The beach is super nice, the family who live here is so friendly and welcoming. The price is realy good. The room is big.
You need a tuktuk/scooter or a long walk to get to the main beach area / surf area. We had tuktuk so no problem

Impossible to live
📍Все фото и отзывы старые. Попытались заселиться. Вода в душе не уходит. Пол грязный. Все старое изношенное. Терасса без перил.
Неприенлемо для жилья((((

Lovely place, lovely owner, which was extremely friendly and always helpful.
The room was clean and well maintained.
The beach is beautiful and the see is rough.
You find plenty of restaurants of all kinds close, also shops, massages and more.
All in all: 9,5 out of 10!

Fantastic family, cleaned room and perfect location on the beach for people who like to relax and to be out of the caos.. the resort is near to the center and close to many market and services

Spacious room, breach front, and has 4 tables for you to relax while looking at the sea. Beach area is pretty clean but felt unsafe for a swim so be careful.
The room had 4 wall sockets, but all of them were 5A. The owner did provide a convertor, but it would be better to bring ur own.

Talin, the owner picked me up from the Airport in Colombo (for a fair prize) and we drove down to Hikkaduwa. His little Hotel is right at the beach. I had to walk about 10m until my feed touched sand. My room with Aircon and fan was simple but really clean, as well as the bathroom.
The food they served in the restaurant was good and I was able to rent a scooter from Talin too (for a really good prize) which was not as worn down as many scooters are here in Sri Lanka. He trustet me and didn't even ask to keep my passport for it, left the gate unlocked so I could get in at night (after partying) and did everything to make my stay really comfortable. He told me, which laundry place was good and where I should not go and never tried to sell me something that I didn't ask for.
I can really recommend this place!!!
actually nothing, so far my best stay in Sri Lanka!

Incredibly friendly and open host family. Perfect location directly on Narigama beach. Supermarket in 5 min reachable. If you like long walks, you can reach Turtle Beach, Hikkaduwa Beach and many restaurants in about 20 - 30 min. Otherwise you can take a TukTuk. Breakfast is simple, but super tasty.
The room facing the street is very noisy, but it did not bother us. For a minimal extra charge you can change rooms and sleep with the sound of the sea.

Very kind family, owner helps with everything we want. He has tuktuk with fuel, so he can take tourists to the places near by. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean.

Talin was lovely and so welcoming to us. We were the only guests at the time (beginning of off season) and he kindly offered to give us rides in his tuk tuk, including down to Rathgama Lake and pointing us in the direction of a boat ride!
Amazing breakfast views across the beach and the breakfast itself was simple but really tasty.
We were in rooms without AC and it was very warm even with the ceiling fan on.
You need to get a tuk tuk if you want to go into Hikkaduwa, the hotel is close to a supermarket and a couple of restaurants but it’s a long walk down a busy road into the centre.

Amazing, quiet, vast beach. Many sunbeds and sun umbrellas. Waves are pretty rough but adults should be able to swim. Location is great, ~2km from the center, but there are stores nearby, even pretty well equipped Cargill's. You have the quite and feeling of remoteness while still being pretty close to Hikkaduwa. Area around the hotel felt safe, just be aware that it is a busy street(although you don't hear much traffic when in hotel)
Rooms are nice, clean, conveniently arranged and large. Close enough to the beach so you can hear it.
Family running the hotel is extremely nice, we felt welcome from the first moment. Sincerely friendly and offered a lots of help with our six months old baby.
Food is great
Thank you for everything Talin!
It's a pretty small hotel so in case it's full it can feel a bit crowded. But you can always escape to the beach if you prefer some solitude(or need to calm a loudly crying baby ;)).
Breakfast included with the room is only western, you need to pay extra for Sri Lankan option.

Room was very spacious, clean and tidy. Family also really friendly and helpful. Beautiful beach right out the back and bed accessible to shops and restaurants.

Very nice family, room was the cleanest we had in Sri lanka, nice quiet location at the beach and only 10minutes walk to the busy area. A must do in Hikkaduwa.

Great location right on the beach

Beautiful hotel at the beach for a very good price. Rooms are spacious, umbrellas and beach lounges at the beach are free. You can get food there and the owner and his family is very friendly. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy Hikkaduwa. Even it is a bit off the center you can get a TukTuk or take a local bus which drives along the main road every 5 min.
The Wi-Fi is only working in one special are which is on the one hand a bit annoying on the other hand it was good so we could enjoy the beach more. Not a big downside for us just wanted to let you know. And the owner prefers to accept Dollars or Euro, if you pay with Rupees the conversion rate is kinda bad so you pay a bit more than what you see on booking but it is also depending on the market

Hosts are lovely. The accomodation is on the beach directly and you can hear the ocean from the room. Room was clean and well maintained compared to other places in Sri Lanka.
The bathroom is always wet and smells of mold, but is clean. (This is common in Sri Lanka as there is a lot of humidity)
Wifi does not work in rooms only in the hallway. And even there it is poor.

AC worked well and the shower is very good. Breakfast was good but a slight fish smell from eggs. Real butter was nice. The view in the back side is beautiful. Beach with waves crashing in.
No wifi, very busy road 10 meters from my room, high menu prices with poor food quality and small portions, you really have to go elsewhere for food and that means a 1 kilometer walk. You cannot swim at the beach behind the hotel because the surf is too powerful. Talin is too occupied with extracting as much as he can from each guest so that is uncomfortable. It is the home of a family of six and when you enter or leave, you are passing through their living room. 10% service charge on everything even though they have no employees. He will try to make you pay 240 rupees per dollar which is 18% higher than the official rate. I did not like the confrontational situation one bit. There is also a odor on the sheets and towels that is not clean.

Everything was perfect. And What a lovely host!!!! What a generous heart, he helped us when we had trouble an accident and had to go to the hospital. He drove us to Galle and was there for us. The hotel is super lovely amazing view directly at the ocean. Very cozy and comfortable. All in all on of the best hotel I've ever been inside. At night you hear the sound of the ocean.
Everything was perfect
