We enjoyed your home immensely. It had everything we needed. When I had a question, your response was very quick and I appreciated that. There are many wonderful things to do around your area and believe me when I say.. we hit most of them in our 4 week stay. 😊 Very much enjoyed the Nature Coast. Thanks again.

Absolutely perfect place to stay! The home was very clean and well stocked with essentials. Our host was wonderful and responsive to any questions or needs that came up. You won’t want to stay inside at all! The porch has the most beautiful view and spectacular sunsets! We kayaked and fished, seeing dolphins, otter, manatee, and many different birds! Aripeka is a sweet little community but only minutes from shopping and entertainment. There are two Preserves nearby with great walking trails. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return soon! Five stars and highly recommended !!

This the second time we have reserved this rental. If you have teens that love to fish and love nature and the outdoors…This is the place. I love that I can see my teens from the balcony, when they are all go-go-go and I can relax knowing I can see wherever they are in the bay… I seem to have great quality time with them with out the hustle bustle juggling work and school. We have definitely made some good memories, and that fact that we can bring the family pet along, is just icing on the cake…Our first trip their the kids found a couple sunken boats, they felt like the Pouges on the movie OuterBanks, this trip they found and island to camp on… can’t wait for our next adventure….

The house is comfortably furnished, and offers stunning views of the Gulf, sunsets, and mangrove-fringed saltmarshes that teem with wildlife. We were entranced by the manatees basking in the warm spring that bubbles up in the Gulf, dolphins frolicking in the shallows, the birds...
If you're able to pry yourself away from the views, you'll discover that you're in a great position to access the attractions of "The Nature Coast" and the Tampa/St. Petersburg/Clearwater/Tarpon Springs metro areas. We enjoyed visiting the barrier islands, beaches, museums, gardens, restaurants... Also, the house is convenient to many provisioning options such as Publix, Wal-Mart, the local farmer's market...
This is a special place with a gracious host. Thank you, Heather, for sharing it with us!

This place is exactly as pictured, plus clean and well stocked with towels, paper products, cooking utensils - even games and books! We headed to the nearby Publix the first day to get groceries and we could pick up anything we forgot at Norfleet's, which was an easy stroll down the road. Maybe the one thing that was a surprise was that the view was far better than the pictures lead you to believe - the bay is closer, the water crystal clear, and the sunsets amazing! Despite the cool temps (coldest Christmas in 30 years while we were there) we got out on the kayaks (you must do this) and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and the nearby nature preserves. We recommend the mermaid show at Weeki Wachee (not as hokey as you might think), and this time of year the manatees were everywhere. While it was a bit chilly to spend much time on the porch, the big windows allowed us to enjoy the sunsets from inside while we savored family time and delicious meals. The host, Heather, was accessible but inobtrusive and we had no need to bother her. This place was perfect for our needs, which was to spend time together and enjoy nature. If you are looking for beaches and high rises, this won't be for you, but if you want to getaway from the city and unwind, you can't beat The Point at Aripeka!

Memories to cherish a lifetime. Had the best time.. our teen boys found an old ship wreck, I caught a beautiful sunset, and had dolphins come up to my kayak, and the boys caught a snook… hoping to make this a tradition next year

We had a lovely few days at the Point, a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life that hit the spot! Stunning view overlooking the mangrove islets in the bay, a sweet kayaking paddle. Definitely hike the sandhills trails of Weeki Wachee Preserve, and check out the hidden gem of the Nature Coast Botanical Gardens in Spring Hill. And thanks to Heather, our excellent host for providing us this opportunity to get away from the fray!

We had such a wonderful time! Beautiful views, very clean. Heather is a terrific host and such a nice lady. Location was great for us as my mom and grandmother were 20 minutes away. Visited Homasassa Wildlife park, lots of time with family and weather was great! Mid to upper 80’s

We stayed here with our kids and my elderly mother, it was a great stay!
We had great communication with the host prior to and during the stay.
We arrived to a very clean house, which exceeded our expectations. The house was bigger than we expected and had everything we could need as far as accommodations. The kitchen was great, the washer and dryer were newer, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were very nice (great water pressure in the showers).
We enjoyed being on the marsh and the views of the gulf, we saw a dolphin in the marsh one night at sunset. I was able to use one the kayaks for some exploring the marsh.
The neighborhood was quite and close to a natural preserve. If you enjoy nature and old Florida, this is a great place.
I look forward to bringing our family back and exploring the natural amenities with our family. We definitely hope to stay here again in the future!

Everything inside the house was modern and well taken care of. Great attention to detail and lots of love was put into the place. It was large and convenient for our family of 4. Kids shared queen size bed, but there is also a pull out couch if needed. Absolutely loved the little beach outside. It is on the canals of Aripeka and allowed the kids to play safely, go kayaking and try a paddle boat. We even saw two manatees swim by from a little bridge. A few restaurants nearby and convenient location to drive to many attractions. Our favorite restaurants were Brian's Place nearby and Katarina's 30 min away. Also easily visited:- 1 hr to Tampa- 1 hr to Dali museum - 40 mins to Manatees and Homossassa state park - 30 mins to Tarpon Springs- great Greek community The host Heather replied all messages within minutes and was very helpful. We were able to borrow kayaks and paddle boats- thank you! Lovely local children. Our 11 year old made new friends :).Thanks for a wonderful vacation!!

Early morning coffee on the deck watching fishing boats leave, otter swimming in the little canal, a flock of cranes flying and honking! Bed was comfortable, everything we needed. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you for helping to make our vacation so memorable!

My husband, two kids (ages 11 & 9), and I stayed here for Spring Break 2020 and had a blast. We saw dolphins from the deck and then ran out to the kayak to catch them up close and snagged a video of 2-3 dolphins frolicking right in front of our kayak. Highlight of the trip! The house was the perfect size for a our family and was nice and quiet. It was clean, cutely decorated, and comfortable (the beds were great!). I did provide the owner with a little feedback regarding the stocking of household good supplies that could be improved (toilet paper, detergent, etc) and a that a couple of the ceiling fans might need some attention, but those were minor issues overall and didn't greatly impact the satisfaction of our stay. The washer & dryer worked & lookedgreat!A little boy (age 8) lived next door and was super excited to have some kids to play with (and we were excited to have someone distract the kids from their screens). My kids and their cousins (who live locally) enjoyed jumping off "the dock" into the water and playing in the sand.During our stay, in addition to the aforementioned kayaking, I enjoyed a daily walk in the nearby area, we visited Tarpon Springs and their newly relocated aquarium (small but very hands on and fun), did a tour in Crystal River to "swim with the manatees" (basically swimming while you searched for manatees that blended in the water, so hard to see - fun, but not sure if worth the money - we were expecting something different), played on the inflatable water obstacle course at Sunwest Beach (my kids LOVED this - the beach is free (other than the $5 day parking fee), but the obstacle course cost $15/person for 45 minutes), and visited family in nearby New Port Richey (HIGHLY RECOMMEND the newly renovated Sims Park if you have kids - it has an awesome shaded playground, room to run, and a splash pad - plus, a walking path and an nearby ice cream shop - also went to the Urban Air trampoline park there which has way more than just trampolines). My husband wanted to enjoy a fresh seafood feast, so we walked to the nearby Aripeka Stone Crab Co (open Wed-Sat) and bought large stone crab claws and fresh fish fillet (they cook the crab claws for you & we cooked the fish at the house) and it was delicious. The owner, Heather, was super responsive to my questions and the house was just perfect for our needs. It's well-stocked with books and games. The only additions I could think to add would be a hammock and a grill!

We came to Aripeka because of the location. It was close to the water and in a lovely spot plus it was a quick drive to see family. We had never stayed in a stilt house. The house was very clean, well equiped and a lot of fun to stay in. Super location, so much fun to sit on the porch and just chill. Loved it.
