Would love to spend more time here & if we came back would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was excellent. Our hosts were fantastic - very helpful and just lovely people.

My only note is everywhere we travelled all beds are double beds (as opposed to queen size).

Amazing

We enjoyed our stay as Jo and Martin are very welcoming and the warmth of their hospitality is second to none. Rooms were clean and Breakfast was scrumptious.

We would like to go back and stay there again.

Exceptional

Amazing guesthouse located a short walk from most attractions in Paignton. The guesthouse itself it very warm and inviting and the rooms are super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and Jo & Martin are cracking hosts, doing everything to ensure you feel welcomed throughout your whole stay!.

Wonderful stay

Hosts, Jo and Martin were very welcoming, we as a family of 4 had a very lovely stay. Great spacious rooms, nice ensuite, personalised touches were nice. Had everything we personally needed, Definitely recommend Thank you!

Wonderful stay

The hosts, Jo and Martin are super friendly and helpful. Cherwood is a clean and beautifully furnished B & B. Breakfast is delicious. Location is great for access to Paignton beach, promenade, train station and town.

Feels like visiting your favourite family member

I loved the way they have decorated the place. Looks homely. There’s plenty of food for breakfast and cooked breakfast was great. I was able to choose what wanted, like menu states fried or scrambled egg but rather had poached egg and had seeded bread which was not on the menu too. So staying here was like visiting a family. They were great with children too.

Great hosts

Jo and Martin were exceptional hosts. Cherwood is a cozy jewel by the sea. Breakfast is breathtaking. I forgot a bunch of personal belongings when I left and they were kind enough to ship them back to London. Drausio

Very relaxing and enjoyable visit, would definitely book again.

Very kind and friendly hosts. Lovely room, well decorated, clean, comfortable bed. TV and good WiFi. Lovely adjustable shower and good bathroom facilities. Lots of fresh towels etc. Kettle with tea and coffee. Dvd's, books and little treats also available. Great location, close to rail, bus station, car park, shops, restaurants and beach front!

a friendly welcome from Jo & Martin. breakfast was fab, Martin makes the best eggs 😃 Jo was really helpful when we had a minor crisis with my granddaughter and needed a trip to A&E, they made us bacon sarnies to take away for our early trip to Bristol. will definitely stay again

Very nice place to stay good food clean couldn’t ask for a better stay

Ok but a little more extra bacon and sausage and there was not cerial for guleton free but apart from that excellent service with always a smile

Jo and Martin are lovely hosts, and the breakfasts are delicious. Rooms clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. All in walking distance to beach/ pier etc. Would definitely stay at Cherwood Guest House again

Location was perfect. Right by the beachfront and not even 5 mins from train station and town Owners Joe and Martin were so welcoming and attentive.

Excellent time loved every minute.

Breakfast was of an exceptional standard, tasty and set you up for the day. Our hosts were chatty and not overpowering.
