Very friendly staff, excellent off street parking and clean rooms and restaurant.

I would have liked some light curtains in the bedroom window, as my bedroom was on the ground floor and facing the car park, so had to keep the heavy curtains closed so as not to feel exposed!

This is a very comfortable and clean hotel. The staff are excellent and took trouble to attend to our needs. The hotel's location is within easy reach of Gatwick airport and the M25. It would be an ideal stopover for walkers on the Pilgrims Way and it is set in a good position above the pleasant country town of Reigate. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and clean. Breakfasts were leisurely - the staff did not hurry us along - and we were able to enjoy a full range of items to choose from. The manager attended each guest to check on whether they were satisfied with the hotel.

My wife and I are in our 80s and my wife has acute mobility issues. The facilities in our room were excellent as was access to the building. The reception and restaurant staff were particularly helpful and welcoming.

I needed to push my wife in a wheelchair to my daughters house which was nearby. Crossing the road was difficult due to the traffic both passing and entering the adjacent filling station.

The room was big, bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean.

The most expensive and luxury "Manor Suite" is situated beside the busiest road in Reigate instead of at the back of the building away from the constant road noise, and above the busy restaurant (particularly for breakfast in the morning) with the loudest and heaviest door opening every 10 or 15 minutes when another customer goes to get their food and then slamming behind them and shaking the entire room (this happens from 7.30am onwards). The groundskeeper also decided to start mowing the lawn directly outside my room at 5am which was a very unwelcome alarm clock. Then we come to the breakfast in the restaurant. A party of 10 of us were staying at the hotel in various rooms and we were the only guests in the restaurant for breakfast, the waiter came around to take our orders, ranging from cooked Full English breakfasts to the vegetarian alternative and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs (all options on the menu). Half an hour later and still no sign of any food. Another 15 minutes go past and finally the waiter appears with two plates, one has just two slices of toast and two poached eggs, the other has the same but with the addition of bacon. We said that something has to be wrong here as we ordered Full English options, and he thought the Veggie option was the one with bacon!! He took it back to the kitchen...another 15 minutes... finally a manager comes in and attempts to clear up the mess, then the waiter appears with plates of food that we actually ordered! Needless to say, some more training and coordination from the kitchen staff is required, a big breakdown of communication happened repeatedly somewhere along the line. Not a single mention of a refund from the manager... Maybe also some door slow closers as well so that the entire building doesn't shake..
