Super Unterkunft mitten im Zentrum für kurz oder länger :)

Ich bin mehr oder weniger hier gestrandet, da wegen schlechten Wetter keine Fähre mehr fuhr und ich nicht zum Boot (an einer kleinen Insel vor Anker gelegen) zurückkehren konnte. Ich wurde total herzlich am Abend noch empfangen. Alles was mir fehlte, haben wir irgendwie zusammenbekommen, sodass ich wegen des Sturms hier sicher unterkam. Vielen Dank an Raquel!! :) Die Unterkunft ist sehr süß und sauber. Mein Zimmer super mit zwei kleinen Balkonen und Dusche. Gemeinschaftstoilette befindet sich auf dem Gang, was für mich überhaupt kein Problem war. Wegen des schlechten Wetters hatte ich leider nichts von der schönen Terrasse, war aber kurz oben und kann mir vorstellen wie toll sie bei Sonnenschein ist. 😎☀️

Das Gebäude ist hellhörig, hat mich aber nicht vom Schlafen abgehalten, da sich die anderen Gäste rücksichtsvoll verhalten haben. ☺️🙏🏻

Wouldn't recommend. Not worth the money.

The only thing I liked about this property was the location. But to some with kids, it might be an issue as there are several restaurants just down the building and it was noisy till late in the night and got noisy again early in the morning.

I didn't like the room. The pictures shown here kind of give a false idea of how actually the room is. The room has no AC and the fan was so slow that it was very hard to sleep in so much heat. Opening windows for ventilation was again a problem due to so much noise in neighborhood. The shower had no door but was shown the door in the pictures. The shower is so small that even a child will injure himself while taking a bath. My husband and I both got hurt in our hands. Overall I would not recommend it to anyone.

I have reported with certainty the loss of my watch (brand "Ice") that I had carefully stored in the inside pocket of my luggage. This hotel applied daily cleaning (in my absence, as I was visiting Olhão). I'm sad but certain to come to the conclusion it was stolen at this moment. All my stay in Algarve was under myself attendance, except these 5 days at Bicuar pension. Sadly the Bicuar manager refuses any compensation. I am really upset. Best regards

Great staff and nice style, room facilites should be better

From the staff 3 ladies were very helpful and kind: the lady from Hungary, the lady from Marokko and the lady from Brasil. It qas great that they offered us umbrellas for the sun, as well as children toys. The style is really nice, traditional.

Small room and not enough place to put or hang up the clothes. No air conditioner in the room and our room was quite hot (at night difficult to sleep). The street outside was sometimes loud at night.

It made our stay in Olhāo just perfect!

Rachel is a wonderful and extremely friendly host who helps you with everything. She did the rooftop with love and it is great to be there. Everything is extremely clean. Don't miss a delicious 6 Euro Indian lunch directly next to the house (no worries, it is all really quiet there!). A peaceful and nice area 2 minutes walking to the marina with the market halls - just great. Thank you for everything, Rachel!

Location and staff

Its very small, the rooms are small, communal kitchen is tiny and the terrace looks larger on the photos. We stayed in July 22 , a heat wave hit and the place doesn't have any air con. The room fan was broken, we had to leave after one night (pre booked 4 nights) so we paid over 500 euros for one night! . I would say the place is suitable for adults, not families.

Best accommodation deal in Olnao

Charming guesthouse, spotless rooms and bathrooms. Communal kitchen for guest use Spacious rooftop terrace with panoramic views over Olnao Friendly staff, and Kenza is the happiest manager I've met in any hotel

No faults to report. Be aware the interior entrance stair is very steep. Good exercise 😀

We enjoyed it and have plans to return but we will be asking to avoid Room 14.

We have stayed here before so knew that the staff would be charming, cheerful and helpful. The hostal's location is perfect giving unrivalled access to bars, restaurants and the town's famous market buildings.

We were allocated Room 14 on the first floor. We were very happy with that, but it turned out that the beds were really uncomfortable (we know that this is a very subjective matter but they were). We also felt that the bed clothes were damp. Room 14 is situated between the room that the morning staff use - they woke us every day at 07:00 hours clattering about - and the communal toilets. The automatic fan setting seemed to be set for too long so the noise of it running in the middle of the night disrupted our sleep too.

Perfect spot to recharge your batteries

The staff are so lovely and helpful, really makes a difference. The place just makes you relax, the rooftop is incredible and naturally brings you out of your shell if you want to meet other people on your travels. The location is perfect, everything you need is within 10 minutes walk away including ferries to Armona, Farol and Culatra.

It has a central location not far from the marina where you can get the ferry for 1.90 euro single journey, over to the beaches on the beautiful islands. Armona was our favourite. It's close to all the shops. You can also borrow beach umbrella's free of charge to take. We enjoyed our stay here, there is a beautiful rooftop that has amazing views over the harbour and Olhão. You can also keep food labeled in the fridge and use the small kitchen which was really handy.

The pillows were a bit flat, I like my pillows. But apart from that everything was very clean and was great value.

Really nice and clean guesthouse. I had a lovely and friendly welcome. The kitchen was clean and so were the toilets. I really liked the bed because it was really clean! :) The view from the roof terrace is really really nice!

Lovely place in Olhao

Communication before we arrived was great, and checking in was easy. The person who greeted us made us feel welcome. The place is charming, in a lovely neighbourhood. Spotless clean as well. We LOVED the terrasse on the roof! And the possibility to borrow parasols for the beach. The vibe of the neighbourhood is super fun. I wouldn't go elsewhere if I get to visit Olhao again!

The room was on two levels, and the top level became very hot at night. An extra fan would have been welcomed.
