Greedy cunts

Everything but the price

I stayed 3 nights. £48 first night. £50 second night. £64 third night. Won't be staying again. Greedy cunts

The hotel was very nice and clean, with very friendly staff. The beds were very comfortable.

There was no served breakfast which was disappointing although we paid to have breakfast.

As the hotel was being refurbished, our family of four were each given £6 Greggs gift vouchers as which Im not sure was good value for money. The hotel could’ve told us in advance about their refurbishment and given us the option of getting breakfast elsewhere.

Good stay

Carpark looked overgrown like it was an abandoned place, but the inside hotel was fine ,room clean and tidy would stay again, ideal for what I needed.

Our weekend stay at the hotel was very good and the staff friendly and helpful.

Location of hotel is ideal for us. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We've used this hotel many times and is value for money.

Shower low pressure, (nothing to do with property) but for Sunderland being so big you would think the taxi services would be better.

A comfortable stay at a budget price

Staff are always eager to help and the site is very peaceful, despite being next to an entertainment venue.

Nothing to dislike from our point of view, but a little way from the town centre and isolated except for a retail park and the pub/club next door. Good bus service from the retail park next door though, and quiet roads into town if driving.

Will definitely be staying again

Great friendly welcome, clean room, bed made and towels changed each day. Quiet even though a weekend and next to a large restaurant/pub. Really impressed for the money!

I hadn't understood breakfast was a continental breakfast in a bag, my fault, and actually it was fine for what it was. But such a little moan and let's be honest at the price any breakfast was incredible.

although good hotel, I probably wouldn’t use again as it’s not set up for our needs

it was clean and staff were good

it was extremely noisy. I understand on a weekend it’s peoples weekend out, however we stayed for my son to compete at the pool-an early start! we were woken at 3am, 4am, and 5am by gusts above us.

Great Budget Hotel

Location, friendly staff, room size, quiet, price. Maybe I was just lucky but I had a really nice stay, as it was very quiet which is quite unusual in Hotels these days. I had the best night's sleep ever. The staff were lovely, thanks girls. If you fancy a stroll across the North Spire Bridge you can walk to Pallion Metro station, about 15 mins which is handy. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Overall, happy with our stay

Room was a little small but adequate for what we needed. Breakfast was great considering the cost Staff were excellent

Bed was hard and we often woke with a bad back TV signal was rubbish and the picture kept breaking up

Ideal for work stop over

I wasn’t expecting much. It was a last min booking due to work. But the place was exceptionally clean. I prob wouldn’t stay with my family. But for anyone who needs something for work to sleep it’s spot on. The staff were all lovely and the little breakfast bag was an added bonus. The restaurant next door was 5 star. For £50 a night it was spot on

It was a basic hotel. But it was clean and that was my priority

A good clean basic hotel that needs to upgrade a little

Rooms clean & tidy , bed comfortable , staff polite & helpful No problems parking , handy shops around the corner, location good and perfect to explore the area.

Vanity light no working , kettle fell apart & Dangerous so I exchanged for another. No wall sockets /usb ports by or near the bed. The main door to the corridor slams shut and produces a very loud thump (especially from 6.30 am onwards) Definitely no complaints about the staff and the hotel is basically a nice place to stay but it needs a little more attention to room maintenance e.g. lights & electrical equipment , and a little upgrading here & there

Lovely stay

Staff were so friendly and helpful, room was nice and clean, and bed was super comfy.

Breakfast was minimal and in a paper bag, it was OK for the 2 of us, but would be no good if we'd had children with us.

Needed a hotel that we could check in late / early hours and just a bed for the night and left early in the morning.

Nice friendly staff and fitted the purpose. Cheap and cheerful! Good value for money.
