I like the property, the location, the idea of embrasing nature but for me staff attentiveness and hospitality matters m

its clean and cozy, room has enough space for luggage. I like the cable car rides I like the view of pine trees with snow on them outside of my window

I stayed in the hotel #10 in map. We called reception to fixed our heater in the room because its too warm for us but it took them an hour to arrive (we left the room instead and went for dinner). My friend requested for one more set of towels because we were only provided with one set of towel for 2 adults but it never came. Seems, they dont have enough staffs to guide you in your room upon check in. Also, you would have to carry all your baggages to your room as no one will assist you even if its near the reception. Windows on room#101-106 are all see through from outside.

Great place to stay over the weekend

We love coming to this place in all seasons. Location, view, facilities are very good. The best is the kids center Ugusha. It is really helpful for parents like us, after a half-day activities like hiking, skiing, horse riding kids can be left in this center for another half of the day and we can continue without them while they are having fun and being safe. Thanks a lot!

Food in the restaurants are not that good, local electric cars transfer could be more functional, now its one shuttle per hour

Домик 1206: На веранде разваливающиеся кресла В туалете не работают вытяжка Один из матрасов абсолютно проваленный Телевизор непонятно как включить хотя бы инструкцию повесить надо Подъемник не Включен в стоимость проживания За проживание мы заплатили 65000 тг за сутки’ считаю что за такие деньги все должно быто идеально

A great place for families with kids

A truly amazing retreat in the heart of Kazakhstan's nature, Oi-Qaragai is a haven of trees, snow, and tranquility. It's a rare place in the region, offering a perfect escape into nature. We've visited multiple times, always relishing the fresh air and serene environment. The food here is delightful, with a variety of dining options, though be aware that lunchtimes can be quite crowded. The ski slopes cater to all skill levels, and renting equipment is hassle-free and convenient. Whether you're an avid skier or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, it is highly recommended for its unmatched natural beauty and good amenities.

During our last stay (16-17 December 2023), we booked through their app and got extra beds for kids free, unlike on Booking where there's an extra charge. However, their own app struggles with international card payments and is slow. A significant issue during our first stay: the lift chairs closed 7 minutes earlier than closing time at 23:00, leaving me stranded on the mountain's far side, with unhelpful and rude staff. I have video evidence of this. For our current stay, we were given two single beds instead of a double, and we couldn't choose our house during booking, ending up in the farthest one. Additionally, my partner was denied to work at one table while having a tea/coffee in the less crowded afternoon hours on 20 January, and a window table request was initially refused with misleading reasons (that it is for big gatherings not for groups of 3-4 people), although later granted (after we requested to write a complaint). This happened at Italian & Georgian restaurants. Suggestions for improvement: Enable international card payments on the app, allow choice of houses during booking, train staff for better customer service, consider discounts for guests on-site amenities, and adhere strictly to operational hours. Despite these issues, the place's unique nature and mostly friendly staff make it a good family destination. We hope to see improvements on our return.

Nothing we do not like. There is no lift going to the treehouse, it is better to bring little bag, we brought little trolley bag, but it has no problem to carry it on the stairs going to treehouse.

Not a happy stay

Service and the staff was bad . Imagine we need to climb almost 200 steps with our heavy luggage’s and this was not even informed us before hand . The bell boy who was sent to help us to carry luggage was happily watching insta and watching us carry our heavy suitcases ( my 6year old was carrying luggage)We definitely did not expect this kinda service after paying so much . I will definitely not recommend this resort to any of my crowd

amazing experience however property needs some improvements

location, the idea, concept everything is done with high standards. lady (hostess) from Georgian and Italian restaurant, who makes reservations and meet guests on Enterance, thank you very much. you saved my husband’s birthday. thank you all staff from Italian restaurant, I appreciate your hard work 👏. room has almost all you need (toothbrush, slippers etc) for comfortable stay. nature is incredible. we were woken up by squirrel in the window. thank you to the gentlemen who was chatting on booking platform and to the gentleman who is working with snow tubing in lesnaya Skazka.

there is no safe box in the room. no one explained us about the property, so before check out we had have found out about some facilities. some information we were pulling out from staff, and could not get a proper answer. Some staff doesn’t know what time the restaurant is closed and they were a bit cold so we felt uncomfortable to ask them extra questions. also I’ve been promised to get a birthday compliment for my husband’s bday in the room but it hadn’t been delivered. which upset me a bit

we can ski surrounded by beautiful nature. Children's programs are well-organized, so it's good to enjoy with your family.

First, My family really likes this accommodation. This is the third visit, but this time I want to talk about the problem of the restaurant. I received guidance about 15% discount of restaurant from booking.com. but I didn't actually receive any discounts so far. The restaurant staff said it is not available. (Then he asked me to show me the discount card. I didn't hear any information about this when I checked in.) and than I ask to reception, and she also said i can’ get discount during the accommodation, so AGAIN i ask about it to official Whatapp and booking.com they said i can!! However, even at the last moment of checkout, the receptionist said that restaurant discounts were not available. The communication between the staff is terrible. Please look forward to better service next time you visit.

Lovely tree houses. Small but cosy. Super clean. Nice rope park and zip lines. Unique location.

Service in Italian restaurant for dinner. The waiter spilled my lemonade, neither said sorry not offered to replace my drink. I can give him the benefit of doubt because he didn't speak English but I am not giving him that because his body language was not apologetic at all. Unacceptable behaviour. The drivers of the buggies that drop you to the rooms didn't offer to carry our luggage over the steep steps to the tree houses. Had to ask them repeatedly. Need more English language soaking staff. Bathroom didnt drain properly and the hair dryer used to shut down after a min of operation.

Beautiful landscape. Decent breakfast. Fresh air. Friendly and overall polite staff. Comfortable room.

Was quite hard to get to my apartment(tree house), I had a heavy luggage and needed to bring it on like 4th floor. The food was mediocre at best. When I ordered food to my room first time - the guys who brought it didn’t give me the change and said they would do it later - never saw them again. Also not very pleasant to go around the location because of terrain. Hard to catch a taxi back to the city. I heard loud music in the evening in my room.

Huge letdown

Location is good. Facilities are ok.

Before this visit we've been in this resort about a year ago. And it feels like that the staff and restaurant became much worse. Food quality in restaurant was very low - French fries were over seasoned - Meat in Manty was was super tough, I've never had worse Manty in my life - We could order Plov, because apparently it finished - There was a raw potato in my soup Service - It used to be that you can order food from all of the restaurants in any of the restaurants. But for some reason they stopped doing that. Which in my opinion is very confusing, since as far as I understand all the food is made in a same kitchen. So they didn't allow us to order food from Georgian restaurant into Ethnic restaurant. - It seemed like they were preparing for a large party when we came in to the Ethnic restaurant, and it was impossible to get any of the waiters to attend us. - The waiter in a Storia restaurant had an attitude issues. - It was impossible to get anyone to answer they alleged 24 hour contact phone at 22:30. I forgot what the breakfast hours were, and literally spent more than 30 minutes on hold trying to reach their contact center. - The cleanliness of our room was iffy - it was impossible to get a good night rest because someone was singing very loudly almost whole night long, and seems like none of the staff asked them to quite down to not bother other guests.

A bit underwhelming

- Beautiful scenery & good hiking opportunities - Good massage - Quiet

- The service was not amazing, both in the hotel and in the restaurants. - The food in the restaurants was nothing special, given the price. - The breakfast was unimpressive. - Everything is charged extra so really you pay for the room and breakfast only, which makes it pricey for Kazakstan. - Whilst the resort has good hiking routes, the staff really discourages you from going without a guide (for an extra charge of course). This is strange, as at least some of the routes have very good signs and paths. We hiked to the Boar Lake, and I really don't see the reason why we were so discouraged. The route had signs everywhere along the way and there was only one path to follow. - The staff was reluctant to advise on the hiking & there were no detailed maps of the area available. This means before you actually go hiking, you don't know what to expect. - We rented a tree house, but the way to it was a long way up the steep stairs. Getting up the stairs with luggage was a real challenge, which took us about 40 minutes. I don't think this is acceptable and I am not sure how older people are supposed to handle the ascent.
