Short but sweet

The facilities were great, it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly. Booking was easy.

The only thing we didn't like was the shower. The pressure was low and the shower head sprayed water in a vouplebof directions. Otherwise great

OK place to stay in Taupo.

This is an older motel. Photos on website must be from 10 years ago. The outside is a bit rundown but the rooms were clean and renovated to a reasonable standard. Lots of trucks and pick-ups when we stayed there so likely a popular place to stay for tradies and construction workers.

OK if just passing through. Price point a bit high for what you get.

Enjoiyed our visit however would like to see Resort have a lot of improvements done.

Close parking near unit

Most areas of decor could be improved a lot. E.g. paintwork and a nice clean sparkly shower glass wall etc. It looked grimy.

Good quiet stop.

Friendly helpful staff. Quiet spot.

Rooms were a little worn, especially the beds, but really clean.

Not worth it

Staff are great.

whole resort, needs an URGENT upgrade, felt like we were in emergency housing,not a resort... Wont be going back there. Sorry NOT worth my hardworking money. Didn't even take any videos or photo, was an embarrassment.

Disappointing

The one and only staff member there was actually really good, friendly and was doing her best

I booked this motel because I wanted to stay somewhere that included a restaurant which means once I'd booked in I didnt have to leave and I could get dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately the chef had covid so the reasaurant was close and for some reason also the bar so I also couldn't have a drink with my colleague once we were settled in. Breakfast consisted of toast, canned fruit and a pottle of yogurt which was another $15.00 which seemed a bit on the high side for what was provided

Good

The bedroom and the bathroom are clean and have a good heater. Make us feel comfort. Tea, coffe, milk are provided. The curtain on the window is really good so people can't see us inside. Free half an hour spa, just book in the reception. The receptions are friendly.

So far so good.

Nice resort, good location and friendly staff

Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast, would like to try the restaurant next time.

Bed too soft and sags towards the middle, no air con or ceiling fan so room became very stuffy overnight.

Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was very good.

Its a really lovely place and staff were excellent. just needs a little R & M to fix up marked walls nets & curtains and shower grout and I would give it an excellent.

Very poor

Everywhere you look there's either ruin and decay or signs up saying "no", "forbidden", "$$$ fine". One gets the impression the owners just want guests' money without the inconvenience of having to accommodate them. I was particularly disappointed at having onerous terms and conditions sprung on me when we arrived. Every other place I've ever booked through Booking.com has either listed their terms and conditions explicitly in their listing, emailed me about them well in advance of my arrival, or both. I assume this place doesn't do that because they're so over the top that people would just stay somewhere else instead -- I certainly would have!

1 overnight stay so while some disappointment it was OK - Taupo is always nice destination

Simple booking while traveling, easy to find, and friendly staff

Room cleanliness was not good - room felt like it needed a refurbish - disappointing because previous visit several years ago (a couple of years pre-covid) was much better. Also booked the spa but it was not up to temperature (only 19 DegC) and while we did wait it only raised 1 degree over 10min. As only booked for 30min plus was getting late, we left it. Pity as we were looking forward to soak after a 4hr drive

Very good

The room size is good for us.

When I checked in at the reception desk, I asked for late check out at 11:00am on next day. However day after, the cleaning team still try to get into my room before 11:00am.

Great location if not planning to stay in room all day

Nice location. polite staff. has coin operated laundry and dryer.

fairly old and worn. mattress springs were worn, making bed sag in middle. shower taps were difficult to control the hot water. Dryer needed to be cleaned.

It's was ok...but rooms are quite small for a family of 3.

The Refrigerator was snoring !! Kept us up most of the night
