It was big, well laid out, interesting room designs, the views, private setting, decent central heating,
Nothing really, the wifi was a little variable although most of the time we got use from it so that’s a bit picky.

Great location to get around Snowdonia and portmeirion. Property is private and cozy.
Nothing about the property but unable to get food delivered.

Our third stay at Morfa Lodge, the previous stays were over two decades ago. Still as wonderful and quirky as before. Since our earlier stays a fabulous kitchen/conservatory/utility room and shower room extension has been symparthetically installed making our visit here even more enjoyable. Private location, parking for up to four cars and great views to the mountains.
Could do with clothes hooks on the bathroom and shower room doors and a lock on the bathroom door. Maybe a couple of dishwasher tablets.

The room spacious yet still cosy .different rooms for individuals to have a quiet moment unique building converted coach house oozing character but kitchen bathrooms well equipped and up to date.
Beds were a little basic could feel the mattes through the sheet could have done with toppers or new mattresses. But ok for a few nights.
Just a minor gripe the TV/ internet couldn't work out which kept buffering which can be frustrating in the middle of a tense drama perhaps more instructions?

Location very good. Very friendly owner. The kitchen and downstairs bathroom facilities were excellent and there was lots of space.
The property is very dark and the dated decor and poor lighting doesn’t help. The beds are small and uncomfortable with horrid spongy pillows.

Fabulous host. Comfortable and quiet property where we could spread out and relax after a day of golf and/or sightseeing. Nice kitchen and laundry facilities. An “1800s cottage meets modern conservatory and kitchen” vibe!
The access road to the property is a bit narrow and bumpy but once we got used to it, we were okay.

it was such a cute, quaint and quirky cottage, we loved the interior very cozy while still having enough space. Good kitchen. Comfortable beds. very clean. Good shower, I loved my bathroom window.
We would have loved to stay longer. Porthmadog itself has nice little shops and what is an amazing visit is Portmerion, where it is like walking into a beautiful dream of an
architect with rich fantasy. Lots of little villages with castles and antiquestores around. Caernaforn is a fortified city worth a visit and you can hike for every fitnesslevel. Wales stole my heart!

Few spiders and bugs in the house, few things didn't work, but all in nothing major

Location was great, just above the town so quiet, but close enough to walk in. The house was roomy and well equipped. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and beds for 6. The kitchen area was modern with an adjoining conservatory. The rest of the house was much older and interesting.

We were left eggs, tea, coffee and milk on arrival. Close to town amenities, easy walk to nearby beach.
Trees could of been cut back around the cottage, made it a bit dark. Unable to see the views as the trees made it difficult to see out. Inside cottage be lighter.

Lovely quirky house in a quiet location. The owner greeted us and it was lovely to hear about the history of the cottage. Many attractions nearby and good choice of restaurants and pubs.
No dishwasher.

This cottage is beautiful, lovely location and alot bigger inside than it looks. Very spacious with lots of antiques and homely decor, a real gem of a find! Loved the original features and that the decor fitted the style of the house. Location is fab as it's only a couple of minutes walk to the main Street, but it is up a steep hill so wouldn't recommend those that struggle to walk to stay here. It was lovely and warm in the evenings and lots of space and areas to sit and relax in. We had such a lovely, relaxing weekend and this is such a beautiful house.
As the cottage is old it is a bit dusty, we can tell it's well maintained and clean but there's a lot of wooden beams which will hold the dust, so it did cause a few itchy eyes and sneezes whilst we where there. The only other thing, although not related to the cottage was that we struggled to find anywhere to eat nearby, which was a bit annoying as there's plenty of cafes, pubs and takeaways but alot either were not open or didn't have staff so had reduced kitchen hours. Everywhere stopped serving food at 2pm Sunday and we only had a choice of chippy or Chinese for tea but we had Chinese from the one at the bottom of the hill and it was really good, would recommend!

Easy parking right by the property. Very spacious house. Quirky details but overall great place to stay.
A larger refrigerator would be helpful. And a dishwasher. But these are niceties and they did not spoil our break.

Morfa Lodge is peaceful and secluded with lovely views over Porthmadog. It is comfortable and spacious, and we all enjoyed its traditional decor. The location could not be better for exploring all the area’s main attractions. Our grandsons were especially delighted with their ride on the steam railway!
We weren’t too bothered by the lack of WiFi as it was good to ‘get away from it all’ for a few days. However, with six of us staying, we would have appreciated having a dishwasher. It was surprising that there wasn’t one in such a large kitchen!
