the apartment was amazing but the actual building was a let down

I liked the actual apartment that we booked, it was aesthetically pleasing

The actual building wasn't satisfying. The elevators were out service, my baby's stroller got caught between the doors

My stay was pleasant because of the people whom I encountered.

I liked the location of the property. It was clean and had adequate facilities. It was also value for money. The gentlemen at reception were very polite and helpful.

Apartment looks better on the website. I would not describe the apartment as "luxury." If it is luxury there should at least be a generator. I should have been informed that the apartment does not have a generator and this would have been considerd in my decision to stay here. I was in the dark many times and could not go out in the evenings because I was unable to get dressed in the dark. Also the lifts do not work which was frustrating so I had to keep calling the receptionist. Finally, why is it that there is car washing in front of the entrance to the building? This is tacky and does not enhance the marketing or value of the property.

the place is so good but need more workers maybe attention will be paid to guests

The Holloway was horrific and no one accompanied us to our room,the door on our way to the room stucked on us and had to figure out ourselves on what to do .we were not accompanied because the guy couldn’t leave the reception alone.

Superb

Loved almost everything about The Franklin. The apartment exceeded my expectations. The décor is classy, it is clean the apartment has all appliances as well as 2 rechargeable lights for when there is loadshedding. Building is central and has secure parking. Host communicates effectively via Booking.com app.

My check-in experience was horrible! I understand this is out of the hosts control but the building could do decent, professional reception staff. I hate that I only found out after completing my booking that I'd have to pay R70 per day for parking

Best experience in The Franklin luxury hotel

The service lady, who was responsible for our stay, she was of great service, it was excellent, any complain we had, she would ensure that it is sorted out quickly. The apartment was so clean, and everything we wanted was easily available in the apartment. This made me to rethink of visiting again sooner 😊😊, thank you so much franklin hotel crew 🙏

The place was neat. Opened space and very organized.

The false advertising of parking. There was no free parking . Was forced to pay R210 for parking when initially the advertisement made seem it has parking included. The building where the apartment was located at kept on having electricity problems to a point that for our duration of our stay we completely left without having electricity. Even the back up generator does not do any sufficient jobs to the rooms

Pleasant

It was very quiet. The apartment was clean. It is a good sized apartment for 2-3 people. Bathroom is big and clean. It is beautifully decorated.

It was very hot and the provided fan was not effective at all. No air-conditioning. Cool breeze when windows are open but they slam shut, no way to keep it open. Had to use the service elevator as the rest was broken our entire stay, we had to wait long for every trip down. Wifi did not want to connect until the last day. On arrival there was washing going in the machine but no one could tell us what to do with it or how to use the machine. I had to take it out and fold it away.
