Perfect Comfort

I was shocked, even when I sent Jerry a WeChat message in the middle of the night, he would reply to me. I forgot to give me the bill when I checked out, and he patiently asked me which one I needed. I'm sorry for wasting half an hour, but the matter was perfectly resolved. Thank you very much. Also, I mentioned the pastry chef I met when I checked in, who gave me a cheese cake，is delicious.

You have already done a great job.

一年下来住了五六十次了，说说我的感受吧，大堂服务是有没有问题的，特别是陈成，从年初开始住到现在，但是也有不足的地方，酒店的洗漱用品用完以后打扫卫生时会给我扔掉，而且不会补新的，卫生方面也没有做到很好，酒店行政酒廊还是很棒的，喝的吃的都很喜欢，酒店早餐是每次来必吃的，但是体验会有很大不一样，钟经理会给人一种很舒服，被服务到的感觉，但是另外一位女士我就不敢恭维了，基本没有服务，问东西在哪里会很不耐烦，大堂吧在退房等车时会坐一会儿，服务员都很热情的问我要喝什么，我觉得可以给8分，但是这次还是给十分，希望下次来能看到更好的改变，还是十分感谢陈成在这一年入住期间的帮助

有些方面仍需加强，希望25年越来越好

在上海最常住的酒店，礼宾部Jerry Mars John服务很好，酒店的行政酒店风景很棒，Evan很友善，早餐有个胖胖的厨师很有意思，值得推荐

Excellent hotel, excellent service

Spacious rooms, we asked for connected rooms which they gave. The rooms are very clean, bed is one of the most comfortable and large, bathroom is also very spacious abd clean. Location is also very good. We had a chance to visit executive lounge which is relaxing before our long flight back home. The staff is very helpful to answer our occasional requests/questions despite language barriers.

Wifi could be much better. The breakfast can be better, example the fried dough or fried sesame ball, they are soft, not crunchy. The porridge was cold, the heating was off and none check that. They can also add some variation to improve the overall experience. The last point is not so much the hotel can help. The smell of cigarettes sometimes bother us. A lot less in our rooms (thanks for the air purifier).

Отличное месторасположение рядом с метро. Рядом есть магазины и кафе. Очень понравилось наличие открытого бассейна, можно было приятно провести время в жаркую погоду. На завтрак есть европейское и китайское меню, разнообразное и вкусное. Номер просторный с видом на город. Большая ванная комната с душем и самой ванной. Очень удобная большая кровать, белье и полотенца меняли за 5 дней несколько раз. Персонал на ресепшене говорит на английском и готов помочь в любом вопросе.

酒店服务很好，礼宾部帮我收了几次快递，态度特别好，还帮忙送到房间，早餐也很好吃，特别是兰州拉面🍜，房间打扫的很干净，还帮我们升级了行政房

酒店的洗护用品不太好用，特别是洗发水沐浴液，洗脸台下方没有垃圾桶有点不方便

Very comfy stay.

The room is big and very comfortable. Pillow menu, auto curtains, rain shower. Desk for work, good size and TV menu.

The service by staff varies from friendly and not that warm. One of my bath towel has hole. Not that convenient though near subway, have to change line for attractions. Off the centre, so if you want to take taxi will cost more.

OK, could have been better.

The room & location and staff were great.

On checking in, we were informed that the pool was closed. This should have been communicated to us sooner, we may then have changed our booking. The breakfast was not as good as when we stayed here in 2021. (Perhaps this has to do with the current economic environment) However, it was somewhat disappointing.

Not what I expected!

The best part about the property was that the bed was very comfortable. Outstanding! The bathtub was also a nice size. The property was in a great location for the many places that I like to go and visit.

There were many things that I didn’t like about this hotel. The first thing is the executive lounge. It is closed which is understandable due to pandemic control. However, it was advertised that it was open and functioning as normal so it was a big let down when we arrived and it didn’t offer any benefits (part of the reason we booked a more expensive room). The staff working the “1st of loot lobby area for happy hour was also very rude!) Also, the pool was crazy packed and there were no amenities in the locker room. The locker room was the size of a toddler room with maybe 6 lockers. It was noted that only hotel guest would be allowed to use the pool but we’ve seen and talked to many who stayed that they were only there for the pool. The next thing was the smell in the air vents. Every morning we were woken up to a disgusting smell of sewage throughout our room that would linger for many hours. The hotel food is very misleading as well. They only offer a few options off of their menu which they don’t tell you about until you go to order your food. The last thing that was very displeasing was the front desk staff. There was a new shift manager that was working ( I’m pretty sure his name was Issac). He was kind the first day and gave us these nice offers due to the misleading information that was provided but he failed to follow through with any of these offers. Even though we checked back with him. All in all, I will not be back to this hotel. Very disappointed with my stay.

Disappointing

The location, breakfast, and room service There are two restaurants including a Thai restaurant and a Starbucks coffee shop.

The check-in staff and housekeeping staff didn't know what they are doing. We were checked into a small room even though we booked a twin room with 2 adults and 2 children. The front desk staff did not speak any English and was not interested in helping. They took RMB 3000 advance from my credit card and we had to change to three different rooms before they can get us to the correct room. The housekeeping staff didn't clean the rooms and we had to ask for the towels every day as they only left two towels in the room. At the end of our stay when we asked for fapiao and gave them the information to create a fapiao for my employer, the front desk staff ignored everything and created a fapiao for a different company. I had to send the document and still not sure if they can send the correct fapiao for me.

Wonderful Oasis in the Middle of the City

We loved the rooms, super spacious and the bath was pure luxury. The outdoor pool was an inner city oasis. The breakfast was a super relaxing experience and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The only food we ate at the property was the breakfast. I had read reviews that it wasn’t very western/vegan/vegetarian friendly so I was fully aware of that when I booked (I’m a vegetarian) but travelling with a young family it is always the better the option. The options, although limited, were delicious and there is so many food options/meituan (food lockers at the hotel) there is lots to choose from.

Superb

I’ve stayed at Amara multiple times over the last few months. The staff are very accommodating and responsive to any needs. The bed is super comfortable and I always sleep very well. The bathroom is much nicer than most hotels at this price point, very modern with a nice shower and very large separate tub. I had a mix up with one of my meals, but they quickly remedied it and went extra to make up for it. Lunch from the Thai restaurant is tasty and a good value.

Heat still can’t be adjusted in the winter, but they seem to be addressing this with engineering. It’s more comfortable now and the windows can be opened to help as well. I can sleep comfortably. Standard American breakfast is rather pricey for what you get

Great bed and facilities. Very friendly staff.

The executive lounge was closed. Staff explained that was due to Covid. Fair enough, but why offer the Club room with Executive Lounge on bookings.com? I could have saved the extra 250.

Great hotel at affordable rates!

The hotel was very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable.

I don't know if it was just me who realised this only but in the evenings there were "young girls" and pimps moving around the hotel. They definitely didn't look like hotel guests to me. If the hotel accepts this kind of sleazy business perhaps they should consider asking them to use the service lift instead of the passenger lifts.
