About this house rental

This is a cozy (700sq ft), remodeled, single level 1 bedroom duplex and 1 bath. We are just steps to the sand and 4 blocks to Main Street and the pier. The property is a quiet bungalow surrounded by cozy cottages and magnificent mansions. Fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated! This is a 1 bedroom with a king size bed and a trundle bed and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. Includes 1 garage space with washer and dryer.

What a perfect property for a peaceful getaway. My boyfriend and I were looking for something close to the water and this was IT. Steps to the beach, comfortable, clean, and serine. We loved our stay, and will for sure be visiting again. Host was great, and responsive as well. No complaints!

We were in SoCal for a work-related event but wanted some beach time so our grandkids could come and visit while we were there. The little cottage was perfect! We walked to the beach, restaurants, and Old Town. Two of our grandkids visited several times and spent one night with us. The king bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, with a daybed/trundle and sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is a good size and has everything we needed. Erica was accommodating, ensuring we had outdoor parking for our big work truck.

I love Erica’s place. I have stayed there by myself and with my husband. We love how close it is to the beach and town. We also like having a garage to park in. The kitchen is well equipped and the space is large with a great front porch and back patio. We will be coming back!

My wife and I have stayed in Seal Beach many times over the years and somehow this was the first time we stayed here! We really loved the home, the location, the amenities and everything about our stay! Erica was a great host!

My girlfriend and I stayed 3 nights over a holiday weekend. The check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The garage size is perfect for a shorter vehicle, but may be difficult even for some regular sized sedans. The property is long and narrow, but not cramped. It was great for the two of us. The king size bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has ample space to work with. The beach is close enough where you can hear the waves crashing when you are outside (unfortunately we didn't get a chance to really enjoy the beach, due to the weather, but the property is very well situated for beach access). It is also a reasonably short walk to Main St, which has plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Overall, we found the property to be as-advertised and a good value for what we were looking for. I think it's perfect for couples looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a quieter beach city that still has a bit to do.

Super clean unit, amenities were as described, very comfy bed, great shower! Perfect location a block from the beach. All appliances worked. Easy check in. Excellent communication with the owners. Overall a great place to stay and would book this again!

This place was PERFECT. walking distance to town and the beach. I would def highly recommend this adorable quaint beach house. Quiet neighborhood. Had everything we wanted for a couple days to just breathe from a year or chaos. Not far from bigger fun crazy cities … I highly recommend going to Huntington Beach if you want big city and a peaople watching beach.

My son and I were in town for a family event and this little bungalow was absolutely perfect for us. My brother and his wife stayed in the other side of the duplex and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodation. Everything was very clean and the off-street parking was a bonus! We walked to coffee every morning and then down the pier. We enjoyed all the little shops and it was only a 5 minute drive to join the rest of our family. I will definitely stay here again!

It was exactly like the pictures and as described. There was everything possible in the drawers and cupboards and garage. My grandsons loved the boogie boards, and the beach chairs and towels were used daily! I had a question about the parking permit for a guest, and Erica answered immediately. Couldn’t have asked for a better 6 days. Others in my family rented the adjoining cottage and we sure had fun running back and forth and enjoying the patio together. We will definitely return.

We wanted to escape the July Arizona heat and found this gem online. Our first time to Seal Beach. We were pleasantly surprised! The bungalow was supplied with everything we needed, just steps (literally) to the beach. And the shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, the pier, park, etc. etc. are all within walking distance! And the owner was very quick and responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

We love Seal Beach and this little cottage was perfect for our short stay. The heater in the bedroom was super helpful as it was in the 40's at night. We used the beach chairs, beach towels and the washer;/dryer. Everything we needed was provided by the host! Just a couple of comments that pertain to things that are mostly out of the host's control. We would have liked it if the berm was not there blocking the beach, but we knew there was a chance that might happen. Also, the party sharing the other half blocked the garage so we had to speak to them about that. They said they could not park on the pad because of the concrete "drop off" which would damage the front end of their car. We agreed that the drop off needs fixing--we would not have tried to park our car there because the front end is very low.

Seal Beach is a lovely quiet beachfront community and this cottage is just like home while we're there - this was our second visit. We cook most meals at "home" and this kitchen is well stocked with great grocery stores nearby and plenty of restaurants too. The back patio, garage and laundry (including baskets) lend to the overall comfort. There were quests in the shared wall unit next door who had an infant but we could barely hear them. Overall a comfortable place to be.

The property was really close to the beach and the downtown shopping and dining area. We could walk everywhere. Cute town too. Family rented the other half of the unit and it was great for hanging out together. Loved that they had tissues everywhere and the good paper towels and T.P. :)

This was our first family vacation since the start of COVID. It was also our first since our youngest was born. This house was was absolutely perfect! There was a large, comfy bed in the bedroom for us, and then two twins in the living room for the kids. We loved the location! The beach was mere steps away. The kids loved the beach toys. It was an easy stroll down to Main Street and the pier. The host was very communicative. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Hit the hottest days this summer so far and we came from Az. To escape the heat. Nights cooled off and our place was very well equipped with fans and a window unit so we slept well. Very well stocked unit and owner Erica extremely nice and informative . Walk out back door and turn right or left for 5 houses(same either way you go) then turn toward beach and your on the sand. Great location for beach and close to downtown.

This cottage was in a perfect location to enjoy the beach and the great downtown area. Comfortable and fully equipped. Charming beach decor and updated , fully equipped kitchen. Pleased to have a very comfortable king size bed, air conditioning , garage and washer dryer in the garage. Only problem was a Roku TV . Not able to access regular programming. Need a Smart TV.
