The room was lovely and comfy
The spa was amazing and relaxing but I wish we were given more than 45 mins a day...
The food was excellent and the chef went out of his way to cater for my allergies which I'm so grateful for!
Staff were awesome and so friendly
Definitely coming back again xxxx
Just the spa wishing it was more than one lot of 45 mins per day as the thermal spa was so empty all the time so would of been ample room for more people xx

Amazing views, including from spa

Hotel is very comfortable and facilities are outstanding, rooms are a good size. Breakfast included is a substantial full breakfast. We dined at the restaurant for dinner, which was also good. The gym and spa areas are great. Hotel is located with amazing views over Saunton Sands Beach. Close to fab golf courses too.

I absolutely love this hotel and it’s location. My family live locally and this is the second time I have stayed there. The staff are excellent they cannot do enough for their customers they are extremely courteous and nothing is a problem for them. I cannot praise the hotel enough it is immaculate and I should imagine the organisation behind it is spot on.
The only thing I found not entirely good was the pillows on my bed I intended to take my own from home but forgot . However I feel pillows are a very personal thing and what suits one person may not suite another. All in all there is nothing I do not like

Breakfast was lovely
The receptionists were also lovely and friendly.
Unfortunately, I had to call three times for the same room service order. Staff had forgotten my request.
Few items in my room were dirty e.g the cup and some towels had stains on them.

Location , relaxed feel , access to the spa and pool , drying room.
For some reason we only had a few good cups of tea during our stay. Too weak, too strong or just odd.

Spa was nice and well equipped. Fantastic view of a lovely beach.
The hotel seems understaffed; the staff at the restaurant could not even ask us for drinks for half an hour, forgot our food and were rude when called out.
We were locked out of our room and had to chase the staff across the hotel to get the spare key for hours as they failed to fix the issue or change the room.
Poor value for money, and not as luxurious as we thought.

The staff here are acceptional, very well connected with guests. This is the sort of service a lot of other hotels should aspire to.
Understandable that our room was small due to the rate, but on level one, the rooms facing the roof are not great.

The view was stupendous.
The staff were really welcoming, professional and efficient always ready to assist.
Breakfast and service was excellent with plenty of choice.
As a lone female guest I felt very relaxed and comfortable at this hotel.
Room was clean and comfortable and a good size for a single room.
The fridge was a nice touch.
Spacious hotel with plenty of areas to relax both inside and out.
The room balcony needed a clean. Although you can't stop the seagulls this should be checked daily.
I went for a late afternoon dip in the outdoor pool. There were empty glasses around the pool edge. Although this reflects more on the other guests they should be cleared promply.

Staff are amazing, dining areas absolutely fabulous
Outside is a little dated but totally made up for by the location and service provided

Location and breakfast were great as was thermal suite and pool.
Room in old part was very old fashioned and not furnished to a very high standard, considering thr price. Some stains on the carpet and fan didn't work in the bathroom. No point complaining as only staying one night. Dinner service was slow and being gluten free and vegetarian all options on offer were spicy. One option which I chose was marked as gluten free but then informed it wasn't so couldnt have it. The staff were lovely but I didnt think the hotel is worth having 4 stars. On our walking trip we had better accommodation in bed and breakfasts. The hotel is selling itself on location and having a spa.

Excellent breakfast. Outstanding location and views. Hotel is an art deco sensation in this cliff top beach side location.
This hotel is a charming historic venue where the location and views are unbeatable, but some of the rooms and balcony sizes are from a bygone era.

Lovely room with great views, breakfast v good
Evening meal was below the standard I expected, wife’s steak was tasty but difficult to cut and very chewy, sinew running throughout.
I had the sea base which was a little underwhelming.
Overall for the wife’s birthday disappointed

Location is exceptional, staff are friendly.
The mattress was awful, soft and concave. The decor in general looks tired. Breakfast was average.
4.5 / 5.0
Staff were pleasant and helpful
Food was very good
Location was exceptional
Beds were a bit soft for us, and as in most hotels duvets were too heavy.
