Accueillis par Mike et sa compagne un peu tardivement, ils nous ont proposé d'héberger également notre ami. Diner face au troupeau d'éléphant, un instant et un endroit unique et exceptionnel. Merci Mike ... !!

Doing huge efforts to help the animals survive in dry season by filling the waterhole. Therefore great location to watch the wildlife very closely from the terrace. Food was awesome and chalets are spacious and clean.
Prices are high in July

Although we made a booking and paid in advance the property manager weren’t expecting us when we checked in. On all our travels through Botswana, this was the most expensive property to stay at..so we were expecting exceptional service.
That being said, the animal viewing from the upper deck and bar area were suburb.
That we were forgotten at check in/ expected more for $
No kettle in the room.

The location was attractive and interesting , far away from any civilization. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.
.The food was excellent and well served. You need a 4x4 to get there because of the sand.
Highly recommended.
I liked everything.

Amazing and very friendly staff who really tried to make our stay extra special. Givemore the chef really surprised us with creative and tasty dinner and breakfast.
The waterhole is exceptional and you can easily spend days just looking at the wildlife pass by.

Wonderful game viewing, excellent location
Just feel like the lodge was lacking love and was overly Spartan for this price point. Felt more like a hunting lodge with no decorations, no personal touch, and average food more in line with places we have stayed that are half the price.

This is such a well run lodge. The staff are excellent. Management could not be more focused on their guests needs.

Words are very poor to describe how pleasant was our stay at this hidden gem lodge. Everything was unexpected well, starting with the environment, the water dam attracting all the animals (despite the severe drought conditions around) and finishing with the food and warm staff. We travel with our 5 years old boy and everything was a blessing. We highly advice other parents who travel with their kids to assess property if it’s worth to bring their kids in such environment. The lodge is child friendly but the wild animals are not. And other people silence & comfort must be observed. Our son was perfectly adapted, but he is very used to travel and not to have child friendly conditions all the time. Otherwise, we highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone! The entire country is running out of water, but Thobolo’s lodge, with 3 bore-wholes, are feeding hundreds of animals daily. We were blessed to discover this place!
Our stay was too short...

Great stuff. Saved our lives. They will organize everything you can do around chobe and Victoria Falls. Meals at least as good like in first class restaurants in Europe even better. Perfect

The location is outstanding. The elephants come to drink at the water hole right below the balcony of the bar area. This is a remote lodge but the wildlife in the area is outstanding. The food and welcome is also outstanding.
The road to the lodge is difficult to manage. You will need 4 wheel drive and deflated tyres.
