We loved the location of the property on the edge of the old town. The view from our balcony was incredible looking towards the snow mountain. The staff were extremely welcoming, we would definitely recommend.
Nothing.

nice place to stay and explore the old town of Lijiang

The place is very well located at one of the entrace ways to the old city of Lijiang. The operator speeks English fluently. I could use the washing machine. The breakfast is a simple chinese breakfast taken in the small area next to the reception. It might get crowded if the place was fully booked and everyone wants to have breakfast at the same time, but we had no such issue. We were travelling with our dog. Although having to go up a small stairway, it also was a happy stay for the dog. I would stay there again.
The beds in China are harder than is comfortable for me.
Even with the map provided by the hotel we did not find the restaurant indicated - not a problem as there a many restaurants around, but next time I would use an electronic map instead.

The location was great, the room was comfortable. The room had a fantastic view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, there was also a very nice bathtub. Overall, it was a very good room and a nice way to finish our stay in Yunnan province. The host was super helpful and spoke great English.
We had to walk up the hill a bit to get to the hotel. It wasn't that big of a deal, though and I think we could use the exercise anyway. It wasn't that big of a deal. Nothing else was bad, it was all great.

My third time at this hotel. Always happy to stay here. Good value for money, a perfect location to reach whatever you want, an outstanding Jade Dragon Snow mountain view. And helpful, English speaking owners. + a good breakfast
Nothing not to like!

Cool, comfortable rooms, good mountain view of a clear day. great location (access to a quiet gate of the old town, and a main road). very helpful owner - got us onto a mountain tour last minute.
Breakfast was small and plain, but that’s the Western point of view

A Chinese breakfast of congee, corn, buns, hard boiled eggs, and tea. It was quite good.
A few steps and a hill to get there, but that's how the entire town is. It was no problem, and it was pretty close to the major street where the didi dropped us l.

The aircondition didn't work properly

Located very conveniently near the ancient city and easy access to get a taxi. The owner is super nice and kind, he can help to book tours/cars to get you see the iconic places around. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the internal courtyard is really relaxing
the breakfast is ok but the portions are quite small and it’s the same everyday, anyway fruits and biscuits are available all day at the reception

Location was great - on the road next to ancient town but make sure to pin the location to your phone before going to ancient town - you can get lost. Room was beautiful, spacious, nice view of mountain. Bed was comfortable. English speaking staff was very helpful.
The room was absolutely freezing. The a/c heating wall unit thing did nothing to heat up room, it was very drafty. I had to use the hair dryer to keep my hands/feet warm. My laptop was an ice cube, my shampoo semi-froze in bathroom. Felt like I was camping, temperature was below zero Celsius. Western options at breakfast would be nice.

That was a week like in a resort. The hotel owners obviously know what the word “hospitality” really means. Because I stayed longer than 3 nights, a private driver picked me up from the airport to the hotel. The room had a bathtub, a shower, a balcony with a swing and a Jade Dragon Mountain View, a set of eco-friendly furniture including a round bed for couples. The bedsheets and everything was extremely clean (my respect to the friendly and smiling ayis working there!), like in a 5-star hotel. And all that for a very economy class price! A simple but nice Chinese breakfast was also included: some sweet buns, corn, porridge, coffee or tea. The location is fantastic: it’s a 5-minute walk to the check-in gate of Dayan old town (where they check green codes and stuff) but it’s actually still in the old town, just with cheaper restaurants. It’s also 30 meters from the main street where you can take a taxi or a bus, but very quiet, though! And last but not least, the Yue Tu Inn is just the opposite of Peter Goullart’s House, one of the first foreigners who lived here and wrote a book about local life and people, “Forgotten Kingdom”. As a cherry on top, the hotel owners helped with booking one-day tours, cheaper than anywhere in travel agencies around town. They can speak English very well and have very friendly personalities. They made this trip wonderful and relaxing. Unforgettable Inn! 十分感谢!
Absolutely gorgeous. Nothing to say.

I returned to this hotel after a week in another city to stay overnight and fly back home. And I couldn’t even think of any other places to stay. The room was different from my previous stay, just a garden view, but still soooo comfy and clean, and a very nice eco-design! I love this blue colour. Huge, huge respect.

Location is very good, very close to the entrance of the ancient city. There are many restaurants and markets close to the hotel. The room was clean. The receptionist speaks good English, helpful when you ask something and arranged a tour to the mountain with a reasonable price.
Walls are thin, we listened to the stories that our next door neighbor told to his kids.

Flight was delayed 3 1/2hrs and they maintained contact to ensure pickup which was arranged through them. Simple but healthy Chinese breakfast.

Wonderful hosts, great Tea and welcome drinks. and plenty of useful information. Free fruit and snacks for all to try. Great location at the edge of Old Town. A few steps to climb, but nothing major. Nice size rooms, and we got a free upgrade due to quiet season.
Nothing, everything great. And meets expecations.

Good location, friendly staff, comfortable, good-sized rooms. Staff offered good guidance on stuff around Lijiang (I was looking for hiking trails).
Wifi is a bit slow. Coffee isn't the best, but that's not a big deal.

Staff were exceptionally helpful in organising transport, maps, information and were very helpful when one of us was sick. The location is great for exploring all Lijiang has to offer.
The room was quite cold, but this was managed with some warm air con. However the bathroom was very cold. We asked for an extra duvet which helped solve this.
