The host had no problem moving our reservation. Herby is very friendly. Provision was made for lightning during loadshedding.
I would like to have a hairdryer. The standard room is very small and no stand for a suitcase.

It was clean. Staff friendly and helpful and the Guest House is close to flower fields. Beautiful old home decorated with local art. I can recommend this place.

Character
The property did not capitalise on the theme.
Front garden needed attention.
Needed feminine touch.
Trucks on the main road drove past the property at odd hours of the night.

The owners were welcoming and made us feel right at home. We had a breakdown with one of our vehicles and they went out of there way to assist us where they could. Thanks for that!
This town is known to have an extremely hot climate and so we chose a place with a pool. Unfortunately the owners booked the pool for a group event to "outside" guests. Needless to say the pool was for all practical reasons unavailable to sleep-over guests. Not so nice!

It was good enough for a stop over.
The internet was a bit slow. There were water interruptions when I arrived, it was restored in the early morning hours, after a long drive a refreshing shower was what I was hoping for, but could only shower the next day.
