About this villa rental
Our villa is approx 45 mins from Faro airport, situated in a quiet secure golf resort, directly overlooking the golf course with the Monchique mountains in the distance. Parking is available outside the villa. Our villa is situated in a very quiet corner of the Gramacho golf course, with no through traffic and not near the main road.
A wide entry area leads directly into the living room, which continues out onto the upstairs balcony via french doors. The balcony overlooks the private pool, gardens and golf course, and out further into the hills and a distant view of Portimao. There is a dining area complete with piano for the more talented visitor. With comfortable leather sofas providing the place to relax and unwind at the end of the day or when it is just too hot.
On this floor as well as the main living and dining areas, is a well equipped kitchen and laundry, complete with washer, dryer, and access to the garage. On the other side of the living area is the master bedroom, with it's own ensuite bathroom and dressing area, and safe. The master bedroom also overlooks the upstairs garden with a small patio area and air conditioning.
Downstairs are the 2 other bedrooms with direct access to the pool area each bedroom having it's own bathroom. These 2 bedrooms each contain 2 single beds, pushed together to make a double. One bathroom has a bath and shower, while the other has a shower. Both bedrooms have individual air conditioning and french doors out onto the pool area. One of these bedrooms also has a safe.
There is also an extra room downstairs which contains an extra tv for video games, sofa and a small kitchen area for storing drinks with direct access to the pool patio area. A great place for the younger members to spend some time.
The pool is surrounded by mature gardens and a patio, with a small barbecue area to one side and is exposed to the sun for long periods of the day There are 6 sun loungers and several parasols. As well as a table on the upstairs balcony, there is a table and chairs pool side. As of January 2019 there is now the option to have pool heating in the cooler months. There is a pool cover and costs for pool heating will be £170 for first week £90 for further weeks. Currently the temperature seems to be on average about 28-30 degrees. Needs to be booked in advance We are working towards being greener and more environmentally friendly, and our pool heating is provided by air source heat pumps.
Although the villa overlooks the 17th tee box, it's elevated position ensures your privacy, from those trying their luck on the course. But of course there is nothing to stop you taking in the view.
A Table tennis table is available for the more energetic, with the resort also providing high quality golf and access to a tennis court. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the club house, where the view down the 18th fairway whilst partaking of a cooling beverage is highly recommended.
The villa has internet access and a tv/dvd offering many UK channels including sky and BT sports plus other European options. There is no need to bring beach towels as these are provided, and should your party include younger members there is a cot and highchair available (just need to let me know).
There is also a small spa (for a fee) at the club house, with heated pool and sauna and steam room.
The resort of Carvoiero with bars, restaurants and beaches is only 5 minutes drive away, and a small supermarket is within easy walking distance. While a bigger supermarket is less than 5 minutes drive.
The coastal area in and around Carvoiero has some of the most spectacular views along the Algarve (we think) with high cliffs and small bays. There is a lovely board walk above Carvoiero town, and the cliffs are definitely worth an exploration by boat.
Housekeeping comes once a week during the week, and issues (should there be any) are quickly solved by our local manager, who will pop in to meet you.

The four of us had a wonderful stay at Linda and Bruce’s Villa. It was better than we had hoped for! Linda and Bruce were so kind and had excellent communication with us, answering any questions in the run up to the holiday with speed and detail. We had everything we needed at the villa as it was very well equipped. The pool was fantastic and very much enjoyed by the children whilst we could keep one eye on them and the other on our book! Th villa is in a great location for day/evening trips out. Thank you for the memories!

The property Linda had to offer was an excellent location
with amenities within close proximity. Her communication with us was very prompt. Pool was perfect with no need for heat this time of year.
If I had to comment on a couple things needing attention it would be the kitchen could use a once over on corkscrews , knifes ect... needing an upgrade/ sharpening.
Mostly I felt the beds were very basic at best.
Rest is very important to the weary traveler. Two pillows minimum per person I would recommend and an upgrade on the mattresses as well.
Otherwise a perfect Algarve getaway!

Beautiful villa, well maintained and very. Comfortable. Pool area was fabulous.
Lots of space for all the family.
Not a golfer, but the estate was immaculate and the bar/restaurant had a lovely view towards the mountains.
Hire car would be needed to get to town or beach, but easy drives. Supermarkets near by. Excellent communication with owner prior to holiday and easy to speak to management team whilst in Portugal.

On arrival at the Villa we found it to be spotlessly clean and had all home from home comforts, which helped us feel settled straight away.
The Villa owners were very quick to try and solve a couple of issues that arose and kept us updated at all times, which we appreciated.
The Villa has beautiful, well kept surroundings and felt very safe.
We would recommend having a car for getting around, We also used Ubers to get to and from the local towns in the evenings.
The golf course was in great condition for the time of year and the staff at the clubhouse were helpful and friendly.
We are looking forward to returning!

The property is lovely and even better than the photos on line. It is well equipped and any matters that arose were quickly dealt with. The location is excellent overlooking the 16th green and 17th tee. A very quiet location just what we like. The pool is very large and can be heated, which is lovely really morning and late evening when used. We gave it 5 stars because to be honest it was.

What a wonderful home this is in Portugal that I would highly recommend. The Villa was spotlessly clean on arrival, had all the amenities you could wish for and it felt like a real home environment.
The resort was stunning and immaculate and was so near to places to visit and eat.
This has been one of the best Villas we have rented over the last 27 years and that is saying something as we holiday abroad at least 3 times a year.
You will not be disappointed……

This was our first villa holiday as a family, and we couldn't have wished for a better villa. The property itself was wonderful and spacious, and bigger than we were actually expecting. It is beautifully presented throughout and upon arrival was spotlessly clean and tidy.
The outside area did not disappoint either, with ample room around the pool area for sitting and relaxing as well as dining. The pool is plenty big enough for a family to enjoy for either playing or doing some lengths. There is also plenty of space on the balcony for dining/relaxing which overlooks the pool area, with a further private seating area outside of the master bedroom, although this is to the side of the property.
The communication with the owner throughout the whole process was simple and straightforward with Linda providing us with all required information in a prompt and timely manner. Anything we needed we just needed to ask.
Whilst at the villa, the property Manager made a courtesy visit to ensure everything was in order and to our expectations and was available to contact throughout our stay.
The location was just what we were hoping for, somewhere peaceful and quiet, but a short car trip to all the local amenities, such as supermarket, petrol stations, restaurants, and the local tourist destinations along the Algarve coast. It's a perfect location if you intend to rent a car and travel the Algarve coast with the A22 a short distance away which stretches across the whole coast.
It's perfect for couples, families and golfing parties alike, and if we go back to the Algarve then we'll definitely be booking this villa again.

3 couples with 1 infant enjoyed greatly in this amazing holiday house.
Linda provided us swift supports for all the questions and requests. We found one of the shower drain was not working properly, and Linda immediately arranged support to fix the issue.
The house is supper clean and well maintained. It is better than on the picture.
Location is great especially if you are a golf lover. Also the surroundings are very safe.
The night sky is beautiful, the Big Dipper is hanging above the swimming pool.
All in all, I highly recommend this holiday house!

Fantastic pool and very well equipped villa, we had a really nice stay. It was hotter than normal during our stay but the air conditioning helped to keep the bedrooms cool. Owners and local manager were very responsive and helpful.

Great property in central location
Beautiful outdoor space including large, sunny pool and two different patio spaces. The house has a lot of things to love. It is very private and centrally located in the Algarve. On the downside, we would have loved AC in the kitchen and main space although it was great in the bedrooms. Linda was very response to our needs. We would recommend primarily for its outdoor spaces and location.

One of the best
Very well located property to explore across the algarve situated in a beautifully kept golf estate with views across the course.
We had originally booked prior to the pandemic; Linda couldn’t have been more accommodating as we navigated through lockdowns and changes - and her care and attention continued thoughout our stay ensuring we were comfortable and happy.
The villa is very spacious and well appointed; beautiful gardens and a great 10m x 4m pool, rooms are spacious with everything you would expect plus a piano!
The resort office is helpful - happy to print off test results and passenger locator forms which we would recommend you do both ways.
Our best villa stay so far in the Algarve.

There is no other word to describe the property and its location with the word "Well-being"! When we arrived, all family were enjoyed and the first word was "Wow". Linda was very clear a bout instructions and very attentive to questions and Kevin the manager was attentive too on any questions related to the property. Everything was clean, beautiful. The view from the property is relaxing and the heated pool is the cherry on the cake!

We’ll be back!! A dream of a pool and beautiful gardens
We stayed in the villa for 1 week and couldn’t have been happier. The villa was very clean, amazingly equipped with everything you can think of, very spacious, in excellent condition, very comfortable with a homely feel to it.
Excellent communication with owners and and manager and they were very helpful.
Pool is really big and gardens beautifully kept.
All in all this has been one of the best villas we’ve rented and can highly recommend it.

We had a superb time at this property, which was even better 'in the flesh' than online. The villa is set in a stunning location with superb views over the Gramacho golf course, and the pool area was so lovely we hardly wanted to leave the villa. There is tremendous attention to detail in the house with everything very cleverly thought out and every amenity you could wish for. The little touches like 2 safes, inflatables for the pool, hairdryers in the bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen made the stay very comfortable and instantly relaxing. The property manager Kevin was easily contactable and very helpful and Linda the owner responded almost immediately to any questions and requests, she was flexible and accommodating and in many ways the ideal host. We would love to return in the future.

Fantastic getaway
This is our second visit and we were thrilled to be back. The villa was just as we remembered, a really comfortable home from home. Our family joined us on this trip and they absolutely loved it. A fantastic place to kick back and relax. There's not much more to say other than we will definitely be back....I think that's probably recommendation enough!

Amazing house with tons of space and picturesque view!
We had a great time at this VRBO! The pool and outdoor deck is incredible and very nicely landscaped and furnished. The home has updated and comfortable furniture with lots of extras. Beds are comfortable and plenty of linens. We did not take advantage of the ping pong or the golf course, but wish we would have. There is a little store near by and the house has lots of toiletries and coffee! The weather in the summer was amazing and even though the house warmed up, the rooms had great air conditioning and there was a nice breeze.
The host was professional and had someone near by when we had any issues. She was positive and welcoming and Kevin the property manager was very responsive.
We loved the area- you definitely need to rent a car! But go check out the beautiful scenery.

PERFECT!!
Staying at this villa was the highlight of our Portugal-Spain vacation! We intentionally booked some “downtime” in The Algarve between major sightseeing destinations in order to relax and recharge and this home made that completely possible.
It’s as beautiful as the website photos and exactly as described! The master bedroom has an “American-sized” king bed which is not always the case throughout European countries. The other two bedrooms had side-by-side twins and all were fabulously comfortable. All 3 bedrooms had sliding door access to exterior patios. There are three full bathrooms; one of those is a shower (no tub) and it also has exterior access from the pool deck.
The kitchen is very well equipped and the Jumbo brand Supermarket is only a few minutes drive. We cooked-in one night and enjoyed coffee (provided) and cooked breakfast in the mornings. We left the olive oil we purchased in the cupboard as this doesn’t travel well and we thought it a helpful addition to the vinegar (provided). The laundry room appliances and space are also a great benefit; 3 drying racks, pins and laundry soap provided.
For as tastefully decorated and comfortable the interior of this villa is, the exterior amenities are a true gem! Plenty of privacy from the golf course while still being able to enjoy the beautiful views and landscapes.
The pool was clean with many toys and floats provided. Six comfortable lounge chairs, table and 6 chairs on this level plus umbrellas. The upper deck also has a large table & six chairs. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the cozy patio off of the master bedroom — perfect spot for a morning coffee or some quiet time in the afternoon shade.
Our host Linda was very responsive through the reservation process and splendid to work with. Check-in was smooth as the keys are in a lockbox.
Within 5-10 minutes drive we enjoyed the beautiful beaches, many delicious restaurants, Algar Seco & cliff walks and best of all, kayaking the caves along the shoreline (my reviews of those are on TripAdvisor under “4Polos”).
You will want to have a vehicle if staying at this villa; we considered an Uber on one evening but the app said there were only 2 in the area and we were concerned about not getting a ride back.
This is one of the most excellent homes we have rented!

5 Star Luxury
The property is amazing. The house has everything a family would need to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil holiday. It was beyond what we expected through the pictures and reviews. Linda the host was highly accessible at all times and the security and management of the development was Excellent.
We all loved the heated pool and our kids loved the Nintento 64 (although it made us feel old!!!). The house was furnished and prepared to the highest standard.
We will definitely be coming back here again.

Beautiful, well equipped villa with amazing pool
We recently spent a wonderful two week holiday here. This beautiful villa is equipped with everything you need and really makes it a home from home. It is airy and spacious with large, well presented rooms. Our children each had their own bedroom and bathroom and enjoyed playing with the games console provided in the downstairs ‘chill out’ room complete with its own kitchen, large screen tv, sofa and a selection of pool toys. We all agreed the pool was the best we’d been in and spent time in it every day. It was spotlessly clean and was large enough for the children to dive into. There are ample sun loungers and umbrellas for your relaxation by the pool. Eating dinner on the balcony with the beautiful green views was a treat and sitting out at night meant our youngest enjoyed looking at the stars! The kitchen is large, modern and well equipped with a separate utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a good sized flat screen television in the lounge with UK tv and other channels and a DVD player if required. We always felt very secure staying here as the villa has an alarm and the golf resort has a guard at the entrance at night. We enjoyed the odd dinner/drink at the clubhouse which boasts beautiful views and very friendly staff.
All in all we had a great holiday here and really didn’t want to go home :(
We would definitely recommend this luxurious villa and location and will hopefully be back one day!

The villa was beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable and located in a stunning spot.
The villa was equipped with everything a family on holiday would need. The pool area was immaculate with super views over the 16th green at Gramachio and Portimau in the distance. For golfers, the local courses (Gramachio and Pinta) are both excellent courses, well maintained and in great condition, not too pricey either...
The location is perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday but with Carvoiero just a 7 minute drive away you have access to a beautiful clean sandy beach and there are restaurants (our favourite was Pashmina) and shops aplenty.
I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone and we would love to return some time in the future.
I have to add that Linda (the owner) was very helpful with all aspects of the booking process and sending concise information in a very timely fashion Linda was also very helpful whilst we were on holiday too.

Great family holiday
I spent a great 9 nights in your fantastic house with my husband and 2 sons. The house felt like home the minute we walked through the door, it is so well equipped and clean. It is in a great position with a lovely view of the golf course and a short walk to the clubhouse. The maid service was first class. We are all golfers and enjoyed playing Gramacho twice along with 2 other courses close by. The course was lovely as was the clubhouse and the staff were very friendly and the food was good. We would definitely go back.

Excelent 1st class maintained property in an excelent 1st class location
Having stayed at a number of properties in the area over the years, this has to be the best that we have enjoyed. From the first response by the owners on making our reservation to returning after our stay, we cannot fault any aspect. The property is excellently maintained ,in a location adjacent to Gramacho 16th green / 17th Tee, and yet still extremely private. Having stayed in May for a week we are returning in August for two weeks. This is more like staying in a friends personal property rather than a holiday letting.
The level of furnishings throughout (inside & out) are excellent, with attention to detail.
A number of Supermarkets close by dependent on costs & taste, from 5 mins to 20 mins away. A number of restaurants available also dependent on costs & tastes
Molhe – lovely fish restaurant overlooking Portimao harbour, great staff
Rei Das Praia’s – lovely fish restaurant overlooking Praia dos Caneiros beach
Ferragudo – has a mixture of nice restaurants, at the end of the harbour, you can also get a water taxi across to Portimao from here.
In Carvoeiro Wolf and Vila Da Medici are both very nice restaurants.
Sky bar at the Tivoli Hotel Carvoeiro is very nice and has great views
For Golfers -
You will be spoilt for choice ,also the girls on Concierge in the Gramacho golf shop are very helpful.
Gramacho golf course, Pinta stages the Portuguese seniors open and Silves is nice, Not far away (30 mins) you also have Penina and Amendoira which is new.
All in all an exceptional property with outstanding friendly & helpful Owners.
We look forward to many opportunities to stay in the future,

In one word " PERFECTION"
This holiday was an unknown for us as a family! To a country we had never been to before and then onto a property we had only seen a few pictures of.
Did this gamble work? Yes it did and then some...............
The Villa was absolutely superb. Modern, Spacious, (the pictures don't do it justice), spotless (inside and out) and very luxurious.
The Golf Clubhouse was perfect for us to walk to and we enjoyed a drink, or 2, there most evenings. Our 2 boys enjoyed the Thursday night BBQ's there and live music.
The beaches were idyllic and we particularly enjoyed our visits to Ferragudo beach and also the quaint but lively village square.
Would we go back? Yes in a heartbeat! There is so much more for us to see and do and just to know that at the end of the day, if you venture away from the house, that you return back to your own slice of paradise is holiday enough for us.

Perfection in the Algarve
This Villa is in a quiet corner of Gramacho overlooking the 16th Tee. It is the best equipped property we have stayed at (and there have been many). Very clean and comfortable with A/C in all bedrooms. The Pool is large and within a good sized garden which is very well maintained. There is a great deck to dine on upstairs and more crockery and cutlery than you will ever need. Communications with the Owner were prompt and informative. Would definitely stay again.

A very relaxing week in this fabulous villa
This villa does not disappoint. Situated on Gramacho golf course it is incredibly quiet offering lovely views. The villa extremely well equipped and the pool is wonderful. Overall we had a fantastic week and would love to return.

Perfect holiday retreat
The villa was absolutely lovely. You are in a quiet relaxing setting, overlooking the golf course. We were with elderly parents and two teenage children and they had the downstairs floor which was very spacious. The kitchen upstairs was fully equipped, but it would have been good to have another kettle downstairs.
The golf club lay on a BBQ with live music on a Thursday evening. You do need a car for getting about. There are several big supermarkets within 10 mins, along with a mini one on the complex.
The pool and gardens are really well maintained with gardeners and pool men coming once a week. If you have children there are also lilo's and toys to play in the pool.
Carveiro is a 10 minute drive away, and is a really lovely holiday town, full of bars and restaurants (some roads were steep for the elderly) we really like The Wolfe and Villa Medici. Ferraguda is a lovely seaside resort also within 10 minute drive.
The owners were really good to deal with.
We would also recommend Suntransfers from Faro to the resort, our driver lived locally and was really professional and friendly.

Paradise in Portugal
This is one of the best holiday rental villas I have stayed in. It's location is ideal for golfers and non golfers as it is lose to the courses and the beaches in the Algarve. The internal layout provides all the space you would ever need and the quality of fixture and fittings is very high. The photographs do not do it justice as it is unbelievably luxurious as well as comfortable. Externally there is parking space for several cars at the front. The pool and garden area is a real highlight as the views are fantastic down the course and across the hills. There is loads of space around the pool for lounging or playing and the pool is one of the largest you will experience in a holiday rental villa. The gardens and pool are extremely well maintained and there is a great charcoal barbecue for cooking evening meals for eating either on the pool patio or the large upstairs terrace. The bedrooms are all large and each with associated large ensuites. The kitchen provides all you will need for cooking and there is also a large lounge and dining room. There was 6 in our holiday party and we all had a brilliant time staying here and I would highly recommend it.
