Easily accessible and close enough to town and the lake. Gate community but still had one night of car drifters in the parking lot

The view. The house wasn’t the best for overall stay.

Always love Shaver for the last 50 years!

My vacation at this property was far from relaxing. Upon arrival, we were greeted with toilet paper scattered by the front door and a strong smell of urine inside. The place appeared neglected, with dirty bedding, grimy walls, and even leftover food particles in the microwave from previous renters. Instead of enjoying my time, I ended up spending most of it cleaning. Extremely disappointing experience overall.

This place is located right at the start of town and is close to the lake and hwy to the other reservoirs and hiking/off-roading/fishing spots. It’s 3-levels with the master bedroom/bath and the second bedroom/bathroom all the bottom level. The kitchen living area is up in the second level and a small loft on the third. Located behind the gates in a very quiet neighborhood loaded with gorgeous trees. It was a great place to come back to after a long day out on the lake and exploring. They allow dogs which is GREAT, but we chose not to bring ours this time.

We had a nice stay.
So many stairs was not expected!
One of the guests had a hardtime with all baths downstairs. It would have been good to have known ahead of time. The main area was comfortable for 6 of us.
If the full 10 people had shown up we would have been too crowded.
Would stay again, with 6 people.

We enjoyed having a gated community. A few fixes, and it would be perfect.

Everything was fine. but made more sense to have the one bathroom on the main living area instead of down stairs

The place is decorated cute. They have the base essentials. Arriving in the dark without having a map of the property was hard as addresses are not lit, and they dont have anything to tell you where the community pool is, so it was a bit of a hunt. Otherwise, it was fine. Sheets were clean, and the location is great for reaching a lake or a national park.

It was plenty of space four our family of 8 and a dog. We loved the space, games and the kitchen amenities. It was a just a quick drive to the lake marina.

Very poor ventilation, place needs repairs

It was perfect with one important note would be, that during the summer one of the bedrooms is very hot as there is no a/c and the room has no windows. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Great location, but give yourself some time to check-in
After a difficult, likely unique check-in experience (security door was locked and no code provided) the property met expectations. The location is great and easy access to the surrounding Shave Lake area. We had 10 people in our party (10 beds) and it was a bit cozy, but the common and dinning areas were more than sufficient for our needs.

Weekend getaway
Nice house, nice location. Had a great time. Would stay here again

Weekend in the Snow
The Good: Excellent location, about 3 minutes down the road from town. Clean. Small patio. Sledding hill right out the front door. Functioning fireplace, heat, and the kitchen had everything you needed e.g., crockpot, Keurig, plenty of pantry space. Tons of dogs in the other condos, so no worries about pets. Lots of young kiddos too - safe area in a gated community. Hot-tub and sauna are all open - during COVID only one family at a time. Netflix available on both TVs.
I wish I had known: Both bathrooms are on the bottom floor - so no bathroom on the main floor. Both bedrooms are on the bottom floor so you could hear EVERYTHING that was going on on the two floors above you (main floor and loft area). If you are a light sleeper and go to bed early, bring ear plugs. Beds themselves were cozy but if you are picky about pillows be sure to bring your own! Everything is a bit dated (that's okay, just know in advance). Bring a few extra towels for the spa, kitchen drying, and of course for pets if you bring them. We didn't have any spare towels with six of us staying.
Overall, it was a nice place considering price and location!

Good stay
House & property were beautiful. Comfortable & had almost everything we needed. We hiked around - enjoyed the rocks. Perfect place for star gazing. Loved the balconies! Close to Shaver Lake. Never could find dish towels so used wash clothes & face towels. Kitchen floor was sticky & left our bare feet black. Oven was so dirty set off smoke alarm on pre-heating. Sliding door on balcony was hopelessly bent... we just moved it out of way. Otherwise very nice place.
