Weinfest war gut, Hotel wurde zum Schlafen genutzt - mehr nicht

Die zentrale Lage

Die laufenden Renovierungen mit viel lauten Diskussionen, wer wie viel verdient, zwischen den Möbelpackern. Es hat mir auch nicht gefallen, dass der Verpackungsmüll über Nacht in den Fluren lag. Der Preis für ein vollständig überhitztes Zimmer von 95 Euro ohne Klima passt gar nicht! Es gab nur abgepacktes Eis!

Endroit idéal pour visiter Coblence et la vallée de la Moselle avec ses nombreux châteaux.

L'hôtel est directement situé le long de la Moselle. La chambre était simple mais confortable et calme. On se gare facilement et gratuitement le long de la chaussée. Il y a quelques restaurants sympathiques et pas très chers à proximité. Le personnel était très sympathique.

Suite à des travaux sur place le petit-déjeuner n'était pas servi pendant notre séjour mais il y avait possibilité de prendre pâtisserie et café à proximité.

Te duur voor wat je krijgt!

De klantvriendelijkheid dat we na 2300 uur nog werden geholpen. Lamberts wel schoon.

Kleine kamer voor dat geld. Geen bar aanwezig en ontbijten moet je drie deuren verder. De kamer is opgeknapt maar veel kleine dingetjes die nog afwerking nodig hadden.

Gorgeous hotel & great service

They upgraded me my room was amazing it was the best room i stayed in in my 12 day stay in germany the host reception man was supper even went with me to checkout the bus schedule 15 minute walk to the castle

It was a 2 mile hike from Loef (Lof with umlaut o) from the train station not a lively area at night (nowhere to see the footie :-(

Wonderful hotel, wonderful place wonderful personal.

Everything was super with Breakfast,location and everything else.

It would have been nice if some personal spooke English. My german is not so good.

Nice clean room, great price!

Nice place, comfortable bed. Very clean. We had a great view of the Burg Thurant. Restaurant food was very good and fair prices. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and very good. Staff was very welcoming to our large dog.

The entry way and reception area is very small. With people coming/going, there wasn't room for more than 2-3 people to get through at a time. We were often stuck waiting for people in order to get past to our room. Room was a little small, but we did have enough room 2 adults and large dog.

Great location for the Mosel

A great location to explore this part of the Mosel. The hotel room was comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast and lovely cakes in the afternoon. Enjoyed walking from the hotel through the vineyards to the Burg Thurant. Alken village also very interesting. Good base to visit Burg Eltz a fairy tale castle.

Had what we needed after a long hot day of biking

Breakfast was great, nice selection, and plenty of seating. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and soft beds.

In the summer, rooms needed fans. Walls and doors were thin making it hard to sleep while listening to neighbors' loud TVs.

Overall great value for the money - great breakfast buffet.

Great location in Alken and friendly staff who try to speak English - very much appreciated! Also, breakfast buffet was very much appreciated.

Lovely property, beautiful location and best staff! Thanks!

The staff was wonderful! Very helpful even with my limited German language skills. My single room was perfect for a single traveler - clean, tidy and great water pressure.

A mini fridge would have been nice but the lack of one in the room is to be expected traveling Europe - us silly Americans and our ice cold drink! :)

Overpriced for the quality

Location is great, reception staff very friendly

The free parking offering means parking is for free on tbe street, as long as you find a place to park, or park at the beginning or end of.the village, which can be white . Room was seriously basic for the nightly stay price: squeaky bed, relatively thin mattress, small dimensions, quite small shower and broken showerhead. Lastly English written messages sent to the property were never replied back. Breakfast also is quite poor in options already by 9am

Very good

Great location with free parking directly by the Mosel. Good breakfast included in room price. Room was perfectly ok and staff were very responsive and went out of their way to meet all our requests (view of the Mosel, etc.).

No complaints - room was great value for the money.

Nice stay in the center of Alken

The hotel is located near the river close to all the restaurants and bars. Breakfast was really good and the staff was very friendly. Accommodation was also very clean.

The walls were not soundproof. We could hear the person in the room next to us snore. The pillows were too thin.

Facilities were adequate.

Location was directly beside the Mosel and on the “Main Street” along side most of the restaurants and other hotels, wine shops and souvenir stores.

I got the feeling that nobody was very happy. The environment was uninspiring. Aero ice was functional and “cold”.

Good

Our host was very apologetic. At breakfast he refunded us half the price of our booked room. The breakfast was superb.

We were given keys to our room, but we found the room occupied. We were shown an alternative room, but it was a very basic room with two single beds in an annex, accessed through a service entrance. Having booked a double room months in advance, this was not good.
