fantastic location , great pool

The house has a fantastic pool with great view. Its remote located what i liked, but can imagine if you have no 4x4 you will make remarks on booking review . As i had one for me it was great.

The room did absolutely not correspond to what is showed on the web-site. ofcourse that depends of the type of room you book. But as the price was rather high, you would expect a room with high standard. It was a simple room, with shower problems. The terrace was not cleaned. Kitchen without plates is a café without beer. Poor information at arrival, no manual for locker. The house is not easy to find, even with the info the house mails you in advance is not clear, Town is not spelled correctly and due to that your navigation will not find. When i arrived after 10 PM the first evening the fence was closed. No lighting was on, then to find out where and how the fence opens was a problem. (not for someone who knows the property) The second night no lighting at all in the garden, the studio had 6 steps down, something an owner remembers but not a tourist who is there 1 night. I made a terrible fall down, with serious impact for my 5 weeks journey in Greece. And this could have ended much worse. The following days there was lighting in the garden but even then i saw that the light at my studio was not working. So general conclusion: great place due to the absolutely fantastic location, but the management does not know how to run that kind of business. if you read the reviews of the property you see more that kind of remarks, only you can also read that the management does not seems to realize that customer service is important, surely with that kind of prices.

Exceptional

Great place to stay. Courteous and warm hosts. The place was very cleanwith comfortable beds and great rooms. The heated pool is great. The last 500 meters in front of the villa are a dirt road . We enjoyed our vacation and will be back in the summer

Perfect vacation i for sure came back again

Great place. Very clean and comfortable rooms The manager was kind and helpful in everything we asked for. Amazing view, quiet and peaceful and the heated pool was great. A great way to start the new year - a perfect vacation

Off the beaten track

Fabulous property

It is remote which is a good thing but not when the weather is bad. The dirt track road to the property is really bad so be prepared.

Very nice property! And an amazing backyard/pool!

Well, you should definitely either use an ATV or SUV for the last 1 km. if you are coming with a sport car and/or coupe/fastback -> go to Vasiliki and rent an ATV.

Location and facilities are excellent, the villa administrator very kind, always fast responsive to the guests requests.

Some of the guests do not follow the rules of the house thus affecting others.

Villa with pool where family or 4 people can enjoy pool and privacy

Although it's not easy to understand from description we were staying in separate villa. It gives you enough privacy. It is very nice stone house, modernly equipped with beautiful pool of 4x6m (please take this as assumption only). On ground floor there is a bathroom (with shower), kitchen (I would say fully equipped with big fridge, oven, microwave and number of appliances for coffe or toast), small living area and bedroom with 2 separate beds. On 1st floor it is underroof room with king size bed and bathroom (with shower). Outside is nice sitting area (under the roof, so it is in the shade) with barbecue place and pool. It absolutely met expectation of my family.

Road to the place after asphalt is finished is bit scary in the beginning, but soon you get used to it. Instructions how to reach place could be better. Wi-fi is OK for emails or internet browsing while for Zoom or Teams calls can give you some challenges. And...that's it what I can recall from bad things. Not much :-)

Villa del Mar is situated on a marvelous spot with stunning views. The perfect spot to get these relaxing days to re-charge. You’ll be highly awarded driving on the small and last 800 meter a bit bumpy road.

Strong disappointment with mismatch of the hotel description and the reality not corresponding to it

The only good thing is mattresses. And maybe the silence because there is no civilization nearby.

The whole experience in Villa Del Mar turned out to be very unpleasant. The access to the sea is unaccessible because of broken infrastructure, steps and reails are a totall mess of steel and concrete (due to recent storm as we were told). We were proposed to swim in the pools as "alternative option", and the night we arrived we have seen the frog in the big pool. The distance to nearest beach is 45 minutes walk or 10 minutes by car via a bumpy dirt road. Distance to Vasiliki is 30 minutes drive. The studios are located in the first floor, with villa just over it, patios of villas are adjacent to one another, so there is no privacy. The playground is unsafe for little children, with steps of slide mostly the height of the baby. One swing was broken. The area under the pool looks shabby, with piping over the ground. Hotel management is ignorant, not accepting the problems they have and not reacting. Very unpleasant in communication. The city tax 10% was returned to us because it turned out to be a fraud. Nearest hotels have 0% city tax or 0,5% city tax. I would not reccomend Villa Del Mar for stay longer then couple of days and definitely not for the families with little children.

grate holiday villa

The stay was amazing. The stunning views of amauso bay the mountains and the sea,The villa was very clean ,the kitchen Fully equipped to the smallest detail, The beds and linen the 2 pools and Milla the villa manger all of this All of these created for us enjoyable vacation .

from the main road to the villa you have to drive on a 1.5 dert road - like in ather villas on the island of Lefkada - not for low cars
