care of every need. The restaurant is very good. The resort is very simple but we knew that, and that is the charm of the place- we loved it!

The pool isn’t maintained. It’s not clean, and the water is murky. Kinda feels dirty and not welcoming to swim in.

Beatiful beach.

The beach an the location are BREATHTAKING. We have travelled a lot in over 50 countries worldwide but bottle beach is among the most beatiful beaches we have been. We had luck and went in a time where, due to Corona (July 2022) still less tourist went to Thailand so there was very view people on the beach. The staff is friendly and the hotel is nice. Overall we have been very happy with this choice.

The food is okay but not great (prices are fair anyway). The room was very dark, nearly impossible to read a book inside the room, even at daytime. The pool did not seem very clean and attractive (which doesn´t really matter when you are located at such a beatiful beach). What we really disliked: on Saturday, the hotel (and also the other hotels on the beach) made fireworks (sacring all the animals in the bay and in the nearby jungle) and sending flying paper laterns with fire to the sky, that will fall straight into the sea after a view hundred meters, including pieced of metal and chemical stuff to make the thing burn. This way of throwing strash into this beatiful bay seems a crime to us. You can´t do things like that in 2022. We felt very sad, seing how little respect the hotel shows for the beatiful nature that is the basis of their business...

Very basic room, but very beautiful location.

Bottle Beach is beautiful. Most of the staff were helpful. The restaurant food is reasonably priced considering the isolation of property.

The staff didn’t make up room daily, even when requested. So no new water, towels and bin in toilet wasn’t emptied. The lady behind the desk assured me it would be made up but it never was. The pool is quite murky - one of my son’s got an ear infection following swimming in it (maybe related).

It is a beautiful place with a perfect location and the staff is very nice

The way to go down is a bit complicated, you have to walk for a bit so I will recommend not to arrive late in the evening or in the middle of the day as it is quite warm

Superb

beautiful secluded beach, the staff was very helpful and friendly. they kept a room tab which was nice. i didn’t have to carry my wallet around with me at the beach while I was buying drinks from their restaurant.

Dream Beach

Bottle beach is incredibly beautiful and staying at the hotel an absolute recommendation! The rooms are simple, don’t expect much, but they are perfectly fine for the low price you pay. The food is cheap and good, the staff super friendly. Access is difficult, only possible by boat or a 4x4. Just send the hotel a message and they will come and pick you up. You might have to wait around a bit, but hey, you’re probably backpacking anyway ;) Absolute recommendation!

Epic overnighter in a postcard location!

The location is stunning, food was amazing and surprisingly well priced considering how isolated Bottle Beach is. The staff were fun and kind, we enjoyed talking with them. The room was clean and right on the beach. We had a fan bungalow which was all we needed for the night after hiking across. We would love to come back with a small group to stay the weekend!

Very good

If you would like to be isolated from the outside world, this place is for you. Around this place, you can not find any shops or anything like this. Bottle beach has couple of resorts, so there is a possibility to go to different restaurants. Bungalows are ok, some of them have direct view to the sea. It's a really good place to have a rest.

I didn't like taxi boats, which are occupying the beach. And after 3 days I got bored.
