For the price I paid I got exactly what I thought I would. The family are really nice. You must remember this is not an American style hotel/motel. It felt kinda like a youth hostel. But with a privet room. There is no air-conditioning just a celling fan. Very small bathroom but it is privet and they do supply towel and toilet paper. Your in the suburbs so if you plan to walk get ready for some steep hills. Very safe area. Atleast I felt safe. If you are looking for a 3 star hotel like a motel 6 or the such keep looking. But if you just need a place to sleep and on a major budget this is it
The family

The staff were very friendly.
Cleaning everyday.
Thank you.
There are no mosquito nets in the windows.
On the third floor in the morning a bird flew in and hit the face of the sleeping man on the top bunk. (The guy sht himself, almost fell : ).
Rooms are too small for so many beds.

The owner is a very nice lady. I had a nice long conversation with her. The hostel has plenty of space. as did the room, fresh towels, soap, etc. I just stayed one night, so I didn't use the kitchen. I had orange chicken at the restaurant at the top of the hill. Quite a climb
I enjoyed my stay very much.
The location seems remote, but I hailed a taxi on the street the next morning and he got me to the airport in record time.

nothing
1. small rooms.
2. terrible cold. When it was +8°C (degrees Celsius) outside, it was +15°C in the room.
3. no internet. No wi-fi
4. The hostess who lies. When I began to talk about the discomfort, she said that there was no need to complain, since the room costs $ 8 per day.
In fact, I paid over $20 for day. The deceitful hostess forgot that includes cleaning, 12 dollars !!! In which hotel did you see that cleaning was separate? Cleaning costs more than living.
This is done in order to pay less commission to Booking company and avoid taxes.
5. See how she reacts to comments. In Google maps, everyone who criticizes this place, the hostess calls drug addicts, alcoholics, homeless people.
Think carefully before you go here. It's a rotten place with rude host

The room was very accommodating and conducive for online training, meetings as well as occupation more times than not. The Madam of the Hostel/ Hotel was even kind enough to invite me to view a room in order to make my selection in relation to cost. She is always very obliging.

The room offered me later on my stay was far better than the one prior. I was actually impressed. WiFi connection was better in said room as well. There was a full size bureau with mirror, mini fridge an, armoire, a fat boy size flat screen television equiped for HDMI usage, new paint and a well groomed bathroom. The Ceiling fan was as quiet as a church mouse and able to be adjusted to heat setting. I would have stayed in that room for a month or so. The Madam of the office and her husband (whom I thought were the owners but was incorrect in that assumption) are as pleasant and obliging as when I first met them, especially considering I don't speak the language yet.
Certain guest come into common area adjacent to rooms, totally inconsiderate of others. Excessively loud talking and singing with music playing while others are attempting to sleep or work etc. On one occasion I was in a Zoom conference call and this happened to my dismay. It is unfortunate that some adults seem to need monitoring concerning their decorum lest they run rough shod over others.

Staff were pleasant and helpful
Freezing cold, too cold to take a shower. Beds way too soft, nearly caving in. Rooms were a nice size but tight because too much furniture crammed in. You could barely turn around in the bathrooms. Walls were very thin. I could hear the guy next door snoring.

charge you the same amount as the daily rent for cleaning services and you're supposed to leave your key at the front desk if you want cleaning services but they charge you for it anyway even if you don't leave the key then we can seem like it's optional but it's not they charge you regardless if you leave your key or not. I have never stated a place that charged to clean the room let alone a place that charged the same amount as it charges to stay there. I feel scammed.. don't trust them.. when I complain about it and posted a review while I was there they asked me to leave and said that my room was rented out even though I was already in the room and I reserved it with them orally the day before.. and on my way out I asked for the deposit they said they were going to give it to me unless I took my review back off the internet on booking.com.. so I took my review off and they still get my deposit... I complain to booking.com about this situation and booking.com did nothing and the property offered to do nothing also... terrible stay.. yet another place taking negative advantage of American travelers. they even made up some stained blanket story in revenge to my complaint to booking.com about their keeping my deposit.. there was no stain blanket they were just upset about my review ..but it was an honest review.. the place was cold as ice and you couldn't do anything about it as there is no thermostat control. all the amenities that they list are not in the room, they're in some common area somewhere on the next the room is bare.there's a dresser in it that looks like it's going to rot apart, it sounds like it too when you try to use it..and theres a Tv. just plain old antenna TV with all Spanish channels.and a refrigerator that doesn't keep anything cold. there's some rude drunk lady always about the property making noise day and night..and harassed my girlfriend constantly..

To their credit, they are very nice people that run the place. And they don't hassle you in the mornings, allowing you to sleep in before you decide to stay again or pack-up.And those two things alone make the place freaking awesome, regardless of the false/misleading advertisements and ridiculously high fees.
They charge a cleaning fee that they say is optional, but in fact is not optional because they include it in the initial payment no matter if you clean the room yourself or not.And they don't actually clean the room until after your stay, so they are charging for a service they don't actually provide until after you are gone. And the "daily" cleaning fee is the same amount as the daily rent rate for the room. Also, the "kitchenette" isn't actually in the room, it's on a completely different floor. And it is freezing cold in the room. Without a way to heat the room. And the shower is warm for like, 10 minutes at the most, and has very little pressure. And there is a screaming drunk woman every night somewhere in the building. And no overnight staff available whatsoever.

This family owned place is nice and the family is very inviting and helpful. They go out of their way with a 😃 to insure you feel very welcomed
If I had to choose something it would be there wasn't a refrigerator available in the shared kitchen

The owners were very pleasant to deal with. Compassionate, understanding and very accomodating in respects to my circumstances. In some instances eben above and beyond their operational policies. For that iam grateful. I will be back to visit and partake in their hospitality again iam sure. I give them a round of applause.
Some of the guest were incosiderate to others staying there in regards to noise level in common areas, in parking lot and slamming of entrance door all through out the day.
