The "Cabin' was a compact and cosy property with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Ian was very responsive with information on how to access the property, making sure there was heating and light on for our arrival. This was much appreciated after a long drive into cold, evening temperatures. The house is within a short walk of local shops and restaurants, with a great view of the lake from the outdoor area. We enjoyed our short stay and would happily recommend the property to others.

We stayed here during one of the coldest, stormiest weekends in Victoria and the cabin was so cosy and warm. The cabin had everything we needed, was so clean and well presented. The lake and park across the road is perfect. Our puppy Harry enjoyed the daily walks, around the lake, as did we.

The property has many thoughtful additions to make your stay easy while also being very comfy and charming. We had our greyhound Hailey with us and the enclosed yard was really helpful. She loved it. The park across the road is great and forest behind gave us lots of walks close by. We went in winter and it was toasty warm inside. Really pleased. My only disappointment was the dogs next door barking and crying. They seem to be kept outside all the time and bark at anything passing. The caged fellow cries as he is locked in a pen at the back. This is nothing to do with the host of Sparkling Springs, but was not very pleasant. Still the stay was really enjoyable and we will return!

This is our second stay at Sparkling Cabin Springs and we came back for the winter experience. It is such a cute little cottage and has everything you need for a short stay…and positioned opposite the lake with walking tracks for my little dog, which made the holiday even better. We will return! 🙂

The house was in a great location overlooking the local park and swimming hole. The accommodation was clean and tidy and had all of the facilities we needed.
The hot waters flow was a little slow but still allowed us to do everything needed like wash dishes and shower.
Great place to stay.

We had a lovely stay in this little gem of a cottage. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t explore around the lake but we will be back for another visit.

Cosy, clean, comfortable with everything you need. Quirky retro décor. Close enough to walk to town centre but also situated in a quiet, peaceful, private location.
Lots to explore around Creswick, heaps of walking tracks. Plenty of easy daytrips to enjoy or just chill on the wonderful balcony overlooking the lake.
Absolutely great value!! (cheaper than a cabin at the local caravan park with a lot more to offer).
Ian is just a phone call away if you need anything.
Thank you, Ian, for providing me with some well needed respite from the stresses of Melbourne. I am already planning my next visit.

Very enjoyable stay in a cozy house in Creswick. A great place for a weekend away with my husband and I and our small dog. House was very neat and tidy with everything we needed and the outside fully fenced area with a deck was great to sit on and relax and enjoy a coffee or a drink. Close to the Main Street and across the road from the lake. Would definitely stay again.
