3 days in heaven

The location near restaurants, waterfront bars and shops was extremely convenient however the hotel is elevated and offers the most magnificent views day and night. We had a wonderful time in 2 room types - 3rd floor partial sea view for adults and 1st floor courtyard room for teen sons. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection of options and the pool area was immaculate- again with epic views. My family rated the stay either 9 or 10/10. My husband said we will definitely be back and one of the best boutique hotels we have experienced. I would highly recommend this hotel - it is completely charming.

Nothing really - rooms a little small but well appointed.

Atemberaubender Blick in perfekter Lage

Der Blick vom oben am Hang gelegenen Hotel ist schlichtweg atemberaubend. Der Barbereich, der Poolbereich ebenso wie das Restaurant bieten einen unglaublichen Blick auf den schönen Teil von Sestri Levante. Die Liegen am Pool waren sehr bequem und man konnte dort gut entspannen. Der Barbereich ist ebenfalls sehr schön gestaltet, viele Tische sind im Außenbereich. Aber wirklich sensationell ist ein Abendesssen im Restaurant mit Sonnenuntergang und diesem wundervollen Blick über die Häuser. Die Atmosphäre und der Service sind fantastisch. Welche eine tolle Erfahrung! Wir hatten einen zentralen Parkplatz in der Nähe der Rezeption, super! Das Frühstück lässt auch keine Wünsche offen, auch hier sind der perfekte Service sowie die enorme Auswahl zu erwähnen!

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Dazu hatten wir einen tollen Garten, der wirklich besonders groß war, also auch alles top. Also eigentlich gab es nichts Negatives.

Sehr schöner und angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Ausgezeichnete Lage! Sehr freundliches Personal. Mit Lift ist der Ort in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Sehr gutes Frühstück- nicht wie in AT aber für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Sehr schöner Pool und außergewöhnlich schöne Terrasse. Vom Restaurant (hier wird das Frühstück serviert) und von der Terrasse hat man einen außergewöhnlich schönen Blick auf die Halbinsel Sestri Levante. Auf der Terrasse kann man auch abends einen Drink nehmen. Oder im Restaurant Abendessen. Es fehlt nichts! Geschmackvoll eingerichtet Zimmer. Das Bett war etwas hart aber ok. Insgesamt ist es teuer aber ich würde wieder dort wohnen, weil es insgesamt sehr schön ist und eine angenehme Atmosphäre herrscht. Parkplätze sind kein Problem!

We will be back. We adore Sestri Levante and we really like a lot this hotel.

Best position possible, right in the very center of Sestri Levante, yet on a hill and with amazing views. The staff is very gentle, the management is very reasonable and tries to accomodate client’s wishes as much as possible. Highly suggested are Room 311 (if you are looking for a small room) and Room 315 (if you are looking for a large one): these rooms have an absolutely stunning view to the “Baia del Silenzio” and both have a balcony.

The breakfast could have been a bit better. Not very well organized (frequently partially empty serving dishes) and the choice could have been better.

Your room (306) was directly under the kitchen so very noisy early in the morning. Also next to room cleaning store, so more noise!

Amazing hotel! Rooms are very comfortable and clean, great view. The bar and the restaurant are amazing with an incredible view! Best breakfast I’ve ever had in any hotel!

Perfect central location in which to experience Liguria

The hotel has the most incredible vantage point sitting high up in Sestri Levante, and our room had two balconies overlooking the bay and the town. Although the rooms were slightly old fashioned the bed was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. I had a massage in the spa which was wonderful. The pool area was lovely as was the sky bar, staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We really enjoyed the town a great centre in which to explore the region by train. Would definitely recommend x

perfect hotel in perfect location

This is a beautiful property with the best staff and the cleanest facilities. we opted for a small room because there was a private patio. we loved it and even had an afternoon nap on the lawn furniture. the lift down to the street level is such a super bonus.

wonderful return to Vis a Vis.

this is the 3rd visit to Vis a Vis. We adore this hotel and Sestri Levante. They upgraded us to a fabulous 2 room suite with 2 balconies. i only wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights. braggart odd berry hood, lots of choices and the views from the dining room are beautiful. The staff is very helpful and charming.

perhaps the nightly price. but in the scheme of things with the money.

Old Hollywood Elegance! I felt like I was in an Agatha Christie murder mystery location!

This property was top notch! The staff was outstanding and the entire stay was every bit what I was expecting and then some. The location was a little off the beaten path but well worth it for the service and elegance of this property.

Vis a Vis exceeded or expectations. Great staff, room and view, breakfast

All of the staff is terrific and works to make your stay a "10". Cinzia was a delight! The room was very nice although the bathroom was tight. They have a very nice pool and spa services. The hotel is close to many restaurants and shops and is only a 15 minute walk to the train station. It is a good jumping off point for Cique Terre, Santa Margherita and Portofino. No doubt, I'd stay here again

Beautiful views

Beautiful rooms and the views from the hotel. Great breakfast. Nice location with a ten-minute walk to the beach and the town centre.

The hotel needs a bit of restoration, feels a bit old already. No iron in the room and not possible to get one. Thus it was not possible to iron our things when we checked-in at the usual 15:00, so we had to wait till the morning to get our clothes pressed.

Our favourite hotel in Italy

This is our favourite hotel in Europe. The view over the gulf to Portofino from the rooftop bar is memorable and our breakfast table was next to the window so each morning we had an amazing view to start the day. Our room was great. Some comments are that they're a bit small but we thought it was fine. We had a partial sea view which was still pretty good and we ofter sat on the balcony with a glass. We ate twice at the restaurant and the food was really excellent and the local wine list very reasonably priced. We came by train from Pisa and the taxi took 5 minutes from the station. You could walk it in 15mins max if you were up for it. It was our first visit since 2019 and it was like returning to a home from home. Even the receptionist remembered me from last time. Truly excellent and we shall keep returning especially since the train was so easy. We used to come by car but didn't fancy it this year. Train it is.

Nothing. It always meets our expectations and we never have any complaints. Staff are especially good, friendly, helpful and seem to really like working there.
