Cleaning:
We use the following Covid-19 cleaning protocol using a diluted bleach solution (1/3rd cup) bleach per gallon of water and alcohol. We clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces in the household common areas (e.g. tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, phones, tablets, touch screens, remote controls, keyboards, handles, desks, toilets, sinks).
We named the property Magnolia Manor because the surrounding hills and hollows area has abundant 'cowcumber' magnolias growing everywhere. On Google Maps we can be found just across the lake (West Side) from the Bridge at Trident Marina next to the peninsula. Trident Marina has live music during the summer months. Double-decker boat dock with an upper pavilion now installed. We have 270 feet of steps down to the lakeside pavilion and then a sidewalk down to the new double-decker boat dock with swim platform. Dock Fishing and site-seeing excellent. Free blazing fast fiber WiFi. 15-20 minutes from Interstate 65, the major highway artery from Mobile, AL to Chicago, IL.

Our family gathered in this well-stocked, large home for connection through stories, food, play, and celebrations. We had plenty of room for all ages to enjoy each other. I was afraid the steps to the dock were too much, but they were actually really easy b/c slope and height were accounted for. Location for supplies and boat rental and use were excellent. Host was available, house fit our needs.

Nice place but need one large bed in one of the room full of bunk beds

The house is beautiful and well kept. Very clean. The lake is beautiful. My family floated in the water or sat on the deck. I am 78 so the steps are a little too much for me and my pregnant granddaughter but the host made arrangements with the neighbors for us to drive down to the pier and park. Would recommend for sure.

We had a fabulous vacation with kids and grandchildren. Home was beautiful and enjoyed hanging at lake looking forward to our next visit.

We enjoyed get the 5 generation together at this property. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out as well as be together.
The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and glasses. There were plenty of pots and pans that had been used a lot and some had to be rewashed before we could use them.
One thing that did surprise me was the lack of life vest and or floats. Luckily we brought some because of having a couple small children.
Overall it’s was a wonderful week.

We had 25 students sleep comfortably in this house. The accommodations were wonderful and we had a great weekend. The lake and dock had to be everyone’s favorite! The students had a great time jumping off into the water and even watching the stars at night! The hike up was definitely worth it! We loved the house and would love to stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The host checked in with us before we arrived to see if we would need anything or if we had any questions. The only hard part about checking in was deciding which master suite we wanted to stay in! This home is perfect for anyone who wants to stay with multiple families/friends because it has multiple sleeping arrangements. Downstairs has a large game room along with a mini kitchen and additional washer & dryer. Our kids loved jumping off the 2 story boat house and the being able to keep our boat in the slip made getting on the water really easy and convenient. As for the location it was perfect for us. It is a 3 minute boat ride from Trident Marina and Trident Grill. We highly recommend staying here!

House was beautiful and well stocked with linens and kitchen needs. The stovetop was out but had griddle and hot plates to use, however breaker kept going off and had to switch outlets when cooking. Only two large kitchen bags available for garbage and two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom which didn’t last long. Dock houses were swarming with wasp, two children were stung. Rotten board noted on dock in water that posed hazard. Dead mouse found in floor of lower level but no live mice seen during visit. Just a lot of inconveniences for price paid. All in all plenty of room, good location.

We were here with a group of co-workers for a retreat and had a wonderful stay!

Everything was great. The only concern was the main level AC. It never cooled the main level. It was a pleasant weekend and the weather was comfortable so we opened the windows, but the AC was not cooling.
Thanks for a great weekend.

House was clean and fully stocked kitchen for a large group. A lot of outdoor space and outdoor seating! Second fridge/freezer in basement was a bonus!

The outside of this lake house was just as pictures show. The floors need more attention from the cleaning staff. Apparently this area (not just this house) is known for power outages if it storms, take candles or flash lights because the local stores did not have any and the Dollar General that was close was closed, no power. With all that went wrong (no power) we all still had a great time with family in this lovely home.

Highly recommend staying here

Property was great and worked well for our gathering.

We gathered for celebration of my mother-in-law's birthday. It was great for her children to all be with her, some grandchildren and great grandchildren. Even family in the area were able to stop in to visit. Perfect for our needs with pool table, foose ball and puzzles on hand, fun for all. Weather was nice for walks, if you are in shape for hills.
Beautiful place, we'll equipped; a few more larger serving bowls might have been useful.
Overall PERFECT FOR US!
Rickey was wonderful to work with and eager to assist.

I planned my wedding at this house just by seeing the pictures. I was nervous, but I felt like it would work. Let me tell you! This house is perfection!!!! If you're planning an event, there are so many stunning places on the property! The living room windows make a breath taking back drop! The double decks on the back of the house have such a stunning view and are so spacious. There is a LONG walk to the water, but the steps are beautiful and there is a lovely pavillion about half way down. There is a perfect place down by the water for a ceremony. You can't see it in pictures, but it's there. The dock on the water is also really nice! Now as for the house itself, it was super clean and well maintained. There is so much room in the house and the hosts have thought of everything! The kitchen is well stocked! There's TONS of beds. There's also a green egg on the deck for you to use. I can't recommend this house enough. It's so perfect in every way!

This property met all the needs of my team: space to spread out, plenty of sleeping room, fun amenities to occupy their down time. The kitchen was well equipped so we could feed our team dinner and breakfast before the state championship. We will stay here every year if we can.

Our stay at Magnolia Manor was very positive. Rickey was extremely responsive to questions and made the booking and check-in/out process seamless. We had a group of women come for a 60th birthday party. Everything was wonderful. We had plenty of room and the property was great. The weather was not great that weekend but we had so much fun playing games. The owners were great with communication.

The team had a great time. It was a great team bonding experience. Everybody got to relax, to cook, to go swimming in the lake, and enjoy fabulous views.
The house is extremely comfortable. On a rainy night, the TV had all channels we could possibly want to watch for enterntainment; and it was overall a great experience.

The house was beautiful and definitely accommodated our family! We got in house at 4pm but the cleaning lady was still there. House was somewhat clean upon arrival! All in all we had a good visit!

My wife and I rented the property for our entire family. Two children and spouses, four grandkids, two sisters of my wife and one husband. Kids had a blast swimming and playing games at the Lake house.

Amazing place. Our large group had a blast!
Great location and amenities. We would go back.

Great location but needs fumigation
The property was beautiful but needed a good fumigation. We found lots of crawly bugs on and around the beds downstairs. Could have also equipped it with the basics (liquid dish soap, toilet paper) but we enjoyed the spacious living area to play games, chat or watch a movie.
