Great experience

Roberta is a great and helpfull host. She dedicated her time to explain all about Cala Gonone, shops, beaches and all sort of practical info. The apartment was very spacious, clean with an amazing view from the kitchen. Toys for kids were available including beach toys. We also couch use a beach umbrella and beach towels. The kitchen was very well equiped. It was a very comfortable stay. The nearest beach is very close to the apartment. At the same time the house is located far from city noise.

Our home in Cala Gonone

Just loved our stay here in a really homely and spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was quite rustic, with lots of lovely ceramics, paintings and retro furniture - mementos of the family that has lived in this building for years. It was clean, very comfortable and located in a quiet street about 5 minutes’ walk from the waterfront, beach and restaurants. Both bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of space for storing clothes and other luggage. Bathroom was renovated, spotlessly clean and a decent size with good shower pressure. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to cater for ourselves during our stay. As we were on a long trip, access to the washing machine on the ground floor was also very helpful. We especially loved the small balcony where we’d eat most meals or have a lazy beer in the afternoon looking up at the beautiful mountains that overlook Cala Gonone. Parking was on the street in front of the apartment and we never had an issue finding a spot to park. Wifi worked well throughout our stay. Roberta was such a wonderful host, and made us feel extremely welcome. She was always available in the lead up to our stay and provided great advice about things to see and do in and around Cala Gonone. In summary we loved our stay here and would absolutely stay again given the chance.

Excellent stay and excellent host

Upon arrival we were greeted by one of the nicest ladies we ever met, the owners mother. She showed us around our apartment and how everything works. She made us feel like family right away and always made sure everything was fine. The Host had excellent communication with us and gave us multiple recommendations on activities and must sees in the area. The apartment was huge, well equipped and super clean . We really loved being welcomed in a traditional Sardinian house by real Sardinian and treated like family !! Will come back again for sure!

Comfortable home for long stays.

- Electronic shades for completely dark bedroom - Spacious apartment - Completely new bathroom - Organisation and Hints via notes are very helpful - Quick response of Roberta to questions via WhatsApp eventhough she was not around - City centre as well as port and beaches are in walking distance

- Kitchen equipment needs to be renewed - Matresses are old - Pillows are too hard (eventhough we kinda like harder pillows)

Fab flat, friendly hosts, great local info, activities (beaches, snorkel, kayak, eat) close by-go!

The info before arriving was really helpful and Roberta answered all my questions in advance. I got a very friendly welcome and was so well looked after all week. Roberta gave us lots of personal tips, including on where the best locals beach, good range of restourants and taking me to an amazing star gazing spot. Snorkel trips can easily be arranged with Snorkel Cala Gonone, highly recommed as guide is knowledgeable and it gives you confidence and understanding of local conditions. The apartment had a big kitchen living area with fantastic views on two sides-great space for eating and watching sunset/rise with a glass of wine. It is possible to get to by bus from the airport (2 hrs or so for Euro 16), or get an airport shuttle- so you don't have to drive:)

The bedrooms are connected so you have to pass through one to get to the bathroom. The other room is totally private. If you are 2 couple hoping for a romantic time this may not be ideal! For a family or group of friends it is absolutely perfect though. The apartment is a 15 minute walk uphill from the centre of town, and 10 mins from supermarket. If you are not driving then you need to be fit enough for that. There are nice gelateria and cafe's on the way from town to the apartment though... ;)

Will definitely book again.

Exceptionally clean & well maintained . We had plenty of space to eat together as a large group. And a large covered area outside to dry our caving equipment . The kitchen had everything you could need. Roberta was so helpful with information from Good walks to best places to get food .

Roberta is an awesome host, she is extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. As a local she knows everything about Cala Gonone and the area and is always ready to provide you with informations and recommendations. Our appartment was spacious, well furnished and in good shape. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was above our expectations.

Roberta met us right from the bus. Moreover, she accompanied us before with advice on how to get to the city. When we met, Roberta made a tour of the town, showing the shops, cafes, beaches, etc. It gave us a glimpse of the city, and it was great to hear and see it with a Cala Gonone native who had lived there since childhood. When we came home, she told us about all our possibilities, where we could go, and what kind of local food we could eat. She was very open and friendly. Our trip was unforgettable and, in many respects, thanks to this immaculate apartment and, in particular, to Roberta! Thanks a lot!!!

Fabulous

Roberta was a very friendly and helpful hostess. We got many good advices. She was not present all the time but answered all questions fast on WhatsApp. We also had the pleasure of tasting her father's homemade wine.

No real problems. The dishwasher did not work properly and I communicated with Roberta about it. The television was very old and had only few channels, all in Italian. However, we still had a great stay.

Excellent communications to facilitate a great stay in comfortable, well-placed accommodation.

Very comfortable apartment in a nice area. Hosts were very attentive, very keen to know that we were settled in the house and that we were aware of all the many things on offer in and around Cala Gonone. Will definitely try to rebook when we revisit the area.

Charming apartments in a magical town with the most welcoming of hosts!

Location was perfect, a nice quiet street a short 7 min walk from town. The flat was cosy and clean, with a view of the sea from the bathroom window which was pretty cool. We had to take a couple of work calls whilst we were there and the wifi was great for zoom. Roberta is a wonderful host - she helped us book a boat trip, kayaking at the lago de cedrino and had great recommendations for dinners, day trips and beaches which were perfect and less crowded :) We fell in love with cala ganone and this place was a perfect home from home for us to base ourselves during our 5 night stay. We will certainly be back, it is a real treasure!
