I've stayed here twice now and will definitely be back! Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is delicious, shower is nice, free parking, good wifi - superb, friendly hosts. I'm never too bothered about the decor, but this place is absolutely lovely, well decorated, and very cozy. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Loughborough.

We stayed in the family room, very spacious
Throughout the b&b the decor was fabulous!
Felt special
Good facilities, loved the en-suite!
Would have preferred if the owners were there to greet us when we arrived. Otherwise could not fault it!

The breakfast was fantastic, with both continental and full english available each morning. I had the full english each morning with orange juice and coffee, with the eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, mushrooms, hash brown, toast and black pudding all cocked beautifully.
It's a long walk up the stairs with a heavy bag, but the room was large and bright, and the stairs are very wide which makes it a little easier.

Derek and Lez were perfect gentlemen, and very welcoming. Excellent breakfast.
The external bathroom was a little inconvenient but we knew that ahead of the stay.

I’ll start from arrival, easy to find with sat nav, spacious car parking, beautiful building from outside, well tended garden. We received a lovely friendly welcome, stepping into the hallway was a real treat, it’s so lovely, Derek and Les are super, nothing is too much trouble. Our room was delightful, spacious, very nicely decorated and such comfortable beds. The whole house is exceptionally clean and the small details (tea, coffee, biscuits, water and kettle in our room. Along with luxury soaps, shampoos and shower gels in our private bathroom, to tissues, cushions in our room, and a comfortable arm chair, beautiful furniture and artwork in our room and throughout the house) are fabulous, makes your stay a real treat. It’s so very interesting. I wish our stay was more than just one night. We stayed for our son’s university graduation ceremony. Breakfast was amazing, the very best I’ve had in a hotel, so much choice and freshly cooked to order. Something for everyone’s taste and plenty of it. The silverware to serve coffee and tea was not lost on us, we loved it, such a nice touch. As you can tell, we absolutely loved everything about Holywell House and our fabulous hosts. We will definitely be coming back and for longer next time. Thank you for making our short stay so memorable. Delighted I’ve found somewhere I feel so comfortable and safe (which is important when I travel alone with my daughter sometimes).
If you need anything you only have to ask here, they are so helpful. So my answer is nothing we didn’t like at all.

Our hosts were simply fabulous!!! Nothing was too much trouble and made us feel like family. Des played the piano one evening, which was lovely, and they both went out of their way to drop us all off at the railway station for our murder mystery evening going above and beyond 😀
I'm not used to sleeping by a main road, but that comes with the house being located in a town.

The cleanliness was impeccable, noticeably the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The decor was awesome and querky. Loved it. Lovely breakfast. And the hosts were friendly, informative and professional.10 out of 10 from me!
The fact that they were full the next night and we couldn't stay again. Not surprising either tho!

Nothing was too much trouble for Les and Derek, I felt as though I’d known them for years rather than just met them, more like a friend than a guest. Les even drove me to my event (sadly a funeral). The room was really comfortable, breakfast was just right, I wish I could scramble eggs like that! Everywhere was beautifully kept, spotlessly clean, so welcoming. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends. Thank you both for making a sad reason for staying much easier to cope with.
The stairs as I am waiting for a hip operation, but that was unavoidable and Les and Derek made sure they were on hand to help me.

Flexible arrival time, spaciousness and cleanliness of room, parking space, location, friendly welcome.
Inability to have gluten free full English breakfast but there was a good selection of other options like a choice of gluten free cereals and toast available.

Great location! We loved the decor and ambiance of the house and the hospitality of the hosts. The room was comfortable and warm. The dining room is beautiful with comfortable chairs and beautiful tableware. Great breakfast with a lot of options. This is the best B and B we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you!

Very comfy room and an excellent breakfast. Good supply of parking. Worth mentioning that it won the TV series 'Four in a bed'. It's obviously very well run.
