We really enjoyed Anne’s house. It was very well appointed and everything you might possibly need is already there. Love the ambience and the proximity to Melones Beach and town. Anne is a sweetheart. The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning. Otherwise everything was fantastic.

Melones beach ( a short walk) is the best! Saw 3 octopi - a sand shark, a turtle.
Susie’s restaurant was a special experience
The pastel house has a wonderful ocean breeze and sunset views.
Already miss the island!

We loved staying here! A fun, cute place for us. Such an incredible location! Quick walk to Melones. Easy to get to town. Ann was so easy to communicate with and helpful. She even gave us some muffins and butter because we arrived too late to make it to market.

NOT quaint. This house is run down and furnished with what appears to be castoffs, like a frat house. One bedroom is acceptable, but the smaller bedroom is a very confined space. No window treatments in the living room/kitchen on the sun side of the house. They forgot to provide towels. There is no air conditioning, but there is a ceiling fan in every room. If you are greatly affected by the heat or if you want a very tidy clean rental this is not the place for you. Thankfully the owner only charged us for the first night and refunded us the rest of our rental fee. Positives - very close to Melones Beach which is wonderful, and the manager was very good about getting us a prompt refund.

A few minute walk to the best snorkeling spot on the island which also has gorgeous sunset views. Very close to town but felt quiet and private. Ann was a wonderful host and we hope to come back to enjoy more time at her beautiful place!

We found Pastel House very appropriate for our needs. We made most of our dinners and appreciated the full kitchen. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. We loved the shelves in the bedrooms for our suitcases and clothes. We appreciated being able to use beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. Because of the northeast wind, Melones Bay was a wonderfully relaxing beach a short walk away. The owner was very attentive to anything we needed.

The casita is Fantastic !! Probably one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. It’s cute and cozy, very well equipped, in a great location (3-4 min walk from Melones and very close to the restaurants etc). I really enjoyed my stay and hope to be back soon!!!

The pictures don’t do this spot justice. The view is incredible for sunrise and sunset. Walking distance to town and a beach with amazing snorkeling/the best sunset spot !
Anne was an amazing and kind host. Would happily stay here again

My adult daughter and I stayed here during the first week of January and it was gorgeous views and so close to the beach and town! We walked to the beach once and to town several times before getting a Jeep (that Ann recommended). The kitchen had everything we needed and the property was clean and had more than we could have imagined we needed (like snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, beach umbrella).
Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a family emergency, and Ann, who had been already extremely helpful to us, providing us with information about the island, jeep rentals, and answered all of our questions, went above and beyond in helping us. Ann was so kind and compassionate, giving us any information she knew so we could navigate my father's extra special medical needs (staying in another place on Culebra) as he was urgently taken to San Juan. She brought us a blanket, explained what she knew about the hospital systems in PR, and even checked in on us after we left the island!
I look forward to coming and spending more time in Culebra seeing all the island has to offer. I am hopeful that we can stay with Ann again. I cannot recommend the property enough, especially the host with the most, Ann!
Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the Pastel Casita, but it has its quirks. Because there's no AC, the windows are always open and fans need to be running anytime you're there (and we were there in December). The screens on the windows are good and tight, but there's inevitably going to be some gnats / mosquitoes / little flying bugs that make there way in -- especially at night when the lights are on inside. That's island life. We needed to be covered in mosquito repellant to use the porch. Ann had lots on hand and brought us extra -- she was really friendly and helpful.

My friend and I decided to go to Culebra In hopes of practicing our Spanish as well as an excuse to explore the island! What a beautiful island! The property manager, ANN, is fabulous! She always communicated quickly with us before and during our stay about ANY questions we had, she even met us at the house to show us everything including reviewing a map with us so we knew where everything is on the island! The house is away from the congestion of downtown, but only a 5 minute drive from there &/or the ferry, about 10 minutes from the airport, and 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. The views from the upper deck on the roof of our Casita had amazing views which enhanced our cocktail hour as well as the beauty of viewing the stars at night. There are games, books, and snorkeling equipment available too. The house needs a little maintenance & a few upgrades, which the owners are tending to now. In fact, after we left, they were having someone coming in to redo all the decks! There are chickens in the neighborhood, so the roosters do crow often - but I grew up with chickens so it didn't bother me much! I look forward to returning to this beautiful island and only can hope I can stay in this casita again!

We absolutely loved the casita. It had a beautiful view. It was a little hot because we were vacationing during July. I notified Ann, the manager and immediately she said she would bring us a fan. The next day while we were out, we returned and Ann had purchased a fan for us and it was so much better. We were also able to use the washer and drier. I loved everything about the location. At night the weather was amazing. We would definitely return to casita pastel. The only thing I did not like was all of the sand fleas that were at Melones Beach. We all got bit by the sand fleas we we weren’t able to enjoy the beautiful sunset, but Ann was kind enough to allow us to go to the rooftop balcony. She was very accommodating and kind.

We loved our stay at Playa Sardinas. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, and we awakened to the sun and breeze every day. In the evening we sipped wine and watched the sun set over Melones Beach. Everything is nearby in Culebra, but the town was only a few minutes away. And Ann was a great resource when we needed advice. We would definitely come back.

my friend and i stayed here for 8 days and it was everything i had hoped for. we didnt have access to a vehicle and we booked this casita bc it seemed we could walk to the beach and to town. we could! the beach is fantastic for snorkeling. the town has great restaurants. the house itself is super sweet and comfortable with the best feature of being able to watch sunset from the porch. communication with the house manager was exceptional--she was in touch with us immediately whenever we reached out and gave us lots of helpful advice about the island. the kitchen is fully functional and we cooked a fair amount. the house is simple but very tidy and cheerful. i will return very soon! im grateful to have found it!!!

The owner was easy to communicate with. The view is beautiful. The place itself is suited for someone, not us. We ended up leaving the first day and forfeiting our money for the 3 nights we had booked.

We absolutely loved our stay on this property! The location cannot be beat, a quick walk to town and to Playa Melones and an easy golf cart ride to most beaches, the market and any other service you may need. Ann is a marvelous host -- helpful, responsive and very committed to creating a comfortable stay for you.

The Pastel House has breathtaking views and truly makes the lodging arrangement a “part” of the Culebra experience, rather than just a place to sleep. Amazing sunsets and a constant cool breeze off of the water make this spot perfect! Ann is a fantastic host and communicates early and often as needed! Book with confidence.

Our family loved staying here! It’s an older property, with a comfortable relaxing vibe. There are porches for hanging out, (kids hammocked), and beautiful flowers blooming in the yard. We enjoyed the short walk to Melones for snorkeling and exploring the area by foot. Property manager/host Ann was simply amazing, very responsive and provided good advice for us first timers to the island. We were comfortable and felt welcomed at Pastel House Casita and look forward to returning !
