This Mountain Cabin is a Favorite Family Vacation Rental and Short Term Lodging for Work Groups and Retreats. There are 4 Bdrms, an Upstairs Living Room, a Downstairs Lounge, a Laundry Room, Designated Home Office Space, A Complete Game Room with Championship size Pool Table & a Private Picnic Area.

Downstairs you willl find the Entertainment Lounge with a Roku TV, Stand Up Bar, Poker Top Table, Family Board Games and a Queen Pull-out Sofa. Outside the Lounge, there is the Cocktail Deck that overlooks your Private Picnic Area with a Hammock. Additionally, there are 3 more Bedrooms on the lower level (King, Queen and Double) and another Full Bath with a Tub Shower.

I booked this property for 6 of my employees who were working in Chester for 2 weeks. It was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything they needed and they enjoyed the game room.
From my perspective as an employer it was better than booking multiple hotel rooms. The cost was better, my employees were comfortable and well rested and we felt that the vehicles were safe.
We were able to extend our stay for another week when the project went longer.
Communication with the owner was great as well!

Our family of four enjoyed this spacious, comfortable and well equipped house by the lake for a vacation. The AC was great for the hot days and the games room was great for the day it rained! Great location close to the lake, quiet and scenic. We’d stay again. Thanks for having us.

What a perfect getaway!! We really enjoyed our stay.
We have a mixed party of 9 and the accommodations and space was perfect for everyone. The home was very clean and welcoming. Plenty of activities to enjoy in and away from the cabin. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and gathering around the dinner table in the evening and playing board games after a long day at the beach! Cindy is a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive.

First impression was property was very clean and well maintained. Location was close to golf and beach-rec areas. Cindy the owner was readily available for questions or concerns. Size was nice for 6 adults and 4 kids 6,7,7and 11 years old. Had a cool man cave (detached garage) not so good for our young kids but very nice. Kitchen was wellequipped . Property was well depicted .

Enjoyed our annual family outing in this well maintained cabin in Lake Almanor Country Club. The property was well stocked, provided amble parking, a boat slip and Cindy was terrific in communicating during the entire week.

Family vacation
Our family had a wonderful stay at Cedar Ridge. This was our second stay here. It has a great floor plan. Kitchen has 2 empty pantries to story your food items. A large dining table to accommodate many diners. The game room garage was a big hit with many family members. Homeowner was super easy to communicate with. Very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

The location in the gated community is easy to find and the kids enjoyed the rec areas and especially the game room. Cindy was very receptive to messages and a great host.

Our stay here was fantastic. Cindy had the driveway plowed for us so that we could easily access the property, as there was quite a bit of snow. She was also very helpful and attentive while we were there. The home was well equipped with everything we could need for cooking and sleeping. Everyone in our group very much enjoyed their stay. I cannot say enough about how perfect this place was for celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary. There were abundant areas to relax or play after we were done at the beach or boating. The kitchen was so well set up and functional. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.

The community is very central to many activities. We had a great stay in the property. There are separate living areas upstairs and downstairs for the kids and adults. It also has all the basic appliances/tools/bbq that one would need for prepping meals. The area is beautiful and best thing is it is not crowded! Unfortunately our trip was planned right in the middle of this year's horrible wild fires so we were stuck with dense smoke and our trip got delayed by one day due to a PGE PSPS. Our host / property owner was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process! Her communication was prompt and informative and she was very reasonable, respectful, super easy to communicate with, and also very accommodating to our needs and to the changing dynamics of the trip due to external factors that none of us had any control over. The house was exactly as described online and we were so thankful to have the pool table, dart board, cards, and board games to keep the kids entertained and the whole family laughing while we were stuck inside due to the hazardous amount of smoke outdoors. While we didn't get to see much of the lake this trip we were still able to have a great time, and we most definitely plan to book this house again for a return trip next summer. I would highly recommend this property to others.

Emails were always answered very quickly & thoroughly & she seemed to always have guests best interest at heart. Several days into our stay she emailed me to find out how our stay was going. I told her the Keurig coffee machine was off & on & also that we all were very uncomfortable on the beds-way too hard. 15 min later I heard back from her that she’d gone online & ordered a new Keurig & memory foam mattress covers for all the beds. Now that’s service!! When they were delivered the housekeeper came over & set them up for all of us. It made all the difference in all of our sleeping & comfort.
The kitchen was well-stocked & even had some seasonings- coffee, sugar, oil...certain necessities that you need but hate to buy for vacation.
House was very clean, the man cave hosted several billiards games, the kids roamed the large forest area playing & fed deer. The outside decks were large & comphy for evening’s, & the neighborhood was very nice, safe & quiet.
We were 6 adults & 3 children & everyone hopes to go back next year!

With the two couches, our family fit comfortably. Beds were comfy and it was easy to sleep with the quiet neighborhood. The kids loved the downstairs den. We were close to everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. A few things to note:
- No one in our family wanted to sleep on the futon in the garage, so I wouldn't plan on that as an extra bed.
- There's a lot of sap (because there's a lot of trees!), so plan on kicking your shoes off and cleaning them - and your car - once you get home.
- The owners leave you a key card for the gate, so once you're in just grab that and it will be easy to get in the gate for the rest of your visit.
- If you want to use the King room as your master, you'll be sharing a bathroom with the other folks downstairs.

Make sure you bring some inexpensive flip flops to wear if you plan to BBQ. This portion of the deck is covered with sap from the trees. The rest of the deck is okay.
